Topic: twelfth house and projection

I was having a talk with a fellow twelfth house sun, and we both have people project their problems onto us and we think its twelfth house related, anybody else with planets in 12th who experience things like this? For example: I have had incredibly angry people tell me I have anger problems and need help, funny thing is they are the ones screaming lol and I'm calm.IP: Logged |

Totally... I feel your pain. I am a 12H Pluto person. Pluto rules a good deal of my personal planets also, like Venus and Mercury. Many abusive people in my childhood or people with erratic emotions have suggested I am psychotic, weird, opposition-defiant disordered etc. Even though I was always the one behind them for their drug issues, DUI's, bipolar moods, abandoning me and others, etc. I could have lashed out and hurt them but never did. Now when I have one emotional crisis now and again they are always quick to say I should go to the ER, be committed etc. when really it's ridiculous since I am so self-aware and too high functioning for that. Hear hear! I agree. 12th house Chiron, Moon and Jupiter and it happens all the time for me. Not just anger though, there's all kinds of projection. Funny that this topic should come up right now though since I have been dealing with some people's projected anger for a while now and I finally reached my breaking point and cut them off. Gray,Agreed, but this is more so about how other people project on to us, as opposed to us projecting on to another. My 7th house Neptune does too much projecting for sure. But my 12th house is often the recipient of other's projections. It could have to do with how one's chart is set up as well. Neptune, natural ruler of the 12th is in my 7th. The ruler of my 7th (Jupiter) is in my 12th conjunct my Moon and SN so that could have something to do with it in my case. IP: Logged |

I have my Cancer moon in the 12th, so ruler of the 12th in the 12th and I don't deal with emotional projection any more than any other kind. I think people naturally project themselves onto others no matter what placements you have. We relate and form connections by seeing yourself in others. That's my opinion. I don't think the 12th has anything to do with it. IP: Logged |

I'm also one to have pluto and saturn in the 12th house. However, though I had a crazy childhood and really felt abandoned too. I guess now I have simply let go of it all, well not all, but most. This last relationship made me the most emotional I have been in such a long stretch. It was extremely exhausting. But again I think I recovered well. And I think 12th house planets are not that bad? I have this too and it's kind of a pain in the arse. Things can get wavy-gravy for me as to whether I'm projecting or being projected upon and that's where I have to be self aware.
just as a brief aside: Although the 12th is considered the house of self undoing, I personally think that the 6th/12th axis are the least lauded houses. The 12th can be difficult to understand and the 6th seems so mundane that usually no one wants to talk about it or deal with it. Not always, but typically speaking.

Maybe its more noticeable with different planets. I actually wish people projected their emotions onto me because then it would give me a chance to talk about and express my own. People are shocked when I tell them im hurt, sad, angry, moody, and God forbid I ever cry, people kinda quiet down and I feel even more awkward. This happened even after I was in a rollover car accident.
