Being new to most astrology I would definitely like to see some ppl elaborate more on what they think they are unfairly generalized as in relation to their dominant zodiac signs.

I can relate to this b/c when I first started getting interested in astrology I felt that nothing positive was ever said about Gemini Moons and Gemini Venus. I've learned that totally isn't the case but still get the feeling that they are, in some way, still painted with the same broad brush.

i dated an aquarius before, we had a lot of sexties and trines, hardley any squares and even the ones we had weren't THAT disruptive, even kind of enjoyable.
but being a taurus, i just couldn't make it work due to his aquarius sun.
i know ppl that i have difficult synastry with but our suns are 'compatible' and i can make it work.

regarding the op's question
being a taurus i don't like how ppl say all we care about is eating and don't have anything up there and are slow....
i don't care if they say they don't think we're the 'smartest' sign, if there is such a thing in the first place, but the way they talk about it makes it sound like we have some kind of mental retardation. often they seem to genuenlly think that and aren't saying it out of spite or to be mean or anything.

Sorry to pick on your post RegardesPlatero, but I need to emphasize a point that has been the underlining Libra stereotype for ages. While its true that Libras dislike conflicts, they will confront people if the situation calls for it. Too many times, Libra has been characterized as the "not-so-tough" sign of the Zodiac which is quite untrue.

Libras just like the fiery counterparts Aries will fight for Justice; Only Libra looks at the strategic side of the conflict rather than going in the melee head first like their Aries cousins .

I actually will go as far as saying that Aphrodite is the ruling Goddess of Taurus and Taurus alone whereas Libra is best represented by the goddess Athena; The goddess of War and strategy.

To be fair, I didn't say that we never caused or were involved in conflict. Just that we don't like it.

Personally, I'm not really activisty. Something would have to strike a nerve for me to do something like protest. I'd rather work from within in the system and achieve a civil, peaceful solution. I'd only really fight on a few issues. Most, I wouldn't. I used to be more politically passionate when I was younger, and I'm just not that way. I mellowed out a lot. I hold a lot of the same views, but in a calmer, more nuanced way than before.

Interesting, I could have said the same thing to all of this! I'm also into alternative medicine. And my Cap sun friends are definitely some of the most hilarious, kooky people I know.
