I have zero Aries except my NN, but it drives me batty when I'm grocery shopping and people are being slow and won't move. And I don't mean like handicapped people, I mean people are are just gawking and getting in my way. I do have Sag ASC and two planets, though. I also hate it when I'm trying to leave a place and there are too many people blocking my way out and they won't MOVE. Gaaaaah. IP: Logged |

Speaking of Virgos, my family's (most likely) Virgo dog (small possibility of being Libra, but is more likely a Virgo and acts like one) has some pet peeves. He gets upset if something is out of place and will bark and bark and bark at it until it is moved. He has to have his food in a certain place and he won't eat until the cup containing his food is out of sight because he's scared of it. He also hates bugs and will go after them, and doesn't like moss on trees and will claw at that too. So yeah, even dogs have pet peeves. IP: Logged |

My fashion pet peeves: --Jeans everywhere, even casual places. Especially opera, church, ballet, dances, and on work on days other than casual days. --If we can see your Britney, it's too short. If we can see the girls, it's too low. If you can't tell if it's a tube top or a dress, it's too short AND too low. --camel toe --when clothing is big in one area and too small in another --fake fabric (clings in the wrong places, though it's OK for things that underwear or nylons) --real fabric that requires extra care/paying for dry cleaning wool is the b!tch of the fabric world --snakeskin and animal print. Hate it. I'm learning to at least tolerate leopard-print, though, on the condition that it's tastefully done and is in the real color (not like green or something). --ripped/stained/"distressed"/wacked out clothing; I like elegant, tasteful, classic looks and nothing too crazy except for like costume parties and Halloween --clothes that don't fit or that are just yucky-looking --on a related note, shirt gap --blousy, billowy/shapeless things, and baggy things (add bulk); any clothing that is not flattering IP: Logged |

if it's faux leather or vintage, maybe would prefer faux I'd feel bad if it were real, though if it were vintage, the animal would have been dead anyway by now. Then again, though, if it suffered a lot, I'd still feel bad.

I'm on the fence about vintage. I don't feel like I should feel guilty about wearing it when it came from someone that I cared about. However, I feel torn. On the one hand, the animal would be dead by now anyway, so it's a bit of a moot point. On the other hand, if it suffered, I'd feel bad. But, then again, some people eat meat, is it really any different? I don't want to derail the thread, though, so I'll simply say that I feel torn about vintage, and would probably say no to real fur if it were made today. I did accidentally buy a shirt with real fur in it (didn't look far enough down the tag). I felt really bad about it. IP: Logged |

True But then again, I do eat fish, but not meat. Not consistent, I guess. Again, though, I don't want to derail the thread or anything. IP: Logged |

I've been ignoring your comments for so long, I can't remember when it started. Good job trying to give people the impression that I've been replying to your posts, when it's probably been a few months since we last fought. You started this argument today, not me. I had no idea that saying it was "kind of annoying" when these lists got very long would make you so defensive. That it would be perceived as "not allowing people room to be themselves." Wow. If someone is THAT easily "controlled" into not being themselves, I think it's their problem, not mine. IP: Logged |
