I actually wish people projected their emotions onto me because then it would give me a chance to talk about and express my own. People are shocked when I tell them im hurt, sad, angry, moody, and God forbid I ever cry, people kinda quiet down and I feel even more awkward. This happened even after I was in a rollover car accident.
@ your accident.

But if we all have something to project, we will be the recipient at some point no matter if we have 12th house placements or not. Aquaguy91 said he had anger projected onto him, yet he doesn't have mars in his 12th.. Obviously it had little or nothing to do with him, and rather the person doing the projection. Just my thoughts, I don't know Edit: Oppositions tend to be projected out as well. IP: Logged |

More often than i'd like... it happened even here on forum: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/215176.html - but it happens mostly with those that seem to have a short temper... and since they can explode in anyone's face at any time - maybe we act like a tampon for those people... Any of you comes with wings? IP: Logged |

I guess now I have simply let go of it all, well not all, but most. This last relationship made me the most emotional I have been in such a long stretch. It was extremely exhausting. But again I think I recovered well. And I think 12th house planets are not that bad?
I always felt abandoned growing up easily by people in my family...also Moon-Chiron conjunct is a big factor in why I felt this way. I feel Pluto in the 12th is a lot of my rage and anger that I keep locked inside since I never wanted to express intense emotion as a kid since my security often felt threatened, and any lashing out or fighting back meant no money, or being scared or threatened or verbally abused by a family member. I feel happy for you that you let a lot of it all go. I think that's great. Through therapy right now I am trying to do the same thing. I feel I conquered a lot of the uphill battle I'd been fighting with my mom and trying to damage her and change her to suit me better. I have mostly just accepted her the way she is, damaged but trying in others ways, and have spiritually moved on. 12th house planet people have a special purpose in life. Usually these people will be a little different than their peers. They know struggle, they've often had to look their demons straight in the eyes and face bad, dark parts of themselves and others. I feel this BUILDS CHARACTER and as you said, maybe that isn't a bad thing at all, to have to face challenges to become more unique, healing in the end. IP: Logged |

I completely get you. I rally mean it. I have even realized that I tried very hard to mold people to me. I've also learned to let that aspect go, not entirely though. I think it's a large part of why I feel at peace now? I have always felt weird but I think when a person genuinely reflects on their inner spirit and with and unbiased eye reevaluates their life thus far, that person will also feel strange and weird. I don't think that there is one person that doesn't feel weird unless they aren't very introspective and are very ignorant. So in the end I think we are all weirdos. hehe I tend to be blunt and don't really lock anything away. I don't know entirely why that is. I would think that pluto in the 12th would lock me away, but I have mars, sun, and true node in the 9th and that really gets me. hehe O Oh well, we all have our many demons. IP: Logged |

Yes, I agree with you. Letting a lot of your need to control will help you feel more at peace. But having a degree of control over you and your part in a situation and also, being assertive is totally different. I have my south node in Taurus so I was born with a tendency to try to hold on, stop change, control others, be resistant and stubborn. I am learning more to identify with my Scorpio NN so I can dissolve my fears and control issues in times of crisis and just learn to take care of myself first and foremost not everyone around me who is excessively needy or messed up. It sounds harsh but there's a time and a place for being empathetic and generous. That's a great point. You're really right I think. Unless the person is very shallow and doesn't have a lot of inner depth they will feel that way at some point. I think even the most gathered and typical of people will feel it at some point in their lives when they are meant to feel it, re-evaluate themselves. It's very uncommon for a person to never have one crisis in life that makes them break down, question themselves and who they are. As I said, I feel these kinds of things are necessary evils that make us or break us. Life wouldn't be interesting without them. My Pluto has an outlet into my Neptune with a sextile, MC with a sextile, opposition to Lilith, and a strong trine to my Mars in the 8th house. So as I get older I am learning more to assert myself especially in interpersonal relationships. I can exert a good deal of power over other people I get intimate with but I am learning how to use it effectively not manipulatively. I also have Moon in the 9th, and an un-aspected Sun in the 10th that can carry away my chart too. I can be really self-expressive but sometimes I have identity problems. I feel the older I get the more I realize it is actually OK to let some things out.... because as I am doing right now with you and other LL members, showing my problems and shadows in life, I am helping others and also myself. Regardless of the polarity associated with the sign on the cusp or starting in the 12th house, the 12th is a negative polarity house, so it's going to be ripe for others' projections.IP: Logged | |
