1. For love
- I llike when the cluster of planet conjunct my Vertex or Venus , big event does occur for me!

I don't like transit Neptune touch my Venus at all ( or any t-venus on my Neptune) ,even the good transit ,because that un-folded my natal promise (Venus trine Neptune) ... And I'm so deluded/diffused in love like on ectasy ..

- in synnastry : contact Venus- Mars , DW .. Hmm must be good

2. For friendship .. An so-called aspect doesn't matter at all. I'm closed- friends with whom share the same/similar element of personal planet .

What is yours?

1) His Sun conjunct my Moon.. yummm!
2) I like different things in different friendships, but I always seem to have Sun conjunct or opposition Mercury in composite. For both friends and for love actually.

For friendship, Moon in my 7th or the 1st house. I would actually love these for Synastry, too.

Venus conjunct Mars is overrated. I have been the Mars and the guy the Venus and he did a lot of things to turn me off. But it was out of sign so maybe that was the problem. I like Venus-Venus aspects or Mars-Mars aspects, like opposition or conjunct. Trine for Venus.

Also, Sun-Venus-Mercury conjunct in composite makes for an easy-peasy friendship/relationship if there is no crazy shiz squaring it like Saturn or Uranus.

Moon conjunct moon is GREAT for synastry in general, but I don't think I can jive well with another Aries moon...the emotional selfishness is too overbearing and it sets off the square to my Leo sun that's already there. Battle of egos. But, if it's near the Pisces cusp it's alot easier and it's trine my Sun.

Finally I love Moon-Venus aspects in synastry.

I just seem to enjoy company of everyone that has something to do with Leo! Because then they without doubt conjunct my objects..

By far the most notable contacts have been with my Moon conjuncting his SN, even better feeling with his Sun on my SN, so home and relaxed, jeez..

other aspects - ofcourse, Sun conjunct Moon, double whammy, Mercury conjunct Moon - like we can talk whatever we want, and the other one won't judge, but understand (dw again), Moon conjunct Venus.. we just like each other, just the way we are.

Ah, for friendship i love her Sun on my NN. We met recently and I feel so great in her company, like she had been my friend for years, seriously.

Relati0nship -

venus square jupiter for a lot of laughter.

Sun c0nj M0on double whammy. I was the M0on once and it felt awes0me. The sext and the trine aren't that effective. I'm meeting s0me0ne whose M0on falls on my Sun and Sun opp my m0on, bang on. Want to see how it feels.

M0on/Venus hard aspect for all those soft em0ti0ns, care, nurturance...

Venus/Asc opp so that they flatter my ego with lovely c0mplements.

Friendship -

M0on/Venus.

A pers0nal planet on my sn0de, esp the M0on brings instant familiarity.

Merc/Jupiter = blah blah blah ha ha ha.

Asc/Ascendant easy aspect - similar outl0ok on life, easy to have with these people.

Some aspects I like for relationships:
Mars conjunct Desc (this one is mandatory for me to even like a guy).
Sun/Sun sextile or trine
Sun/Moon conjunction, sextile, trine
Sun or Moon on the Asc/Desc
Venus/Mars - for some reason I prefer the harder aspects
Moon on the nodal axis
Personal planets or Asc/Desc conjunct Vertex
Moon/Moon - any aspect other than inconjunct, really
Easy aspects between Moon/Saturn and Mars/Saturn (this one is supposed to keep the passion alive).
Aspects I absolutely hate: inconjuncts between Sun/Sun and Moon/Moon

I like the trines and conjuntions for mars and venus. The venus makes for affection and romance, while the mars makes it fun and adventurous.

* Mercury mutual ling making soft aspects for each person in the friendship. I have one friend who has Mercury in Virgo trine my Capricorn Sun, and Venus in Leo trine my Sag Mercury, and this works well. Mercury/Mercury conjunctions or soft aspects are also really good for communication.

* Moon/Moon soft aspects. They really make you feel at home with someone.

* Some type of Jupiter positive aspect to personal planets. The above mentioned friend also has her Jupiter in Capricorn conjunct my Sun.

* Positive aspect to my nodal axis, or conjunctions to the North Node, or the ruler of the North Node… give the feeling that a person helping you to grow forward in life.

FOR LOVE…

I think of the ideal love relationship as being a really good friendship, with added physical and romantic attraction as the icing on the cake. So for love, I’d include all the above mentioned friendship aspects, and then add to them with some of the more attraction producing chart to chart interactions…

LIKE… FIRST I CHECK FOR EVIDENCE THAT SOMEONE IS MY TYPE AND VISE VERSA…

A partner’s planets falling within your 5th, 7th, and 8th houses, or aspecting the rulers of these houses, are what gives you the feeling that someone is your ’type’ in terms of their personality and style. The reverse is also good because it shows how you are your partner’s ‘type’… I look for mutual house related chart interactions with the 5th, 7th, and 8th houses, for indications that we are both good matches for each other in terms of personal taste.

DETAILS TO LOOK FOR…

* The partner’s planets falling into your 5th , 7th or 8th houses. The Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, the Asc, and the angle rulers (especially the rulers of the Asc/Dsc axis) tend to produce the most of chemistry when a partner places these planets in these houses…or when you place them in your partner’s 5th, 7th, or 8th.

In the case of Mars and Jupiter… Mars has an aggressive nature, so It’d probably do better in the 5th and 8th houses (great for passion), then in the 7th , but it depends on people’s personal taste as well. Some might actually like forthright nature of Mars in the 7th through synastry. As for Jupiter… Jupiter’s expansive, optimistic nature seems better suited to the 5th and the 7th houses (great for happy, positive loving feelings between people)… But the 8th house might be a bit too dark and intense for Jupiter. Again personal taste comes into play here too. Jupiter is not a ‘romance’ planet in the traditional sense, rather it makes you really LIKE someone in an innocent, almost childlike kind of way, and want to spoil them.

* Planets in the partner’s chart aspecting the rulers of your 5th, 7th, and 8th houses, and vice versa. If one or two, or even all of these houses in empty in through synastry overlays, it really helps if the house rulers are strongly aspected by the partner’s chart. Actually it just helps period. The conjunction is the most potent. When a partner’s chart aspects the rulers of the 5th, 7th, or 8th houses in your chart, it awakens this area of life for you, and produces ‘chemistry’… The flavor of this chemistry varies in accordance with the theme of the house… flirty, playful romance and inspired adoration with the 5th… Strong feelings of affection and belonging together with the 7th… And an intense, intimate physical and emotional bond with the 8th…. Again, aspects from the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, the Asc/Dsc axis, and the Asc/Dsc rulers in the partner’s chart to your house rulers, and vice versa, are especially potent.

THEN I CHECK FOR EVIDENCE OF PHYSICAL ATTRACTION… AND OTHER GOOD STUFF…

House related synastry, involving the 5th, 7th, and 8th houses, can show if someone embodies the qualites you find most attractive in a mate. This shows attraction on a psychological level. However, the actual magnetism the pulls you toward someone, good old fashioned physical attraction, is created by planetary interaspects…. Like Venus/Mars, Sun/Moon, Mars/Moon and so on… The same thing with mental and emotional compatibility… It’s shown through planetary interaspects.

DETAILS TO LOOK FOR…

* Any interaspects between the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and the Asc/Dsc axis tend to produce attraction between the sexes… Only the flavor of this attraction varies depending on which planets are involved… Moon/Venus is sensual and affectionate, while Sun/Mars is energetic and passionate, and so on… My personal favorite is Venus/Mars, it’s like the perfect balance of tenderness and passion. with the conjunction and soft aspects, but I’ll take any of the above aspects as well.

* Pluto is a very sexual planet… Pluto to the Sun or Moon, and especially to Venus or Mars can produce some pretty intense attractions, both on a physical and a psychological level… you want to merge with that person and understand them on the deepest possible level…. I’d look for soft aspects form Pluto to the Sun, Moon, Venus or Mars. They are good for attraction, intimacy and trust.

* Uranus is an exciting and fun planet. I feel it helps to keep relationships interesting and ‘alive’…. I’d look for one or two Uranus aspects to personal planets, as they’re good for mutual fascination and interest in each other.

* I’d also want some mutual Saturn soft aspects to personal planets for commitment, and a sense of responsibility toward each other.

* How the Asc ruler aspects your partner’s chart is important, and affects how your life view and personal expression affects them (I covered the Dsc ruler, in the 5th, 7th, and 8th house section). The Asc ruler conjoining, or making soft aspects to personal planets really helps you to feel free to be yourself with someone…. Even the opposition is not that bad. It just causes you to debate and negotiate with that person, and makes you interested in their perspective…. The Asc ruler aspecting Venus, Mars, and the 5th, 7th and 8th house rulers in your partner’s chart is also very good for attraction.

* The Vertex axis is one of my favorite things to have aspected in synastry. It really does seem to give the feeling that a person has specifically what you are looking for, and that they are turning your life around…. It feels like fate, or scarily accurate synchronicity… Conjunctions to either end of the axis are the most potent, but I’ve noticed other aspects work as well…. Trines, squares, sextiles, and lets not forget the minor hard aspects which can actually be quite powerful on this axis… The semisquare and sesquiquadrate…. I’ve even noticed that when the Moon transits in sextile to this axis that I can ’feel’ it.

When it comes to synastry I look for personal planets aspecting this axis, but even Saturn or Jupiter will do… I’ve been attracted to Saturn on my antivertex before, so I know it works… Also, if the Asc/Dsc axis, or the Mc/Ic axis conjuncts the Vertex axis in synastry this can be amazing. Aspects to the Vertex axis rulers may also work for a ’fated’ type of feeling as well. A big YES for me for mutual aspects involving the Vertex in synastry.

* Soft aspects from Neptune to personal planets are good for empathy and compassion, they can also make you feel like you're floating through some type of romantic fantasy dreamland with somebody… As long as it’s not over exaggerated in a relationship this can actually be quite fun. I’d look for one or two soft aspects, or conjunctions to personal planets from Neptune in synastry…. With one major exception, I’d prefer to avoid any tight aspects between Mercury and Neptune… I like clear communication.

Love your synastry posts!

Confession: I'm not Lonake.

Mars conjunct Asc, I find to be a sexy aspect. Venus-Asc adds a pleasant ambiance to a relationship minus the sexual & romantic undertones of Sun-Venus. But with Mars-Asc, the Mars person comes across really hot.

IMO, much in the way Scorpio eroticizes everything it touches. Mars sexualizes anything it touches.

When someone has their Asc/Dsc axis conjunct your Vertex, there’ll be something about their image, and attitude towards relationships, that resonates with you on a personally relevant level. They’ll probably fit some fantasy notions, or idiosyncratic preferences, you have about what you’re looking for, need, or are attracted to… You’ll recognize that person as being uniquely special. Vertex people tend to create changes in our life-path and our perspectives. They stick in our minds and are remembered as examples (either good or bad) long after they have departed our lives. This aspect does not guarantee long lasting love… Although, it doesn’t hinder it either….What it does do is make a person compelling and fascinating for you, and often they play a crucial role in why you make the decisions that you make. When Vertex chart interactions are mixed with romance this person will profoundly affect you as an example of what you do (or in some cases don’t) desire and need in a partner. They shape your vision of love. Whether as part of a short lived affair, or the relationship that you stay with for life… These people are pivotal in your world somehow.

Hope that helps.

Thank you
I also meant what Vertex/Antivertex axis is in comparison to Asc/Dsc(sorry I wasn't more clear) : we all know how Asc/Dsc turns out to work. But,many like to expand on their perception what Vertex/Antivertex is really about,so I wanted to hear your take on this
