Libras put up a big front, trust me. They act strong and charming on the outside but they really cant be without a significant other and they need a group of friends at least. they will stay with someone who doesnt make them happy and who is horrible for them just because they cant be alone, same with the group of friends. Libras are sweethearts, but trust me the outer strength and the outer harmony and how they look like they got it all together is a front. They have pretty low self esteem at the end of the day. That's been my experience anyway. Unfortunately, I can say the same for cancers but it is much less true for us, only in extreme circumstances i think, when life has been horrendously crappy to us or something. I just feel like libras put on a way better front lol.

Generally, libras and cancers feel the same way though, as far as worrying to much about pleasing other people.

That's a conversation stopper. I want to say why this isn't right and is wrong on multiple levels but I feel like I'm being dismissed as a liar before I even begin and so I just can't bother.

I knew a Pisces like that. When he lived with me I had to do about everything for him, or make sure he did it himself. And it wasn't that he was lazy it was just that he was easily distractible & lived more in his imagination than the real world and would rather not deal with mundane matters if he could help it, and thus a procrastinator.

Libras can be indecisive and take forever to decide whether or not to do something (or what exactly to do) but once the decision is made they don't need help. Of course Librans may very well charm someone else into taking care of it instead.

Do u think the women are the same?

Offhand I can think of only 1 Pisces woman and she was pretty similar. She told me once that she couldn't be alone with her thoughts, that she had to have noise, so if no one was around she'd put on music or watch TV (or failing that write letters, call people, send emails, etc), but she much preferred to be around other people and she was always miserable alone. Come to think of it she fits my definition of co-dependent by trying to find guys to save as well (so they'd never leave her as she hoped they'd realize they'd never function as well without her, and she also said something along the lines that she didn't think a guy who didn't have severe problems would put up with her clinginess).

But I don't recall her ever being a procrastinator.

It's just my experience,
PixieJane. It's not set in stone of course. My opinions have been known to change abruptly anyway (mercury opp uranus), so i am open minded.

I don't see the co-dependency in any of the Libras I've known. My father was a Libra and his favorite thing to do was read. My sister-in-law is pretty much the same way. I guess they have a knack for making society run smoother and therefore "need" to be around people to show what they are made of, as an artist needs paint or whatever.

I've seen more co-dependency in the water signs.

Capricorns sometimes do not let go of relationships no matter what, because they/we may see break-up as failure. So they may "need" someone, and hang onto them, just to keep up the relationship success story, while not emotionally needing the person at all.

Short & sweet and generally speaking, Librans DO need friends, and typically need a romantic partner (I can take 'em or leave 'em myself), though not necessarily a soul mate. However, it's quite normal (and I fit in with this) that Libra also needs a lot of alone time (Linda Goodman explained this very well) so they simply can't be around people all the time because it throws our scales out of whack and drives us to insanity as much as enforced isolation and shunning does. It's all about balance. And that means we don't need companionship all the time, in fact constantly being around others tends to be toxic to us and would drive most of us to a nervous breakdown.

And I don't see Libra staying with someone who brings her down. She may very well procrastinate a long time before cutting that person out of her life, and she's likely to make an attempt to see things from her tormentor's POV, but Libra loves to feel good and also at least partially in control and so they'll get rid of someone who doesn't provide that for them (one vice some Libras have is that they can be the master of rationalization when they really want to justify something, like getting rid of someone who's bringing them down and keeping their scales out of whack, so even if she feels some sense of obligation or can genuinely see the other person's PoV in tormenting her she'll still come up with a reason why that obligation has become null and void and get rid of him/her while trying to convince herself she's being more than fair). And given that Libra also tends to be social & charming she also tends to have many choices and will gravitate to those who work best for her rather than settling for someone abusive.

And I don't see where the Libra influence would create low self-esteem, especially as many Librans do not. And no, my saying that is not an "act" or "putting on a front."

Of course other astrological influences also modify the sun sign as do non-astrological forces so I don't find it hard to believe you've met Librans as you've described, but that doesn't mean it's typical, and claiming it is strays from mainstream astrology. Likewise I knew a Libra who spent many years as a hermit with only animals for company and she said she sometimes missed that (though she agreed she sometimes missed people when she was a hermit, too).

Scorpios go out and do things.

So today my bro wanted me to make a call on his behalf coz he was getting billed for Internet usage on his cell. I make the call and say my brother wants to speak with someone regarding a billing problem and chucked the phone to him. He got mad at me after lol!
