Topic: Anybody else with moon square venus feel like its impossible to find someone you are.

Both sexually and emotionally compatible with? The two types of women i seem to attract or find fall into one of two categories, the first are very sweet girls who want something real, but are extremely prudish and wont go past kissing before marriage and preach at me like im an alcoholic if i have one beer or watch a movie with bad language.and then we go to the other, these girls are extremely flaky and content to play mindgames with me,but they are extremely sexual, too sexual, im talking handcuffs and hot candlewax stuff. I dont feel like im compatible with either type, im somewhere in the middle. Does anybody else with moon square venus face these kinds of dillemmas?IP: Logged |

Sounds like it. Squares are always going to be the intersection of difficultly integrated energies. For you, it's what I call the Passion / Practicality Paradox. We can build a home with the Moon, (specifically, you're drawn to women with whom you can have a 'home' relationship) but not with Venus - that's specifically our love / affection / desire nature. (And I don't mean Mars. We all know that's a bit different. Operates on a similar, but different level.) I used to see it all the time when I counselled. If I had the opportunity to've done so, I'm sure I would've found many conflicts between those two drives; a difficult time getting their Home-oriented nature and Passion-driven desires in functional alignment to bring about the sort of compatibility they both WANT (Venus) and NEED (Moon). I'd have to see what the rest of your chart is doing to really assess, though. That's broad strokes. -A.

This is actually a venus square pluto problem.
I know because I have it myself  This website doesn't explain it very well. I've seen it explained better before. But, for now, this is all I can find. quote:

Basically, having this aspect myself, I 100% get what you mean. I either attract guys who I am sexually attracted to but who are too "free spirited" for me and do not meet my security needs (for example, answering my text messages quickly, being engaging enough, etc) OR guys who are very stable and secure but are not very sexual and so I'm not really sexually attracted to them. Then again, I thought this was the age old problem of being attracted to bad boys or bad girls vs choosing the nice guy or nice girl.

i have that problem, mine's moon opposite venus. The people I'm interested in don't really vary as drastically as yours do. In fact the people I'm attracted to all have very similar attributes. I just have a really hard time knowing whether to follow my head or my heart at any given time - which ever way I go, a part of me struggles with it.IP: Logged |

Um, I kinda have the same problem but my Moon and Venus are in sextile.. is there something wrong here? lol. But they are not in sextile signs though, Virgo and Libra respectively, maybe that's why?Or maybe Moon/Mars square can manifest that way, too? Hmm.. IP: Logged |

I don't have this aspect, so can't speak to it. The chart would answer all the questions. I am trying to think of some simple thoughts. Is your 12th house planet Saturn? I know we were talking about it?
Where is your moon/sign and house and the same for Venus?

No, moon square Mars doesn't work this way, in my experience with it. I have known quite a few guys with it. ------------------

i have the square. pluto conjunct venus squaring my moon . and it's like i can't find the balance between, my needs and and what i want, all in one in a man. its either they meet my emotional needs, but then i'm not attracted to them. and then when i am attracted to them, they don't meet my emotional needs. it's soo frustrating. i've heard this aspect creates a madonna/wh*re mentality in men.IP: Logged |
