Topic: Your sign(s) & alcohol -- how it affects you?

One thing I've wondered for a while is how alcohol affects different signs in the zodiac. I would also imagine the moon plays a role in the way we behave while taking sips  Main reason why I'm so curious is because I definitely like to have a drink here and there. And I've always been able to noticed the changes in my overall demeanor when I start to drink at a party or a get together. I'm kind of shy and timid as a person but of I have so much as 1 of 2 drinks I immediately loosen up and the inner me (I think) kinda shows itself. Which is quite a change from a slow, quiet cancer to a talkative, engaging and entertaining Gemini that only comes out when I'm comfortable! Thoughts? ------------------

I was just about to say "I feel so mellow when I drink" it's as if my Taurus moon really shows itself instead of my anxious Gemini rising. I start dancing like a wild child lol. IP: Logged |

That's so cool. I def don't feel mellow at all! But that's what I'm talking about. It varies between diff signs and stuff ------------------

I become either sleepy or unaware. I also laugh for like ten minutes straight and fall over a lot. I think when I'm drunk--I emphasize every movement because I know I'm out of it. If that makes any sense. lol.*People are talking..*. Them: "..And odysseys said..." Me: "I like Mythology!!!" Them: "I think she's at that point where
shes TOO drunk." Me: "No I'm not!" *Falls over* I may have also be a sleepy drunk because it occured early hours of the morning....
It depends on the situation, really.

My Pisces boyfriend is absolutely charming after a drink or two,he also has a gem moon.his otherwise quiet and shy personality goes out the door and he's just perfect in every way lol  he becomes so open and talkative,quite funny and flirtatious and clever. It also acts as a truth serum on him, He becomes not afriad to reveal really personal things about himself or his deepest feelings about me,but, after 3 or 4 drinks he starts to get silly and gets on my nerves, and I just walk him to his bed and tell him to go to sleep lol. He gets Tired from drinks easily so..I'm a cap sun Aries moon,I don't like losing control of myself so I rarely drink more than a few sips of wine or something.i get rather quiet and mellow from drinking,not excited or energized.personally I don't see the fun of it. I think that's so sweet  I'm the same way too. Glad to see there's people who are similar. I know a Pisces girl with Gem moon that just gets all floaty and becomes a gleaming beacon of warmth. Fun to be around! ------------------

Im a Gemini with a Cancer moon and me? I just get Gem-ish. X100. X1000 maybe. Super giggly, actually MORE witty. Kinda silly though. Deff blonde moments, even though i AM a brunette! Lol i just talk to one and all, flirt flirt FLIRT FLIRT!!!! Dont think about anything at all before i speak or act or.. anything. Wait, does that sound Aries? I have Venus in Aries.... ------------------

Weird I wrote a post about this a while ago. From all the responses I got it seems that the more outgoing signs in your chart seem to come out more. I tend to act more like a fiery Leo who tends to interrupt people, but when I'm sober I'm pretty quiet and tame in comparison. I feel my Moon sign - Pisces is more evident when I'm sober. Alcohol does not really effect me nor does weed. I never feel any different. Obviously If I drink a lot I just get nauseous...
I have sun trine saturn and mars trine saturn. Those are the only aspects my chart that are inclined to sobriety, maybe..

I don't drink but I did once try a mix of champagne, brandy and 2 other things that I can't remember. One shot and I was out there on the floor, with my dress slightly rolled up and tied with a rubber band and heels dumped under some table. I danced 4 hours straight with anyone willing. Made a lot of friends that night. Cracked the lamest of lame jokes and laughed like a lunatic. "what happens if a bull drinks red bull?" "it turns red. Hahaha" Even asked some guy for a slow number. Luckily, he didn't say No.

I am definitely less guarded after a drink or 2... talk more, worry less. The danger is that I can drink quite a bit without noticing the effects until it's too late. So I have a high tolerance for alcohol but there's a very fine "tipping point" for me... I'll be completely coherent & charming one minute, and 10 minutes later I'll be falling down. I stick to Guinness and whiskey, the clear stuff makes me a demon.------------------

I can pretty much relate to all of this It's fun to go out for drinks and I think just being in that environment even makes it easier for me to show my inner self and my entertaining side. I'm in college so it's pretty socially acceptable for now lol but I don't want to make too much of a habit out of it and I sometimes wish I could be more outgoing in situations I'm not necessarily as comfortable in... I don't get drunk. I think I've been drunk maybe once in my entire life - although I wasn't that drunk then either.
I have some alcohol... I get tipsy... rarely.
People seem to imagine I'm always in a state of drunken-ness though - probably due to my Neptune aspects. It's so easy for me to act drunk ... I think it's just my natural state lol

Leo Moon.I don't know how it effects me; I don't drink . Its actually a double edged sword; While I might not be able to COMPLETELY socially mingle in certain situations, I am however glad that by the end of the night I am one of few that doesn't ends up making a complete ass of myself . Maybe its that Libra refinement being emphasized by my two Leo placements but I just don't like the nightclub scene. And I usually am part of dance parties if its a legit media sponsored event like after-parties to movie premieres and media (videogames, computer products) launch parties (been part of a lot of those , and meeting some high profiled faces only sweetens the deal Lol!) On basis involving my beloved and friends, I am more of a lounge person. They all drink but I don't. I don't really drink alcohol, but about a year and a half ago, it was my birthday & I was in a bad mood (I'm always in a bad mood on birthdays), I was at my friend's house & she drinks, so I drank with her...I'm usually an emotional mess that thinks too much for her own good, but when I got drunk, it just emphasized my usual behavior...I couldn't stop crying, I was talking more and, surprisingly, faster than usual, about everything, life, death, misery, depression that never leaves...I really felt horrible...After a couple of hours, when I calmed down, my friend played some music by a local punk band with funny lyrics...Then I started laughing like crazy & couldn't stop...Yup, that's me on a regular day, basically, but less intense...Cap Sun, Taurus Moon, Aries Asc... I definitely act more like my rising and Sun signs Sagittarius and Libra when I loosen up. Normally I act like a mix of Scorpio and Libra but I act way more fiery when I get buzzed! I can become full-on Libra too - really sweet but with the Sag trademark of outgoing humor. I love to crack people up when I'm more relaxed. IP: Logged |

I become very articulate about my feelings , I become much more blunt and direct in a good way . I dance , which I normally find hard to do in front of people but I really feel no limits on enjoying dance when I'm drunk.. I might look a little like Elaine from Seinfeld lol but who cares . I laugh and trip up but yet I have total control over what I say and whatever it is that I do say is the complete truth and it actually sounds more intelligent . What starzy said about Pisces is definately how we fish roll~my Taurus moon lends herself to me liking to drink alone, at home, with soft candles lit...lalala...etc  My eldest daughter is an Aries sun, Pisces moon and asc. About the same for her, she gets happy, talkitive, VERY creative (as she is already) I love to wake up in the middle of the night and reach for the black berry to see what she has been posting on FB after getting off work late. We are both considered "fun drunks!" My youngest is an Aqua sun, and moon and gets drunk very easy and becomes beligerant, selfish...not the sweet (Cancer asc) she is sober... Great thread! I think life would be better if I always had one or two drinks constantly in my veins. I loosen up and get more comfortable. I'm pretty calm, quiet and reserved person sober but liquor just makes me more ...me! lol I'm never out of control. I don't like losing control and that's probably the Cap in me. If I'm at a party I will start mingling (I never do that sober). The more I drink, the more I walk around talking to everyone, joking and laughing. And dancing. That crazy mingling would be the Gem rising I guess. It's a fun mood, I like it when that happens, it's like I hit the extra speed gear for a while and I feel all energetic. ------------------
