Belage - thank you for bringing up the point that we need to analyze *why* (or even *if*) the 3rd house correlates to our names.

the name I go by - Nicole - means "victory of the people". my first name - Hayley - means "from the hay meadow"..lame.

I don't know how either of these meanings or names connect with my empty Capricorn third house. i think that maybe the 1st house is more indicative of what our name means to our personality because the 1st house is all about identity, and we all identify ourselves first by saying our name.

but maybe the 10th house actually has something to do with it because our name is how we identify ourselves to OTHERS, to the public. in that case, my 10th is in Leo (also an empty house) and Leo connects more with the whole "victory of the people" meaning dont ya think?

Makes a lot of sense, Frankie. The 1st house seems more fitting.

My first name means wealthy, and my Pisces ascendant receives a beneficial aspects from Saturn and Jupiter. I can give the illusion of being wealthy, though I am not.

My 1st house has The moon , Neptune , uranus and jupiter .

Neptune is conjunct my moon in the 1st So maybe thats where The fairy queen thing comes from .

Aquarius 3rd house. Not putting my name up because I've posted plenty of pics up here but it is a rarish name (I've only met 2 other girls with my name) and it means "Small and dark". It suits me.

I just recently found out the meaning of my name. Veronica = bringing victory - I have a Sag ASC with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in the first. My mom had me as a teenager and I have proven to be very victorious in my endeavors. She is very proud of me!

Gabriella. 3rd house in Leo, Sun in Aquarius in the 9th. People often think I'm a different ethnicity than I am because of my name (9th house?). It does sound like a Leoish name.

I wasn't named after anything, but my name means "grace of God" I believe. I also have two middle names, and now that I'm older my name seems to be a LOT more common. Everyone tells me my name is pretty or beautiful (and I look at them with a raised eyebrow, because to me it's plain.) I do have two middle names and an unusual last name though, which I have to repeat five times for people to understand lol!

3rd House - Leo, empty, with Sun in the 11th house.
