Can two people have a long lasting relationship, even if in the synastry there are no venus mars connection between the two charts? (there is with venus and mars with pluto, but is that enough?

Do you have saturn aspects as well?

Pluto is imho better than mars venus. It is a soulful attraction.

yeah there a saturn aspects. My saturn trines his venus and mars both at 0.5 degrees, and his saturn is semisquare my venus and mars by 1 and 2 degrees resectively. Is this good?

It will just lack some passion. Out of all the synastry I e experienced while dating, there is nothing in comparison to Venus - Mars conjunction. But do you guys have any Moon - Mars aspects? That can be passionate as well.

Sun - Moon connections are really powerful, especially the conjunction. Its similar to a Venus - Mars aspect because it represents the masculine and the feminine coming together.

Not necessarily. Is his Moon aspected well or does he seem in tune wih his Moon sign?

But for instance the Venus - Mars conjunction with my bf, he is Venus and I'm Mars. But he is a Taurus, and His Venus is in Aries and I have Aries mars so it works.

his moon is a singleton in Taurus, and its doesnt have any major aspects to any planets. is that bad for us!!?? I have a lot of earth in me, Sun in Taurus, moon in Virgo, Netptune in capricorn.

No it's not a bad thing and you got to remember that synastry is just triggering certain things between you and if his Moon isnt aspected it means that your triggering his Moon and he probably is naturally drawn to you because you exude the qualities that make him feel comfortable.

Plus you both have Earth moons.

I've only had the Venus/Mars conjunction once, though it was pretty loose. I find that Libra Venus on my Pluto is the most passionate aspect for me, but then I have Ve sq Pl natally. I think it depends on your chart to some extent. For instance, my Venus and Mars have no major aspect so it feels good, but Ve/Pl conjunction feels gooooood.

I agree that you don't need Venus and Mars connection in Synastry, if you have Pluto connection to Venus. Pluto connection to Mars only will only be good for sex.

Can anyone tell me something more about the aspects that I share with my partner? Do we share future together? Saturn is a ***** in my opinion, esp. with Saturn trine Venus - WE ALWAYS FORGIVE EACH OTHER NO MATTER WHAT AND WE CAN ALWAYS RELY ON EACH OTHER. I Can't shake him off. My planets are on the left. I'd appreciate any help I can get here. We don't have any major aspects but our bond is really strong. HELP! Please explain this relationship to me
Sun Opposition Jupiter 3.46 -73
Mercury Opposition Jupiter 0.24 -101
Mercury Trine Saturn 0.34 89
Mars Trine Mars 0.15 93
Saturn Trine Venus 2.29 60
Saturn Conjunction Uranus 3.15 72
Neptune Trine Sun 3.27 55

I'm not that into the conjunction. I've only had their Mars on my Venus - not the other way around.

I much prefer the opposition.

No Venus/Mars can still be OK.. I mean there are other aspects for sexual attraction. Venus/Mars are not the only ones.

How about a Mars falling in the other persons 8th or 5th house. I read that can help with sparks.

I have no Venus/Mars contacts between me and my bf and the physical/sexual energy between us is intense!!

But we have a DW Venus/Pluto and his Pluto trine my Mars. This intensity developed through our relationship, so it wasn't infatuation at first sight lol :P

..and his Mars falls into my 8th House.

I had a conjunction between my Venus and ex's Mars and it really wasn't fiery or passionate. Sex was so bad its the reason why we broke up

With someone I really am considering falling for right now, in our synastry we don't have a Venus-Mars connection. We have a lot of sexual chemistry between us that's very hard for me to ignore.

IMO there is more to a sexual, strong connection than just Venus-Mars. The guy I like and I have all of the following aspects in synastry, some double-whammys too, that seem to contribute:

Moon-Mars, in sensual signs like Cancer and Scorpio, which can provide romantic and sexual passion. Moon-Pluto, which lead to strong emotional ties that could increase the chances of a serious relationship, emotional exchanges and long-term bonding beyond the obsessions that might come up. And Pluto-Venus, the classic for sexual magnetism and attraction but also control over the partner in synastry/composite... it can increase the passion beyond the any sense of desperation and self-destruction.

wow guys thanks for the responses! guess what, the guy I was interested in has disappeared! I havent seen him in months, I used to see him on the train on the way to work...(i think its the Sun, mars, and venus in Pisces which makes him swin away!) lol so no hope now. But its good to know you dont necessarily need mars/venus connections to have long relationships!

Your influence and "restrictive" quality on his is a little bit easier than his on you. Any saturn influence with a personal planet ensures staying capacity. So this is definitely good for stability.

With my current interet i have my Mars square his Venus by 5 degrees, so wide, but that feels alright, though, there is another things going on, like Venus/Pluto, Eros/Aphrodite, etc.

With my first love i had my Venus his Mars conjunction by sign, my Mars opposite his Venus by 2 degrees. That was hot, but the abovementioned is hotter. So i guess not the Venus/Mars contacts are the most important here.
