Ive been some what reading up on Magi astrology.
From my understanding, they only consider tight orbs.. 3orbs or less..
Also they look at both Tropical and Heliocentric charts for linkages. Parallels are included.

Here are planets and what Magi Astrology considers special linkages.

If any one wants to add in any.. Please feel free..

Venus/Chiron = Magical Linkage (sign of marriage)
Neptune/Chiron=LifeTime Linkage (meaning long term)
Sun/Chiron = Linkage of Trust
Sun/Venus= Linkage of Cupid
Venus/Pluto = sexual linkage
mars/pluto= sexual linkage
venus/mars= sexual linkage

Also the aspects are checked to see if applying or separating.
Applying aspects are considered stronger.
