I'm pretty fascinated right now, because this fire element description has described me to the T, and I never knew I was so fire-like. Heaviest element in my chart is Fire but I never really saw why or how that described me. Thinking about it, the element I have always gotten along best with is Fire. It makes sense now! http://songsdomain.tripod.com/fire/index.html ^Which element do you get along best with and which of those element descriptions in the link above describes you best? ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

Fire describes me best. But I "appear" earth. As far as who I get along with best I have no idea. I attract lots of Aries, Gemini, Sagittarius and sometimes Virgo and I feel most comfortable with them. So Fire, I guess? For me, I think it's more planetary energy. I like Mercurial people, Martians, and Jovians for friendship. But if I had to pick an element, Fire.IP: Logged |

cool, lazyscarecrow It's funny because even though i feel fire describes me best from that website, I dont think i look like a fire sign at all. Rather, I come off as an air sign (libra rising). So I understand where you're coming from when you say that you identify most with one description but appear as another. I do think air makes a big part of who I am, but it's not my essence. For example, even though I do also relate to water, I don't relate all that much. I don't collect things for sentimental value. I have no problem throwing everything I have away and starting anew, and have done it before. I definitely am more rational and analytical than how that describes the water element. If you ask me why I feel a certain way or why I have a certain "hunch", I can definitely tell you with no difficulty. I don't manipulate people or use emotional blackmail like the water element examples they describe. I also try to look at all sides of everything, and I definitely hate when people say "But that person is nice to me. They may not be nice to you, but they're nice to me. So, I like them." I also look for patterns in everything, and it's no mystery why I want to be a psychologist---so I can find the patterns in the world. Fits with their description of air. Right? You would think so...but my point is it doesn't describe my deeper feelings. Such as, I don't rationalize things. I try to stay away from having impractical theories about how everything works and should work. I have no problem talking about emotions or admitting weakness/asking for things in a relationship. Etc. So, libra is my rising, but as astrology traditionally defines the rising sign, it doesn't truly describe my inner essence . ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings

I'm water to the core, I just act it out like a fire or air sign (my singletons) I'm the furthest thing from earth-y, though!I don't know who or what I get along best with...I'd say a little of all! I did a lot of work investigating my friends' charts, though, and I found that they are over all lacking in earth. One friend may have an earth moon, or an earth sun/mars combo, but all in all, it's an under-present element. IP: Logged |

I have nothing in earth except for my outer planets and it makes sense because I also identify with the earth description the least.Scorpy, you have moon and rising in earth signs, though! Woah. I thought it would be near to impossible that you weren't cautious and realistic to some extent hehe. Guess not! :P You even look like a virgo ... I have the opposite problem though! My friends have mostly earthy charts! haha. (with fire suns) Hey, does my jupiter in gemini count as a singleton if my rising and north node are also in air signs? ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

Ahaha, I guess not! I'm really reckless and optimistic/idealistic. Realism and caution are definitely qualities I lack! quote: Hey, does my jupiter in gemini count as a singleton if my rising and north node are also in air signs?
Yes it does! I love singletons, and it's making sense now! A Leo bend with Jupiter singleton in Gemini...learn more about RAS every day, hahaha IP: Logged |

Earthy people tend to be at home with their bodies. They like bodies, they feel comfortable clothed in flesh; often they believe themselves to actually be their bodies. If you ask a group of people individually, 'Who are you?' and ask for the first honest spontaneous answer, you will see the elements very quickly coming to the fore. The intuitive will seek to articulate - if possible - that he is his innermost spiritual essence, his creative source. The earth sign will tell you, or experience himself as, his body. After all, what better friend than his body? It is as far as many of us know of reality. So earthy people are usually healthy, because they neither repress nor undervalue the needs of the body. "have you ever watched a fire sign assess a situation? They will rarely analyse the components, or if they do, it will be in an afterword, to justify themselves to some pestering earth sign who doesn't believe in hunches. But the fiery type seems to be able to get an instantaneous perception of all the undercurrents going on, and to come to a snap conclusion which just seems to 'happen' in their head. They rarely know how or why. They have an excellent nose, which often flies against the apparent facts of a situation, yet is unerringly accurate. You might even call this mysterious sixth sense a little magical. Actually what has happened is that they have used functions of the psyche other than the senses and the rational intellect to assess the situation. What other function, you may well ask. Why, any fire sign can tell you: intuition. "exactly!! firey people are intuitive! and they always drop us from this title -_- ** Fire is dominant in my chart. I get along with air/water the best ... earth, not so much. IP: Logged |

Thank god Neptune rules the day I was born but I do fear death very much. Because the innate chaos of life, its randomness, its movement, its incessant propensity to shift and change, are so terrifying to earthy people, they have a tendency to build bastions in which they can retreat and feel safe from the ever-present threat of the unknown. As fire loves what it does not know and has not yet seen, earth cherishes what is known, familiar and trustworthy. Life is, perhaps, a paradox containing both. While earthy people can manage with ease the complexity of the world of objects, they are dangerously liable to miss the inner significance of their own lives. Because of their fear of chaos and that which is unknown or changeable, earthy people are often beleaguered with irrational fears and vague apprehensions. Sometimes you will see earthy people who have stomped so ruthlessly on their imagination, their intuition, that they live in an endless grey twilight of labours and routines that, while gradually increasing the pile of objects around them, never ease the real hollowspace. And deep inside you can hear the plaintive cry, the longing for some sense of purpose, some feeling of being part of a larger life, some hope for the future. All those labours make it hard to live creatively. Another way of putting all this is that the earthy person's problem is : he doesn't know how to play. He has forgotten the state of childhood, which doesn't leave us just because our bodies are 'adult'. There is a secret child in all of us, full of wonder and naïveté and the hope is that life will bring surprises, joys, bounties unexpected - like Santa Claus on Christmas morning. If fire is the eternal child, earth is the eternal old man or old woman. He is often old when he is young, being more sensitive to and more willing to undertake responsibility; and this very gift which allows him to look realistically at what he must accomplish in life, is also his greatest enemy. Unless he can break loose from the treadmill of his bondage to what he calls reality, he is especially liable to fear death as the final reckoning: a definitive summation of his own life, whose underlying significance has somehow eluded him. Earth signs may be wonderful builders, providers, homemakers, conscientious servants of the needs of those they love. Their really big sin is never lack of care and effort. It is their lack of vision, which often stifles those who are close and crush their own as well as other's nascent creativity through over-insistence on the practical. IP: Logged |

No wonder I feel so Geminian, Scorpy! Yay. I really identify with the gemini description. All this time I thought it was just my nametype in gemini. Yours is aqua, remember? Which totally makes sense for you ! YepppSand ahaha...I am so not comfortable with my body. Their fire element description emphasizes how earth and fire are opposite like that. Fire feels the body is a hindrance...it's annoying that I have to get up and drink water, or shower, or sleep! Ugh. I wish I could just keep going and going and not lose concentration or creative impetus Bodies are also kinda ugly ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

Vickymadness, I guess in pop astrology books fire is not linked with intuition. But I read a lot, and it's all over the internet that fire is indeed intuition and emotion just like water. (Well, not JUST like, haha, very different...extroverted. But earth/air are reason and water/fire are emotion. One is introverted, other is extroverted, among other differences.)------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

LOL AW! You earth sign you We are not cray haha Yes, I saw descriptions of fire being creativity and seeing endless possitiblites and seeing the world as your playground from astro.com...but I never knew it was so related to fantasy to that extreme. It's almost fantasy in a different way than pisces. It's not crazy or weird fantasy..it's about possibilites, inspiring, and feeling happy and creative. Pisces I feel is more about weird and romantic **** I guess, haha. (To me pisces is a genius tho. Look at Einstein. As the last sign, I guess they're able to grasp the complete concept of the patterns in the universe.) Scorpy, I'm glad you found that as funny as i did haha. Bodies are ugly, and hairy, and you have to shave them, and they get wrinkly, and your nose ( and ears ) never stops growing..and your hair turns gray. Yuck :P IP: Logged |

right, water and fire are kind of similar but water direct their energy inward, and fire direct it outward and sometimes selfishly but I really do act with my guts instincts.

I like Earth.Fire can be okay, but in small doses. Too much Air or Water and it's bound to become difficult (they're either *too* intellectual/*logical* or *too* emotional/cry babies). I relate to the Water description the most, but with a touch of Air. IP: Logged |
