I also agree with this. Have seen it with Mars-Saturn too.

Mars-Pluto conjunct 0°30 in Scorpio 3h

abused - yes.

abusive - no

<---- pacifist

I get mad, but I don't use physical aggression or corporal punishment on anyone... if I hurt someone it is more likely to be myself, never anyone else, so long as I can help it... I use my words to fight if I have to and even then I'm a wuss-puss... I'd rather do something pleasant than waste my time and health on anger.

Forgiveness and acceptance, and harmony are EXTREMELY important concepts to me.

I can barely harm a bug... let alone another human being.

Psychopaths are what they are because they made a decision to be such. Those who let external negative forces/actions influence themselves will eventually be overcome with the same things within themselves.....

Mars-Pluto ocnjunction is a great strength. I will always stand by this... it aids in survival. I don't think I could have lived through some of my most challenging experiences without having this deeply rooted pool of Martian-Pluton relentless, challenge-accepting, never-back-down, always get-back-up energy to push me forward, when maybe emotionally, and mentally I was being drained by whichever experience was trying to get the best of me... It doesn't mean you fight back... it means you stay standing.

That's what I feel about Mars-Pluto conjunction, that's my experience thus far...

If it wasn't for Saturn, Mars-Pluto all in Scorpio, and being a Capricorn.... I am dead certain, I would not be here right now.

The last thing I heard about one of my abusers.... he had a girl chained up to the support posts in our old basement for a week, and he left her there in her own filth, in the cold, and without anything but the bare minimum of water and food.

*shudder*
that.... that could have been me... and we... we were at a much worse place than being chained up and tormented.... he wasn't simply sadistic with me, he was homicidal.

That's all I care to share on this matter.

But, please don't let such articles curb your interest in people with Mars-Pluto aspects, or make you question yourself, (if you have aspects like these) and cause you worry/doubt that you have such potential to be some hideous monster just because you have such a powerful combination.... (not all Venus-Neptune people are delusional, not all Mercury-Uranus people are swindlers or nut jobs either... right) ~ the coupling of higher vibration energies with their pure form personal counterparts has given us some of histories greatest people, not just the wicked ones... right???

Martian-Plutons are good people, I think... some of the strongest, and bravest. And, even if there is a higher occurrence of us having negative life experiences, that only means those people have something we all can learn from, something to teach us, don't you think so as well?

I hope this makes sense... sorry for being verbose again, and thank you all for sharing these articles, and your experiences for the discussion.

I have Mars conjunct Pluto & so does my son. He is also 11 and going through puberty so it has become a battle between two people who are very stubborn and who have bad tempers *when pushed*. I am fine until I think I have been used, abused, discounted, ignored, etc. and then I erupt like a volcano. But it takes a lot of pushing/abuse before I snap. I've never been one to spank them, but I do yell and holler a lot. Then I feel guilty and cry. LOL!

My daughter has Mars opposition Pluto in her chart so yeah... I am sooooo not looking forward to puberty with her. She has been a challenge since she was born (she's an Aries sun too...ack!). She already stomps her feet, slams doors, etc. and she is so headstrong it's hard parenting her. But, the plus side is that NO ONE is going to push her around as an adult.

When really provoked, it's easy to be violent. It happened a few times and people who witnessed it were surprised coz I'm not a violent person. lol

Leo Mars square Scorpio Pluto here!

The anger is righteous and proud.

I have - or used to have, more accurately - a very aggressive streak. I would get a little too rough with other kids when I was younger, and it stayed with me a little too long. It was okay when I was a rough 'n' tumble tomboy in elementary school, but once middle school rolled around, it wasn't as acceptable. It caused a rather explosive incident with an ex-friend. However, that incident actually led me to realize that I had to tone it down.

I'm MUCH more in control of it now, particularly with my Libra Moon sextile my Sag Sun. It makes it VERY hard to anger me enough to explode and very quick to cool down after exploding. (An added bonus? I'm next to impossible to get stressed out. All my friends are jealous of my mellow ways. )

When I do explode, though... Stay out of the way. I'm apparently absolutely terrifying. Legitimately serial-killer style terrifying.

One day I was in a bad mood, my friends ****** me off first thing in the morning, and I refused to talk to them for the rest of the day. My friends were actually getting really scared of me by the end of the day when I apologized. Another time I got so angry and upset by a discussion in class that immediately afterwards girls who had been there went to warn my friends that I was so upset. And that wasn't even at my worst.

The worst part is that it does indeed lend itself to darker thoughts. In the final confrontation between the ex-friend who thought I was too aggressive, I actually had to run out of the room and to the opposite side of the building because I knew if I was around her any longer, I would have shoved her off of the wood and metal chair she was sitting in and started beating her with it.

The good part is that - for me at least - the passions tend to burn out as quickly as they arise. That day I spent scaring my friends? I was EXHAUSTED by the end! It's just very emotionally draining. So it doesn't generally last long enough to do any damage other than a few sharp words and hurt feelings.

Most of the time I don't even bother with getting angry! Too tiring!

Control? Considering my Pluto is in a Scorpio stellium to boot, I think I'm actually very good with that! I don't really feel the need to control anyone else, though I do have a fear of losing control of my self and my mind. I have a bad family history with alcohol and drugs, and the angriest I've ever been has actually made me really scared of myself.

The bad thing about the square is that it makes it very easy to lose that Plutonian control in a fit of Martian anger. The good thing is that you can use the Plutonian control over YOURSELF rather than others to reel in the Mars.

The one thing I'm truly afraid of? One day finally getting so angry that I DO lose control and seriously hurt someone.

I've never escalated to abuse, and I've never been abused, so I can't testify to that.

However, my Pluto's in the 7H of relationships and Mars is in the 5H of sex, so maybe I'll have to see how this all plays out if I ever get a date!

I believe the energy needs to be expressed one way or another, either given or received. If repressed, it will eventually come to burst. That was my case. I have repressed my aggressiveness for as long as I can remember, until I finally faced the ghosts of my past abuses. Then I got very, very angry. I was punching walls and having very sadistic thoughts. At present this is not an issue anymore, but I have found outlets for that energy. Funny how peaceful and integrated I feel now, after I did. It needs to be aired out once in a while or it eats you from the inside and can become quite (self)destructive. Depends on the rest of the chart and each person's skills and preferences. Some go for extreme and/or violent sports, others like gory movies or write such literature, some have a more extreme sex life etc.
