A man's sun conjunct the women's moon is one of the most fortunate aspects.

My dad has Moon in Scorpio, Venus in Virgo. He has a type: emotionally volatile/expressive, pushy, lazy in a domestic sense & HIGH maintenance. Young, with plenty of Ego or strong Leo.His most meaningful relationships has been with women with contacts to his moon sign...& the #4 somewhere in their numerology. IP: Logged |

I think it’s also important two look at the house and aspects of the Moon and Venus in men and not just the sign.I agree about a man’s Venus placement representing his concept of beauty and allure on a women, while his Moon represents the psychological aspects of the type of women he’s looking to get serious with. Sometimes these to things blur a little. But in general, Venus is what excites him and turns him on, while the Moon is what he needs and must have support from a women. In my case, as women, I’ve got Sun in Capricorn in the 1st house, and Mars in Leo in the 9th house. Interestingly, my Dad is an Aries with Sun in the 10th house! Anyway, I must admit that I do need some Cap-like characteristics in a man…. He has to have his act together, and I need to be able to trust him to be responsible and loyal… That being said, he doesn’t need to have that much Cap in his chart to attract me. A simple Saturn aspect to a personal planet will suffice. I’m also extremely attracted to Aries, and definitely feel I need a guy that is direct and straightforward. Hate mind games. Aries is also the sign on my 5th house cusp and yes I’m very attracted to them by sign. Mars does seem to indicate the external ‘style’ I find most attractive on a guy. I like confident, outgoing, dashing types, and I do seem to have a thing about hair on men. I like thick dark hair that is a little longer then average (hate crew cuts), and hangs around his face. Some women might find longish hair on a guy annoying, but I’m really attracted to it. Mars is in the 9th and I’m really attracted to Sagittarians, and love it when a guy has seen and done a lot and has something interesting to say for himself, and I really love it when a guy is funny. This is enhanced by the fact that Jupiter is in the 7th house, and Mercury rules my 7th house cusp in Sagittarius. I think for men the Moon and Venus work a little like this. If a guy has Moon in Leo he might not necessarily marry a Leo Sun, but she may have planets in the 5th, or the Sun might conjunct the Asc, or be strongly aspected. There will probably be something Leo-like about her chart even if she has no planets in that sign. Another thing to consider, is that a man having Venus or the Moon in Leo may enjoy having his 5th house activated more then average in synastry. And if he had an Aquarius Moon or Venus, he may enjoy having the 11th house activated in synastry more then average. That’s because when he has the house related to the Moon or Venus activated in synastry it brings the issues and themes connected to that sign to ‘life’ in that relationship.

In my experience, men tend to be physically attracted to their moon sign. I see it all the time with Sagittarius moons. Every single Sag moon man I know is attracted to women from another country or ethnicity. I don't see the attraction with their Venus signs. My bf is attracted like a Sag (his moon), not like a Cappy (his Venus). If anything, they behave like their Venus signs in relationships, but that's not what gets their goat, figuratively speaking.IP: Logged |

It depends on the individual. I have noticed some 'blurring' with regards to the Venus is the 'physical type' Vs Moon is the 'psychological type' thing. There is definitely some wiggle room there... It's not a black and white thing. Some men also might resonate more with the Moon then Venus, or vice versa, depending on their chart. Or they might even resonate with the Moon during one phase of life and then Venus during another. Most men seem to like a combination of both in terms of the women's personality and style (although not always by sign). IP: Logged |

Aquacheeka,Your guy has a Capricorn Venus... What's going on with his 10th house? Sign 10th house cusp, planets in house, position of the ruler? This may show more insight into his taste. IP: Logged |

I'm most impressed by aspects. There are more possibilities here, - If for example his Moon makes a square to Mercury he will attract the 'intellectual' type. - If he has a Venus/Neptune aspect he will be attracted by a woman who also has a Venus/Neptune aspect. - If his Moon makes an aspect to his Uranus, and his Moon also makes an aspect to *her* Uranus this could mean attraction. Can you agree with that Lotis? IP: Logged |

“- If for example his Moon makes a square to Mercury he will attract the 'intellectual' type.” Definitely…. Maybe Gemini or Virgo planets, strong Mercury in her chart, planets in the 3rd or 6th house strong in her chart… or maybe she just strongly aspects his 3rd house (strong intellectual connection in the relationship) or his Mercury (same). “- If he has a Venus/Neptune aspect he will be attracted by a woman who also has a Venus/Neptune aspect.” Sure. Also might be drawn to just a strong Neptune/Pisces/12th house influence in the chart in general. Both having Venus aspecting Neptune has a nice symmetry to it though, similar taste/wants in relationship. “- If his Moon makes an aspect to his Uranus, and his Moon also makes an aspect to *her* Uranus this could mean attraction.” I think it could make it seem as if she is giving him the type of experience his is looking for in relationships with women. If a guy has an Aquarius Venus, Venus aspecting Uranus, or even Venus in the 11th house…. And he meets a lady who aspects his chart with her Uranus, she may give him that excitement, eccentricity, or quirkiness, he is looking for in his relationships with women.

Opposites can attract or maybe as long as the moon is in the same element? I have a scorpio moon and am dating a leo moon, water/fire so we can learn alot from one another. But at the same time we both are fixed elements so there is some common ground.IP: Logged | |
