So i was wondering if your moon and rising can be responsible for cooking and keeping a warm, clean family home?

Asc taurus - Moon cancer

I love cooking, gardening, open windows, flowers, candles and of course i dont mind cleaning (except folding/ironing) If iam not cooking, my house usually smells like lavender/vanilla.

I am not very domestic. It's ruler is Uranus is in my 2nd
I hate cleaning at home. I'm good at organizing but don't apply it to my own stuff. Usually whoever I date is the one that cooks.

Thats very interesting... I like my things organized. My books/dvds are all in my personal preference order lol but nothing ocd or clean freak .

Looks like a prominent cancer influence is very telling.

I'm not interested in marriage or dating other than in the abstract (that is, I don't want those things in my life, though talking about relationships in a general sense is interesting: I just don't want the reality). So, I'm not domestic in that way.

I don't get homesick or jet lag. I travel well. I don't believe in roughing it--I need a nice hotel in a safe place to visit. I can be away from home for months at a time and not miss anything or anyone--not that I don't care, but if I like where I'm going, and I'm safe, I'm content. It's like the one time I'm not craving connectedness.

I am not a kid person and am strongly childfree. I'm not really a familial type. I really like most dogs, though.

I hate cleaning, though I do like to organize (i.e., put things in order--just not clean as in vacuum, sweep, etc.).

Another telling sign about cancer moons and cooking lol... I always attributed my love of cooking with my Taurus. I was so wrong lol

Yes i like dogs too. I want a pup so bad, but waiting until I have a partner to share dog duty with. Solo 6am wake up calls, no thank you lol

I dont know why, but i actually enjoy vaccuuming lol i like watching the grimey dust bunnies get swallowed up

My house is dominated by beige/pale yellow/purple and robin egg blue.

If I had the funds, I would go with a shabby chic sort of look for my home. I like that style: lovely, feminine, elegant, quaint, and with a bit of the past thrown in. Plus, French styles and tastes figure into that style, so that works just fine with me.

I would say that both your Taurus ascendant and your Cancer moon are at work. I know quite a few Taurus-influenced people who like to cook, too. So, maybe it's both.

I like that our styles are insync. Stellium in libra 6H.

I looove a clean house (Virgo Sun) I also like the house to be dim, cold and comfortable. I love candles and books in my home.

Being that I am a Cancer my 4th is a big deal. My 4th is in Virgo (which is my mom's Rising)...and my MC is in Pisces (the signs of both my mom and dad). My IC is Square Uranus (which I feel VERY strongly...and it affects me sooo much ESPECIALLY emotionally). My mom is an Aqua Sun and Mars...and we had quite a bit of moves and she was VERY erratic (Uranus) and VERY controlling (Pluto).

I've always said that I don't want to get married...and it's my dream to either have two houses conjoined, or two separate rooms in a house. Or even live apart...but still be partners who are monogamous. It's very difficult for me to sleep in the same bed as someone, or deal with the obligations of a relationship or even the title. So I worry about my ability to nurture or even be domestic lol.
