Would it be Neptune? Conversely, what would show a lack of an addictive personality? I've never had an addiction that I'm aware of--not alcohol, tobacco, drugs...or Facebook.

Yeah I think Neptune factors in for sure. Also a dominance of planets in the 12th or 8th I would think. Someone with a lot of Pisces, or Scorpio (Scorpio likes to push the boundaries and is obsessive and extreme). The moon may factor in as well, dependency.

I have always thought that Jupiter conjunct Neptune would be a potent combo. Expansion and excess in the realm of no boundaries and leaving reality.

I go on binges and it looks like i can't get enough pf whatever it is i am binging on atm but iv never been addicted to anything. I can stop smoking the day i decide to.

I think mine is a scorpio thing.

Pluto my chart ruler is in the 12th ish. Bml is in pisces h5. My own neptune is in cap sextile my rising and trine my venus/ mercury.

I easily become addicted to people, relationships and being around them very easily... I can be secretly very dependent like social interaction fills a void inside that I always am aware of. And it's almost like, It hurts for me more to have friends and companions because they always go away from me, often from no fault of my own. [I'm a Venus-Saturn and Chiron-Venus person so, cursed in love it seems.]

I think having Venus in Scorpio conjunct Nessus, Venus-Chiron, Venus sextile Neptune has a lot to do with it. Strong Scorpio planet combined with Neptune makes things very hazy in my love life and obsessions crop up now and again.

Mercury Scorpio in the 11th has lead to eccentric, obsessive thinking at its worst function.

Pisces Saturn in the 3rd makes me grounded but very depressed easily and I can turn and turn a bad, negative thought over and over in my head for hours, remember many bad experiences and fret over if I sound stupid.

Un-aspected AKA peregrine Sun makes me an even more partner-oriented Libra which can lead to obsessions about finding the 'perfec't partnership.

Pluto in the 12th combined with Moon-Chiron, Moon and Chiron square ASC, Saturn square ASC has made me have obsessions with restricting my diet to improve my appearance. Saturn-ASC, for example: my Saturnine mind makes me see myself as needing to be smaller, since Saturn restricts by squaring my ASC and it makes me want to see my outward image as smaller... this is one meaning among many for me personally of what Saturn sq. ASC means. I say this also because it's combined with the Chiorn square.

I have a Neptune 3x singleton (only earth, only cardinal, only air house planet), a Pisces stellium, 3 planets in Scorpio (2 in the 8th house), and Jupiter as my most aspected planet in the first in Pisces.

I'm sooooooooo hedonistic; but with a stellium in the 10th and sun conjunct saturn; I also never let it get the best of me. Yet. but the tendency towards addiction is definitely there.

No alcohol for me either, I can't see the point of drinking to be honest, or maybe it's my health conscious Virgo Stellium?

I think I have a pretty moderate personality. I've never been straight up addicted to anything... like I've never even blacked out from drinking. I smoke weed sometimes, but I don't have cravings for it. Hell, I've been smoking for almost 10 years and my doctor says that I don't even smoke that much (I'm like a pack a week). Sometimes I go weeks without even wanting a cigarette.

I have Venus in Pisces BUT my Moon (where I think addiction comes from because Moon dictates your level of contentment) is in Libra... although it does oppose Jupiter.

Wouldn't feel will contribute to the whole hedonistic behavior lol. I know we have free will and everything isn't determined by our placements. I kind of feel like neptune is more about repression and Jupiter is expansion .
