I really don't. I can get mad or even "over" a friend or someone but I don't hold grudges. Even to people I should. I certainly can get angry quickly but it's blows over just as fast most of the time but always eventually. I wonder if the modality of Mars has anything to do with it. I'd think I'd be more likely to hold grudges because I'm triple fixed but nope.

I have Aries Mars.

I can be mad at someone for a long time. If I express it (sag moon) I'm over it. If I don't, anger can linger for awhile.

I will remember and maybe even keep tabs, but I don't actively hold a grudge against someone. I can get ticked easy, but I have a terrible time expressing it outwardly, so it usually just smoulders and goes away, lol! Time to time though, I might be in a bad mood which is really just me giving people cold treatment...

I'm kind of the same way..and I also have Sag moon.

I have a hot, quick temper and I have a tendency to get violent and crazy, but after that happens I cool down VERY fast. I can hold grudges, but I typically prefer not to because it kills my energy reserves lol.

Mars in Pisces. Lots of Pluto/Scorpio action in my chart as well.

Forever. I remember precise moments when certain ppl crossed me when I was a child, lol (and I'm almost 33). The weird thing is... I don't care about it, it's not a question of forgiveness, it doesn't hurt at all, I just can't forget. I have Mars in Cancer.

Sag Mars for me, and no I don't.

I have a lot of Sag energy that can make me really blunt sometimes (though my Libra energy normally counters that, but not always, and I was told once that my Libra energies can make my bluntness especially devastating at times because I'll take the trouble to be absolutely clear, calm in presentation, AND to state it in the way most understandable to the other person, and that can be much harder for someone to overlook than a Jerry Springerish suggestion or even a snarky, "do you know anyone else conceived by anal sex or is it just you?"). But it's difficult for me to get angry, and when I do it normally passes. I can be very airy over this (that is, it's more mental than emotional so say someone poses a threat to me then I'll be angry until that threat is removed, but once removed I'll toss the anger aside as pointless and no fun, and if it lingers then I usually find a good workout gets it out of me). I tend to find the funny side of things, too, even when I'm annoyed.

And then I developed an even thicker skin living with an Aries Mars (Aries Deluxe at that). At first it was surreal in like how she'd bawl me out and then 15 minutes later when I'm still mad she's like, "What, you're still mad about that?" I tested her, and to be fair she dropped her grudges real fast, too, and expected others to do the same. So I adjusted and that helped me to develop a thicker skin. I have to be careful because some people DON'T get over it and can cause problems and living with her made me forget that at times.

The absolutely worst person I knew well for grudges was a Libra with heavy Scorpio placements. She had a very hard time remembering anything pleasant but she could tell you vivid things from childhood that she still seethed over (when she was in her 50s). She even had quasi-memories of being yelled at for messing up her diaper as an infant and hating her mother for it 50 years later, and no, I'm not making that up. It's actually scary how she remembers and how the pain and anger of such things never goes away for her (and she's aware enough that she's tried everything she can to stop letting these things fester in her and release her anger harmlessly as she doesn't want it). What's worse is that she can't remember her own wrong doing and I even called her the "amnesiac" because she'd deny things she said & did and seem to really believe it (I thought once of starting to record her when she said things so I could play it back later but realized if I did then that would be one more thing for her to seethe over). I think her Libra Sun is perhaps the only reason she doesn't secretly poison people and the like as she does try to be fair (but when she's not she can come up with some brilliant--well, for her anyway--rationalizations for why she actually is being fair and how to creatively word it to others so at least they'll think she's fair, and I think she actually believes her own lies). Unfortunately, throwing her scales out of whack is a good way to get on her **** list, and she will never, ever forgive or forget...

Leo Mars (retrograde).

I couldn't hold a grudge if I tried. I'm sometimes over things in like ten minutes, sometimes an hour, never more than a night.

However, I have a really bad temper, so it's not a pretty sight whenever I first get mad at someone...I've been known to go off on people regardless of where I'm at or who's around.

Depends on the situation. Honestly for me its more of a battle of the will power. Example. I am Cancer sun/Gemini moon with a Taurus mars and my one of my closest cousins is a Capricorn Sun/Cancer moon with a Capricorn Mars. We're born exactly 2.5 years apart her dob is January 18 and mine July 18. At least once a year for many years of our childhood we'd argue with one another and not speak, look or act like the other existed for months at a time, and one time for a full year. Mars in Earth in stubborn sometimes it has nothing to even do with emotions we're just stubborn .

I had an argument with an aqua yesterday where she was judgemental, rude and c0ndescending so I decided to flush her d0wn and if she ever dared approach me, my sag merc would sting. That's all I can think of and do. But I ended up wagging my p0nytail at her within an hour. My elaborate plans went waste.

Am I mentally sick for remembering my grandma (who raised me until the age of 14) telling me, when I was 5 or 6, that she's the only reason I'm alive, that my mother and father didn't want me, but she was scared my mother could die getting an illegal abortion (I was born in Romania, back when it was a communist country and abortions were illegal) and she made her have me? Am I mentally sick for remebering my father telling me, when I was about 10, that my sister could come and pick up the child support money, cause he doesn't care about seeing me? Perhaps I am... But then again, some things, although they don't hurt anymore, I will forever remember, even if other ppl are so ready to gratuitously judge... Just sayin' (I'm just trying to make a point, it's not a guilt trip and I don't need a pity party either)... Sorry for the rant, everybody...

yea and if someone hurts you or betrays you they will do it again usually. alot of people tell me i am small minded for having a no forgiveness policy for cheating, but i dont care what they think.

Sometimes it's good to get to that point - to not care what people think and walk on, and just do what's right for you.

No grudges, but no longer allow abusive people to take up any of your time, or occupy free rental space in your mind.

I've done that, but I don't see that as holding a grudge. To me a grudge is resentment or worse, not simply recognizing someone isn't good for you and cutting them out of your life. Heck, there are people I've cut out of my life that I sincerely wish well, I just realize we're not good for each other. Likewise, I've cut some people out of my life while the memories and feelings were still good because I knew it was only a matter of time that things would get really bad between us if I didn't and I didn't want it to end as badly as it would've if I didn't.

I'm actually alot like that too - fellow Leo Mars'

....when i wrote that I was thinking of a couple of people in particular.

Typically, I brush most slights off and it takes a lot to get me angry and never talking to you again.

Though I will admit, some people, i don't respond to just because i don't like them and not because they hurt me badly or anything (online).

Otherwise, I am cool with most everyone.
