My best friend and her husband share a Moon-Neptune trine and sextile in synastry, though the sextile is a tad wide (4-5°).

He was in love with her from the get-go, something she never even realized.
He never asked for anything from her, just was around her all the time, as a friend, supported her and helped her through two nasty separations.

One day he gave her a ring and proposed to her, saying that he would marry her the minute she wanted to, but that he would never push her into anything, just wanting to let her know that he really loved her and wanted to be with her, and was prepared to wait until she was ready, and even if not, he would still love her and then be just a friend to her.

They got married 7 years ago, and now have two cute little kids, with the third being on his way.
It`s not always been easy, but they have a strong feeling of compassionate and gentle bonding, not the great passion, but just a "connection", that sees them through the rough times.

It probably helps, too, that his Jupiter conjuncts her Moon exactly, and interestingly their firstborn son has his Sun exactly on her Moon and his Jupiter.

My boyfriend and I have my Neptune conjunct his Mars and ASC, and his Neptune conjunct my sun/square my Jupiter and moon.

It's def romantic and lots of eye contact, staring, lovey-dovey romantic comments towards each other/caresses/PDA. Normally stuff neither one of us are admittedly into.

We are still a new relationship (approx 3 months), so there may be more I haven't discovered yet. But I find out connection highly romantic and intuitive. Like we just get each other very easily, without needing real words.

Like Ceridwen brought up, however, we do have a lot of other aspects which can be contributing factors. My Scorp Mercury trines his Cancer moon, and we have a DW of Venus-Jupiter.

Ahh.. Yeah I can see your point.. But if you have some postive aspects with someone, it can be totally different.. But yes you do have to be extra careful of Neptune..
Is your H7 ruler or Neptune have hard aspects to it in your natal?

Is anyone willing to share romantic neptune stories?

I will later when I get to my computer.

I think neptune influences add a certain romanticity of any application (among othe things).

Yes, this feeling happened to me twice when t-Neptune in my 5th opposed my natal Venus. (I have natal venus trine neptune) And when t-venus opposed neptune too.

I think when you have natal contact ven-nep ,you will feel this t-aspect more than any others who doesn't .

It's not real feeling , but I think it's good to start a realationship with a good person who ever definitely not your type but a good one that you 'll never interested from the first glimpse.

Imo.
