Topic: Popular extroverted people vs introverted ones:which aspects, signs placements ?

Which aspects, placements, house/sign emphasis would indicate someone who is popular, enjoys it and can not spend a single day locked at home? I'm rather introverted, quite a bit of a loner actually. I don't have that many friends and being out to parties and all isn't really my thing. I like spending time at home with family or friends. I'm a cancer ascendant with a lot of Capricorn in my chart except for venus in aqua, mars in sag and jupiter in cancer (oh and of course scorpio pluto) Most of my planets fall in my 5th/6th/7th house.
My sister is the complete opposite of me, she is always out and about with friends, going out whenever she can. She has to go out at least once a day and has many, many friends.
She's a sag asc with a taurus sun in 5th house. She also has a venus-moon opposition that lays exactly on her MC/IC axis with moon conjuncts MC. So what sign/house/aspects plays a part in making someone an extrovert or an introvert?

sun conjunct venus seems to be one.. they are very charming and likeable. I've done quite a few charts and seen this with people who are very likeable/popular. IP: Logged |

Yes now that you mention it I also had noticed that sun-venus, men especially, are very charming and well liked by everyone. I knew one who just got the sympathy of evryone around but he was bit reserved, maybe thsi was his cancer moon.Another prominent aspect I found in a chart of a woman whom I consider to be the queen at bringing people together is a sun-jupiter exact conjunction in gemini. This is her most exact aspect and they aren't aspected by any other planets. Well anywhere she goes, she brings sunshine and laughter. IP: Logged |

I'm an introvert, but a highly social one, which is an odd mix. I'm not outgoing, but I like to be around people that I like and spend time with them.Sun, Merc, SN, MC in Libra, 11th (I use whole signs). Venus in the 12th conjunct Pluto in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

I am not quite sure but I belief it's aspects touching the sun and/or asc. Example comparing my mother's chart with mine; were both complete opposites but we have a odd way of drawing people to us very easily; she's very extroverted and I am very introverted. We both have sun square mars and sun semi-sextile venus but she has Uranus in libra and Pluto in Virgo conjunct her sun, sun conjunct her asc and Neptune in Scorpio sextile her sun. She draws people to her and she loves it, yet when I draw people to myself I hate it.
While I have my asc, eros, and psyche sextile my sun, Eros and psyche conjunct my asc, Gemini in the first house.IP: Logged |

I've read that if you have more planets at the bottom half of the chart there is tendency to have an introvert personality and if majority of planets at the upper half one tends to be an extrovert.IP: Logged |

Omg me me me! I'm supah extroverted and whenever I'm out and about in town, I ALWAYS see other people. Like today I was hanging out with Adelle and Jordan and I saw Emma, Leaven, and this one girl who doesn't like me (lol)! It was exciting 'cause I love attention and being the center of attention, so I waltzed over, said big hellos, gave everyone hugs and sh!t like that.Bottom heavy chart, but I do have a Third House Sun, singleton Mars in Leo, and singleton Mercury in Libra, so I guess that could explain why I'm quite extraverted hahaha! Upper half heavy chart with a stellium of planets in Sagittarius in the 11th house but I'm VERY introverted & don't have a lot of friends =\ I think the reason why I'm introverted is because of saturn in the 1st house. Totally true about sun conjunct venus I know someone who has that aspect & he can't even stay alone even for a day, really popular person, gets along with everyone.IP: Logged |

Introverts are said to have planets/sun/moon in houses 1 through 6, extroverts in houses 7 through 12, but also check house rulers.

Possibly charming and likeable, but I've also noticed that those with Sun conjunct Venus can be very full of themselves, too. They're just "too charming" for anyone to notice and object to how sweet they are on themselves. IP: Logged |

Hmm.. maybe you're onto something with the mars and mercury singleton! A singleton planet is supposed to be more prominent right in the chart f someone so maybe mars and mercury just give you this urge and ease to communicate actively with people? I noticed a same pattern with the few people I know who know lots of people, have tons of friends and are always out somewhere. The girl with the sun-jupiter exact conjunction has a mercury in late taurus sextile mars in cancer. My sister has a gemini mercury (6th house though) which opposites her jupiter (jupiter being her chart ruler)but this could maybe explain her need for communication by going out and meeting lots of people? A guy I know is, well the most popular guy I've ever seen. Well somehow he brings attention to him (he had a lot of female admirers) though he didn't seem to go the extra mile for it and can strike a conversation with just anyone. He also has many many friends,somehow everyone know him (at least in high school everyone knew him or everyone had heard about him)
His mercury is in aries and his mars in gemini and they sextile each other. Also his mercury is square jupiter and saturn. IP: Logged |

I'm an exception to all these rules... I have Sun conjunct Venus & Jupiter (all in Leo, in the 9th) and I have only 2 planets in houses 1 thru 6, the rest in 7-12 (including a stellium in the 9th) and I'm the poster child for loners, lol. People LOVE me and want to spend time with me, usually, but I hate being around ppl for long, it makes me... emotionally tired. IP: Logged |

What signs are they in, besides Leo? Leo is naturally in the 5th, so it could be considered an introverted sign, regardless of house, imo. IP: Logged |

Same. But I think I am a lot more outgoing and not a home body. It's just that I know I am an introvert because I get slightly drained. In tests I do not score borderline. I am definitely an introvert. IP: Logged |

I have sun conjunct venus without any additional aspects. I dont think this alone would make people extroverted. I consider myself somewhere in between. I think I'm generally liked by others in a group. But I think Sun/Venus conjunct makes it more like not easily approachable. Like you would see them shine in a distance, if you will. IP: Logged |

I have this very wide like 10 degrees. They are in the 7th house. Also sun and Venus trine Jupiter. I thought the more feminine signs the more introvert u are as wel since they are the yin polarity. I have mostly feminine signs. IP: Logged |
