I've had a couple of romances with Leo Suns and I'm a Leo Sun and honestly I don't think they care about your hair as much as you'd think, I know they can't stand tons of make up on women though. Here is the hair I'm taking about:
Haha no it's oK, I'm somewhat feminist myself and I fully support healthy feminism. Your comment made me Laugh aloud and smile so I'm actually happy you posted it, it alleviated some of me unnaturally serious tensions. That's a great point, I think if I just came out and said after we start dating (hopefully...OTL) 'Yeah I'm so cutting it and there's nothing you can do' he'll actually appreciate my independent streak. Like I said he's very Mercurial, I'm persuading him to let me do his birth chart 'for fun' (hehe, really so I can get some insights on him but he'll probably not think that, lol) so I'm 80% sure he'll have some Gemini in him too. I think he'll respect I want to think for myself. He said I should ask other guys and that was just his opinion so he wasn't mean about it, just straightforward. I'm just really sensitive, I guess. And the Mia Farrow look for Rosemary's Baby IMO is so cute and just gorgeous! I've never had my hair that short but it looks lovely for her. I'm a bit jealous. IP: Logged |

Yes its an outdated thought. Hair = a womans beauty or something like that... ive had short hair and i personally dont like it on myself. I think its harder to maintain... You cant put it in a messy bun on the dash and go. If you can pull it off, then go for it... But yes better wait until he is hooked... Line and sinker *snickers* i remember when i cut my hair short *sigh* the trauma lol... i really thought i looked like a boy who wore earrings and played with make up lol... But my guy reassured me that altho he loved my long hair, it was only hair and it would grow back and now i know for future referance... Scorpios/virgos dont hold anything back lol. But i like the idea of growing out your bangs... Maybe start small and gradually cut more and more length off so its not a total shock to him?! Good luck with this guy being in love is so beautiful i love the early stages. So dreamy. He has: Asc scorpio Sun virgo Moon gemini Venus scorpio Mars leo quote: Originally posted by sweet-scorpion: I'm trying to grow out my bangs to a longer length, they were baby length before and looked cute that way but they've hit mid-forehead now and it kind of sucks, lol. Thanks for the reassurance! Thanks for making me feel better. At least I know I DO actually look good with shorter hair, it just feels weird, the idea of cutting it off for various reasons, like loss of femininity - though it sounds ludicrous writing it out, since it kind of is... you shouldn't equate femininity with hair length most of the time anyway. It's just a thing I'm going to have to figure out with time. And with the guy, lol. As I said I hope I can catch him first, and then coddle him into liking the shorter hair. :') Usually I don't care about guys' opinions but I'm sick of being A-L-O-N-E and I found a good one this time, haha.

Well if he has Gem in his chart then he'll like the short hair. The Leo guy I'm referencing had Gemini Moon, and Leo Sun in the 3rd H. He probably pictured you with short and sassy hair and his fantasy was finally realized! IP: Logged |

Hi... I would like to add my two cents worth. I have a male Leo friend who is married. His wife's hair is short. He has made numerous comments about my long hair. My sister has long hair and he has complemented her also. In talking, I told him I was thinking of cutting my hair. He looked at me and said "Please don't...I consider it a marriage penalty when women cut their hair." He said he realizes women get busy having children, etc. and it is easier to maintain at a shorter length. But...he misses his wife's long hair. I think, in general, men like longer hair. BUT...I would do what is right for me. What makes me feel better about myself and not rely on any man to sway me. They either like ME or they don't. Did I cut my hair? Yes. It's still long but now has layers. I love it. It is now luxuriously sexy, shiny, flowing, glistens in the sunlight, and makes men drool wherever I go!! *POOF* Woke from that dream!! hahahahahaha... Just felt like adding a funny! ------------------ ♥ Love is the irresistible desire to be desired irresistibly ♥ IP: Logged |

Why do you need male opinions? It's YOUR hair, not theirs. If you like your hair, keep it. It's one thing to help someone look nicer if their looks are really bad and keeping them from goals in life (like on the show "What Not to Wear"), but it's another thing entirely to just be bossy and controlling. Someone who tries to tell you how to do your hair and orders you to look a certain way is probably a bossy control freak in other areas of life, too. And this is coming from someone who is pro-long hair. Even though I'm not a fan of short hair on a lot of women, (a) it looks nice on some; (b) I don't think that all women with it look ugly, just when it's cut or style in a bad way--again, even though it's not my preference, it can and does look nice when it's done right.
