Evolved meaning someone who recognizes their flaws and tries to work on it vs unevolved someone who is in total denial & feels victimized by the situation per se. It's everyone's fault, etc.

I was always told that if you find yourself attracting the same negative thing/person, maybe it's underlying negative trait of those things that is within yourself that you need to work on. It's so much harder to see the work in progress we are all meant to be when your on the inside but when someone else has those same negative traits and you're the one on the outside, it gives a different perspective.
