I might be being simplistic here but since the 3rd house is the house of communications and mundane daily basis stuff and people call you by your name on a daily basis . for example Hi my name is Tatiana
people around my community (3rd house) often tell me its unusual (sun square uranus in the 3rd house) i don't think so myself .
My Younger siblings (3rd house) especially my gemini little brother (3rd house) can't pronounce my name so they just say Tatchina .
My parents homies got my name from a movie (Neptune in the 1st house square mercury in the 3rd) Your turn . IP: Logged |

Andrew h3 capricorn. My nick is ands and i moved the s to the front to get my username.Jupiter and neptune there. Both my first and 2nd name come from men in my family. Namely my dad and my grandfather. So it's a bit trad/ cappy.. IP: Logged |

Julia Joanne. Mars in Capricorn in 3rd house. I used to hate the name Julia. My mother named me like this because she loves this name very much. I like to associate it with Julius Caesar who was a leader(Mars as Pluto is power and war) Joanne is after my father and godfather's name.
I think these names suits me very well especially Julia. My way of talking and thinking is very Capricornian but in an agressive way (I have been told I have a blunt and sharp tongue and agile mind).IP: Logged |

My third house is Sagittarius! Only mars is there and its unaspected but parallel to uranus.
My name is (a girl's name)
and i feel dissociated to it.
It does not end in any -ee cutesy sound. Such as emily, daphne, or stephanie. My mother was gonna name me Erica after the soap lady Erica Kane, but that name was already taken within our family and she was disgruntled lol. If i were a boy my dad wanted Adam. I feel weird when people say my name, like i'm not used to it? I would change my name but if I did, I'd get into the habit of constantly wanting to change it and i'd never be satisfied. IP: Logged |

As an astrologer, I think this thread would be more valuable if we went into the meaning of the name and see how it correlates to the 3rd house. For instance, Tatiana means Fairy Queen.
Andrew means Man, warrior
Veronica means Bringer of Victory. How do those meanings relate to the 3rd house of the querants? All the comments about people looking like a (insert name there) are quite subjective to me. IP: Logged |

My name means wealthy. I have an empty third house. And yes wealth has eluded me,lol. I am still not sure that the 3rd house correlates to the name.
