What are some of the worst aspects you've personally encountered with a composite and what was it like?

Any of the inner planets in the 6th house. I would literally feel like the relationship was a job, or I felt like the person's "servant". Being taken for granted and whatnot.

Brad and Angelina have a couple of personal planets in their 6th composite I think it would depend on what the couple were looking for.

I personally would avoid Neptune squares to Sun, Venus and mars (maybe moon as well) like the plaque. I experienced Venus-Neptune square, and our relationship ended up being a complete illusion even though everything else looked nice and stable.

All with one person: Moon square Uranus, Neptune, and Mercury. Venus square Pluto. Sun conjunct Saturn (in 7th house).

We couldn't agree on ANYTHING, there was no compromising. Everything however small or petty turned into an argument. There was lying, cheating, deception, etc... From both of us. It was my first 'real' relatinship and the first time having my heart broken, and I felt like I couldn't even function... We should have stayed away after the first time we broke up, but we kept coming back, and back, and back. For years.

Not that it was all doom and gloom I suppose. We really did love each other, there were just some hard lessons to learn. Getting to the point where we were both able to see that neither of us were completely evil or completely a victim, we were each both godd and bad, and it was really our own demons and issues we were fighting through each other... That was the only way to really let it go.

Anyway, stressful aspects to the moon in a composite would probably be the most difficult to deal with imo.

My first husband with venus opp saturn DW in synastry and venus opp saturn in composite. We was young (me 15-17 and him 22-23) and lived like a couple around 75-80.. The relationship was not easy to break and Im happy he is father to my son. He is an very good person. We was not married long but so boring relationship I felt I couldnt expand and develop my life in that relationship.

I just got out of a weird, stormy union with a guy who I was far more into than he was into me, at least I think. He was deceptive in the end, never true to himself, a great actor and just playing a role so he could have me around to use for his own needs. Our synastry was very intense but not too bad, like Moon-Pluto and Moon-Mars, but then... I checked our composite and behold. It sucked. LOL

Our worst aspects and how they played out:

1. Neptune-Uranus square Sun: never open about what was really going on, he was a con artist and very deceptive and elusive, never made solid plans and duped me into thinking we had an ok relationship when really we never did.

2. Saturn in the 4th quincunx Virgo Sun in the 11th: made me feel limited in my self-expression and also, basically shows the differences in our personalities... he's obsessed with his family and stability at work and I'm obsessed with being acclaimed for what I can do in society with my writing.

3. Leo Mars in the 10th sq. Scorp Pluto in the 2nd: self-explanatory right? This is not a great aspect to have, it lead to a lot of tension on both ends. For an overall poor composite this won't save it.

4. Venus in the 12th trine Saturn: very secretive about me, wouldn't even introduce me to one of his parents, didn't want to start something out of fear people would talk bad about him I guess. Despite the fact that I'm attractive and successful he was embarrassed about our age difference. I usually think 12H Venus in composite is one of the worst placements for Venus since it appears more often than not, it indicates secret trysts and unions that aren't revealed to others.

5. Mars opposition Saturn: another bad aspect to have AND we had it in synastry. For a love composite this one is absolutely terrible and shows a lack of sexual chemistry and even more so, spontaneity... which is essential especially when you first start out. All the power of a sexual Leo Mars is drained by the Saturn in our comp. He continually resisted even small, flirty advances I made even after we got together once and made out. SO hot and cold... it was very hurtful.

6. Moon sq. Uranus-Neptune: another terrible aspect since our Moon was on the ASC and this made me feel emotionally turned upside down and TOTALLY anxious, a complete wreck around him sometimes for God knows why. Always felt like I had to keep myself 'in check' and I was somewhat high strung around him. I already am prone to anxiety-depression and after we split I totally spiraled downward and had an anxiety attack and depressive episode.

It was never a "relationship" in the first place but here goes:

Moon/Pluto/Saturn T-square.

(Almost) Unaspected Sun & Venus.

Mars & Jupiter square Neptune & Uranus.

Saturn in the 12th.

Emotions were extremely intense and obsessive, but blocked, repressed. Affection wouldn't flow and the whole connection was elusive, full of deceit and lies and secrets.

Basically the worst effect one person can have on another.. never again, please.

Our synastry was full of Saturn contacts and it's hard to get away from the connection but the other person ran away from me without any explanation. I still don't know what happened and I'm very hurt over this experience.

About the 6th house planets..
I've always had them in my relationships.
But maybe that's because I have my own 6th house packed.
It does sometimes feel like you have to "work" for the relationship to take place, or that one is more dominant/demanding than the other.
It's very important to have good intentions with such placements because otherwise I can see how it could become a nightmare - one person taking advantage of the other, etc.

Have any of you looked at the progressed composite at the time things started visibly souring in the relationship or when it ended? Did it have a similar theme? Or did you notice really horrid aspects in the progressed composite?

Do you think that a progressed composite without any water is just too superficial?

Not sure about your previous question, I don't think I've noticed any pattern in the progressed composite..

But, I am not sure if the signs actually have that much meaning in composite charts.

I was actually planning on asking this question, do the elements in the composite chart matter at all?

Like if there was no fire, would it be similar to a natal chart with no fire, ie passive, not very dynamic or spontaneous, etc?

Hmm..

Merc and Nep are in accidental reception, too. It is a wild ride

Noo!
I totally thought my Moon was being all mysterious and fascinating in your 12th!
But wait, maybe it's better in your 11th, the house of friends, instead of that of hidden enemies.

And 16° orb? Totally, my friend!! I allow it
Sun/Moon sounds cool. Even out of sign, hehe.

Libra ASC.. you guys are so sweet, no kddin'. I just love you. Heck, I got Venus & Jupiter there, you're my fave kind of people

Wooo progressed planets in Scorp! So ya'll intense and deep, heh? Something around 10°, 16°, 25° or 29° Scorpio? lol that's all I got.

Oh my pVenus is at 22° Scorp!

You got a Water Venus, how cool.
My Water Mars likes

Ps. Totally sorry for derailing the thread! My sincere apologies.

Sun contacts to Neptune also suck because it makes the relationship lack definition and direction; FWBs are probably abundant in Sun-Neptunian composite contacts.

Also, moon sq. Pluto - mind games galore.

Would you conclude that any kind of moon pluto aspect would be filled with mind games?
