We are both Venus Square Pluto natally.
In synastry, his Venus is trine my Pluto so I need to try to be chill, but it's hard. Plus, my venus conjunct his Neptune...

Any anecdotes or advice on the matter? I don't want to terminate the relation, I just want it to be platonic and more transparent. Hopeless??

Was like gilded cage. People would notice our chemistry,and feel uncomfortable about it,like a peep-show they described it .You want to give in,but it feels bit wrong,like it is all game,but you can't help it. Undoing,but it can be rewarding if you know your breaks... eventually

if you are the venus person you shouldn't worry about it sextile isn't so bad as square.

Pluto is control, venus is love. Here we have love being in conflict with the need for control. So that the feeling of love makes you feel OUT of control, so much so, that you try to control each other and enagage in major power struggles, as well as dont enter the relationship for fear of losing control of yourself.

Hmm... I'd think it would be the other way round, with Pluto having the upper hand. Since it's the planet of magnetism and in Libra (Venus' sign), I would think Venus would be drawn to Pluto, magnetically attracted. and that Pluto could easily break free from Venus whenever they wanted to.
