Different people have different expectation. I¡¯m hoping to know when you guys finally muster the courage to tell yourself , ¡°It¡¯s time to move on.¡± Could you share your life story? What was it that you couldn't tolerate?

Also, this should be another thread, but since it is related to the topic, I was hoping if Pisces people and Scorpio people can shed some light here. My partner wants to ¡°move on.¡± If these people came to that conclusion, Is it final?

Hi *waves hand*

I'm a Pisces sun.
I've only been in one serious/live-in relationship thus far.
Won't discuss the reason I left him. But I made that decision and kept it. But then again I have Venus in Aquarius. I guess you can't rely on Sun sign entirely.

I know a lot of water influenced people, and when Pisces makes that decision it's final yes. They will give you the moon and the stars but even fish have their limits. It's a little harder to say with Scorpio because you're still their territory even after they've dumped you.

I'm an Aries with Venus in Aries, Mars in Gemini. I move on when the silences in conversation become longer and longer or I feel like I can't grow from knowing the person, if I'm not being taught anything or teaching them anything. It's a very Saturnian approach but my moon in Taurus IS trine Saturn in the 7th...

Thanks, that was quite helpful. How long did the relationship last with the person you just mentioned.

I think I can relate to you. I have strong Arien personality because haing my moon, ascendant, and SN in Aries, I know all too well. I've dealt with others with Aries sun/merc/venus/mars before. I dont want to generalize, but still, I remember Aries mercury really knew how to **** me off. AFAIK, you have mercury in Aries. Do you say something that is hurtful and minute ater you regret? Since you mentioned about communication, Iam wondering, if your Aries mercury took any toll in your relationship.

SN in Aries? That's tough...

Yes and no.

When I think of Mercury I think of the way someone communicates and forget it also concerns with one's thinking and processing.

In my case, I was able to hold my tongue. I don't have quite as bad a problem as say, Sag suns do when they often speak their minds. Mercury in Aries has a hard time sympathizing with someone, I think. They/we project their own emotional gauge onto other people instead of allowing individuality. I don't think Mercury in Aries is dumb, they are just cursed with tunnel vision and have to consciously work to improve it.

When I finally concede that we're incompatible. This can take a very long time. In both of the significant relationships I've had I mulled over it for months and months, feeling really guilty that I was having doubts, and as 'though there should be a 'concrete' reason to break up as opposed to niggling dissatisfaction.

Sun, Venus, and Jupiter in Pisces.

Can you tell me an event that you described as 'concrete'? That is exactly, what I want to hear.

Really? I have Mercury in Aries and can't really relate to this. If anything, I find the placement indicates lucidity of thought and communication, and on the downside, a tendency to get impatient and/or frustrated with people who don't express themselves in an equally coherent manner. I don't have a problem sympathizing with people at all.

Urgh... well, the first time around it was domestic violence. The second time was a little more complicated. The guy I was dating was a complete sweetheart and treated me like his princess, but he was just so insecure. No matter how many times I told him or tried to show him that I loved him he just couldn't trust it. It was exhausting. Eventually I caught him going through my email, my phone, and my online posts. That was my out.

Wow...thank you for being honest. Well, those are really serious acts that would make anyone to escape the relationship. So i guess, you can tolerate fairly well. When you say domestic violence, does it include slap in the face, or something equivalent to corporal punishment?

The latter. I do still have doubts about the sweet guy (we only broke up two months ago). We really were so good together, and I was very happy a lot of the time. Everyone was so shocked when we called it quits, but there really is no going back, as I doubt he would or could ever change.

Urgghh...The way you say something, it is confusing and inconclusive. Ha....So are you saying if there is a chance that he changes, you will give in to the relationship once again??????

You're right actually. I don't think sympathize was the right word. I equate sympathizing with something that takes a long time lol and I definitely don't have the patience for that, so... I wish I did, it would serve me but I don't. I tend to have problems with Mercury in Pisces people, and Mercury in Cancer, and also them me.

I'm a Moon and Venus in Taurus
I'd say I fit the description, I'll stay with my partner through thick and thin, but once I finally get too unhappy, to needy, start to lose feelings, I leave.
Thing with us taureans is that when we leave, it's a final decision an it will be etched into stone which is what my Scorpion venus and moon ex-partner failed to realise

That's very similar to Capricorn traits as well. I guess earth signs are compatible in that way.

Oops, damn nebulous Pisces placements... No, I wouldn't take him back. I waited for him to 'calm down' for a full year. He knew that his behaviour was pushing me away (the last thing that he wanted), but he couldn't stop. It was compulsive on his part. Unfortunately a 'chance' or promise of change wouldn't be good enough now - I'm too exhausted. I just meant I feel really guilty, and that guilt has me second guessing myself.

Well, my Mercury in Aries is conjunct my Venus in Pisces, so sympathizing comes easily. However, if someone makes it into a big long story, and keeps diverging from said story to say something unrelated (and therefore irrelevant), I loose my patience and start to zone out, or if it's someone I know won't be offended, gesture that they move it along :-P Perhaps you were right after all!

I believe mercury in Aries can sympatize pretty well. After all, Aries is always about ME. When people say something to Aries, they relate back to their past time experience, and if it makes sense, they know exactly what you are going through. Most Aries that I met are usually intellegent because they self-reflect. Yet, they are only intrigued about something they are interested in. So, I guess if the topic/person is boring, it isn't that they can't relate, they become indifferent, losing the will to engage.

What say you hanna?

My scorpio mom divorced my pisces dad when she found out he was cheating. Zero tolerance for cheating. Me on the other hand I have no idea what my level is simply because I measure my level of what I've done to what the other has done in the relationship. Libra mars gotta have balance. :/

You seem to put heavy weight on Mars alone. Is it heavily aspected?

Nevvvvverr lol once we are bonded for life O.o , no I have had really hard time leaving anyone , I have only had about 2 relationships and the first one he left me because he really was just using me for Sex and I was just too naive and dumb to figure that one out . The second man turned out to be a total monster and he is now gone from my life for good because he is actually incarcerated . After these lessons I definitely know my tolerance level , the man I really loved I would let get away with so much manipulating stuff , mind games , accusations, occasional slaps , and rants. I say leave as soon as the accusations become a constant pattern, it may be so hard but really it doesn't turn out well it is NEVER ENOUGH!

btw Scorpio with a pisces AC here and I heard this double water combination makes it easy too lose my identity in a relationship , from now on I won't even bother getting close to anyone , But I think I will leave if I notice a rage pattern or like with my first b.f this lack of really caring . But yes if he Rages and manipulates my feelings until i'm a ball of jello and begging & crying for forgiveness when i've done nothing wrong, than I would leave because I had to witness it and feel it first .

The two failed relationship you had. Were the synastry with them showed strong bond? Or were you describing yourself?
