I understand men find attraction from Venus signs. Do they marry their moon signs? Or is it that they tend to marry similar personality to their moon signs? Is it the same for women? (attracted to mars but marry moon) IP: Logged |

Yeah.. something along these lines..
I would say they have a 'desire' to be in a serious relationship with a woman who appeals to their Moon. The DC is more directly connected to marriage. IP: Logged |

In my opinion - it is about a similar personality..
It does not mean they will marry someone with that particular Sun sign or Moon sign necessarily.90% of the married couples I know - do not have a Sun/Moon conjunction. It is a nice aspect to have - when it happens.. but I wouldn't say it is that common. With a Leo Moon - he would be attracted to a woman he sees as confident, assertive, warm-hearted and romantic. If the woman exhibits a lot of Leo traits, then a Leo Moon man will be more likely to marry her. I think he would also find women who have a lot of fire in their chart to also be desirable. Aquarian-dominated women may also be attractive since it is the opposite sign to Leo. The point is that the woman DOES NOT have to specifically have a Leo moon; she just needs to have Leo or other fiery traits. For example, capricorn and scorpio are strong in my chart. I have a capricorn moon and capricorn rising. I do attract capricorns and scorpios who have Taurus moons despite not having any planets in Taurus (though my venus in aries is close to being in taurus...). This may be because I have a lot of capricorn which is the same element as taurus. In addition, my scorpio placements are the opposite sign of taurus, so someone with a taurus moon would find this attractive. For women, they tend to be attracted to their mars sign, but end up marrying the sun sign. It's been said that the sun represents the father and the moon represents the mother. Well my mother's moon was capricorn my father's sun sign, and my father's moon Sagittarius was my mother's Mars sign in the 4th house. But I think there needs to be some connection between both the Venus and Mars signs they didn't work out; her being a Venus Leo and Mars Sagittarius and He being a Venus Pisces and Mars Scorpio. it doesn't neccesarily mean you have to have taurus planets,you just have to have some taurus like traits. for example i also have the taurus moon and interested in finding commited/stable women who know what they want and their feelings wont change at the drop of a hat.also affectionate. but anybody has the potential to be these things, they dont have to have taurus placements. I have libra moon and venus gemini. I have never dated a gemini. On the other hand i have known and been involved with alot of libras i seem to have an affinity with them. My current gf is a libra sun conjunct my moon. Other serious gfs were libra ac or moons IP: Logged |

My dad's M0on/ascendant are in Taurus. His Venus is in Cancer. He married my m0m who's a Scorp sun/taurus m0on/cap venus. His M0on, Venus and desc d0n't aspect her planets but are in the same sign(/opp sign) as her planets.
When he met my friend who's a cancerian, he was like "this is how a w0man should be(dress up and stuff)." I kn0w a libra m0on/ virgo venus guy who's in a 7 year l0ng relati0nship with a virgo female. I d0n't have her chart so I d0n't kn0w if she has planets in Libra or n0t. She's t0o serious, clingy, possessive, suspicious and DEMANDING for an air sign. He wants to marry her but she doesn't see a future with him. My aqua m0on/venus male friend proposed to my leo sun/venus/mars female friend. She said n0.
My ex was a capric0rn m0on/scorpio venus. My aqua asc attracted his scorp venus. The rest of my planets repulsed him. Fr0m what he said, he wanted a capric0rn girl. He married 0ne. Then, there was this gem venus/ pisces m0on guy who wanted t0 marry me. I'm a sag sun/ virgo m0on. We had multiple crazy grand crosses in synastry! He felt t0o much of attracti0n. I felt n0thing though all my r0mantic planets and sn0de were activated. when it c0mes to w0men, umm... I d0n't kn0w if we marry our m0on or mars sign. My Mars and Sun(7h ruler) are c0njunct in sag in the 11h. My M0on's in Virgo in the 8th. The only guy I was close to falling in l0ve with was a Virgo. My m0on was c0nj his Sun. But he was so n0t my type. I l0ok for fiery guys. He was watery/earthy. The only fire he had was a leo venus. The rati0nal me would never marry him! The irrati0nal me might. I've been with other earthy guys and they t0o didn't fit my ideal man image. However, all my exs had their Sun sext/trine my m0on.
The only guy who could keep me happy was an aries m0on, leo asc, sag merc. My 8h m0on was sext his scorp sun. I wouldn't have married him either but he didn't make me feel stuck atleast and we laughed like maniacs.
This 0ne guy I d0n't mind marrying does activate my m0on. I feel it. He has to be a virgo with a fire asc aspecting Saturn. He fits my mars sign t0o though. IP: Logged |

I have Pluto and Saturn in my seventh and married a Capricorn/Scorpio personality. He and I have been married for about ten years now.
I also have Venus aspecting Pluto & Saturn.
I also have Mars in Leo aspecting Saturn. I think the Mars in Leo in me likes that he is the strong "alpha-male"IP: Logged |

Interesting... Would that theory work best in opposites? Example
Partner 1:
ASC taurus/ DC scorpio
Partner 2:
ASC scorpio/ DC taurus And if a man has moon in gemini, he would be more inclined to a gemini/cancer?

In a man's chart Venus is what he likes as far as a women's appearance, what he thinks is "Beauty". The man's Moon however indicates what kind of behavior he likes in a women, her general attitude and nature.------------------

i agree with this and, imo, it's the venus sign that will capture and hold a mans interest for quite a while. then, when the relationship starts to get serious they will definitely look to their moon/comfort zone and see if their partner expresses what they find familiar. whether you match their exact moon sign or not doesn't seem as important as whether you have the traits that they find desirable in a long-term mate. although, imo, some signs will match better with others and have a higher chance of success for long-term compatibility. as an example, my bf and his mother are exceptionally close to one another; her sun sign (leo) is his moon sign, so he really likes their relationship and is looking for someone similar to mom :-) i'm not a leo, but as a libra sun i have enough similar traits to keep him happy, for now at least IP: Logged |
