UGH my moon sign drives me crazy.

I hate how anxious I get.

I hate it even more when I express that anxiety to others when I should SHUT UP and not say anything.

I hate that I sometimes make poor decisions and impulsive ones when anxious, though I'm not as bad as I used to be.

I hate how I feel like this when I get anxious:

havetotalkhavetofixthingshavetofixithavetofixitdosomethingdosomething

I hate that I'm too emotional.

I hate that I'm too sensitive.

I hate that I worry a lot.

I hate that I am disgusting to people and that they avoid me.

I hate feeling so insecure.

I hate that I sometimes really long for the years of my childhood (not my experiences, and not to be a child, but for the time period itself, when things felt more stable and secure).

I hate that I never feel safe or secure or like things are comfortable, cozy, and stable.

I feel like everyone wants to get rid of me and no one can stand me.

Arrrgh.

Other Cancer mooners, do you have any of the same things driving you crazy?

Right on brother. High five!

I could right a book of 10000 pages and then some. This moon is CHALLENGING!

But truth be told, its easier on Women than men for some reason: well, at-least in my experience.

When I express my Cancer moon, my friends say "there he goes again, being too gay on us..." and that gets me feeling very defensive.

Not that I object to being labeled as "gay"-because that is what I am- but that it is often tied up with "weakness", "being all over the place" and "not manly".

I am NOT dogging out on femininity , but in a culture that tends to praise masculinity a little bit more, I don't blame my Cancer brethren for being so defensive . The world teaches us to respond that way. And being a Lunar gay guy, its almost like a double dose. Yikes

But back to your issue.

Yes...."emotional"

Yes..."irrational"

Yes...."loony"

Yes...."difficult".

Yes to all of the other terrible adjectives that accompany them. But the question is, which moon in Cancer do you choose to be?

You can suppress your natural urge to nurture and love to be considered "strong"-whatever that means. Walk around with an expression like "who farted?"

Or

You can embrace the strongly feminine qualities of this sign and tailor them to your idea of masculinity.

When something touches you...cry openly

When somebody needs a hug, you know what we are famous for *hint hint*...give em the love

When someone is disrespecting your feelings and calling you a "woes", say "i love you". Beat the hell out of them and then when its all over say "I love you. You ****** me off, but I love you and I'm sorry." Really, say that. It confuses the hell outa them. I've done it.lol

I think the challenge in being this sign is being blessed with tons of softness. The expression of which, is not easy.

Pisces can shape shift to fool others and pull the whole "macho" thing to a point where it is believable.

Scorpio can be vengeful, unrelentingly so, without flinching. And that makes me feel like shaking them and saying "You need LOVE my brother/sister. LOVE".

And what do we Cancerians have? Damne shells to "hide" away in.Our come back lines aren't even that great and we sulk like babies to a point where its embarrassing. Enough.

Cancer moon needs a make-over.

I'm turning my energy towards the eternal mother/nurturer Ceres. It sextiles my sun closely(in Aquarius). I utilize my enormous nurturing instincts to counsel and "save" people outside my comfort zone.

This detaches me from my personal life , yes....And I feel a whole lot better knowing that my moods are being converted to constructive energy for someone else's benefit.

Show me some love Lunar Cancerians. *opening arms*

Right on!

my best friend is a cancer moon, and yes he seems to go through all those things. I'm usually the one he turns to when he needs someone to talk to, and I'm glad to help my friend most of the time, but sometimes he gets so depressed and cynical( cap sun and cancer moon) that I just can't deal with it, so I might not answer the phone sometimes because I know what's coming and I can't handle it. its not that I dislike him or think he's creepy at all, its just sometimes all those negative emotions can be toxic for me and I need a break. for what its worth regardes I don't think your creepy at all, you are very wellspoken.

I agree 100% that this is a tough moon for men, I'll admit sometimes I have trouble understanding my cancer moon friend, it just seems weird to see a guy cry like that. it also saddens me that his sensitive nature is also misunderstood by women
as well.

I love Cancer moons! Both in women and men! I think it is my favorite moon sign besides my own. Don't get down about it.

RP, do your sun and moon square? This could be part of your frustration with your emotional/sensitive side. I know you have a Libra sun.

My Sun and moon square by 4 degrees and I feel the same a lot of the time. I hate how sensitive I am, but I realize more and more how useful a tool that can be.

Maybe the trick to working through it is to NOT hate yourself for it, off the bat... Let yourself be loony and get it all out in a way and afterward, reward yourself by trying to find a way to manage it better in the future so that you don't end up feeling $hitty about yourself again, if it does happen or catches you offguard, again.

You may not feel as if you've got a safe place to let it out, though and because of it, your subconscious may be working overtime.

Really, really, try to pinpoint the energy in your immediate surroundings because it may just be psychic energy from a neighbor or a friend or even something material that you have that belonged to someone..?

I usually change furniture around whenever i find things too stale.. And i can say that not long ago, i wanted to make a change so i got rid of the bed i've had for about 5-6 years because i didn't want to lay where the old "me" used to lay... Makes sense?

Your moods already dictate your emotions and memories so why not be proactive and take charge as to what kind of moods and memories you'd like to remember later?

Apparently, they are not square, but my sun is square Neptune. My moon is square to Mercury. I do have a cardinal t-square and a water grand trine.

I mainly get frustrated with the emotional side because it seems to aggravate people and make them avoid me.

I just feel like people think that I'm nuts or creepy or weird. Like, I bother people just by being around them or writing to them or talking to them. I end up avoiding people who avoid me.

One thing that does help are my interests. I indulge my obsessiveness in my interests with people who share them. Like looking at pictures of things that I enjoy--that helps. Cooking, too: I don't even care if I get to eat much of what I make (if I'm making it for like a potluck or to bring to someone like for their birthday or something); I love the process of cooking and want to get better at it. Plus, if I'm focused on that--and you have to be, for food to turn out right--it distracts me. Organizing, too. I'm a bit messy, but I like to have things in order. I can live with clutter just fine, but if something isn't alphabetized or organized in some other way (like my books--I group them a certain way), I have to fix it. So, that distracts me, too.

I think it is good that you stand up for yourself and voice when you feel anxious/uncomfortable. This is a cardinal trait; and with a cardinal t-square you have a lot of this tendency. It is not only your moon. Now, your Libra sun does like to pacify and create balance--but clearly without voicing your discomforts balance in your relationships will not be possible.

I wish i were more like this! It is a good trait to have. I have Pisces moon and 2 other Pisces planets and it is so hard to discern my own emotions from time to time. I find myself unhappy in countless relationships (all types of relationships; not just romantic), because I never stood up for myself in the first place and the precedent of the relationship has been set. So when I bring things up later the other party feels confused and frustrated with me. My best friend, who is also coincidently a Cardinal moon (aries), has pointed out this flaw in me and urged me to change it. I really think its a positive change and I am hoping with time and now acknowledging this personal flaw that I have, things will get better/easier.

What kinds of things do you like? How can you integrate your likes to become more stable influences? Its possible to do; it may just take effort.

And tbh a lot of insecurities come from the *inside*. You may feel others don't like you, when really you are the one unhappy with yourself. And this post alone of yours seems to illustrate that.

Once you figure out how to be a healthier you, healthy relationships with people who understand your needs and wants will follow.

In all honesty, I don't always feel good about myself. I'm still struggling to get certain things that I want in life; finances are an issue too. I worry a lot about the future. I don't feel successful.

I feel like I'm being creepy, needy, demanding and annoying if I stand up for myself or express dissatisfaction or discomfort. I advocate this for other people, but I don't really feel like I have the right to ask people to talk about things or to address certain behaviors with people that I would like to see change. I feel like I'm not good enough to really do that--as in, I haven't earned the right to do that.

I literally feel like a pest and like I bother people, and if I feel like that with a person, I avoid him/her because I feel too ashamed not to do that.

As for what I like: fashion/style, retro (especially the 1950s), classic films, books, movies, TV, art, decor/decorating, food/cooking, languages, writing but I haven't been able to do it in years, travel if I had money, certain countries/cultures (especially France), certain times in history, etc.

I love cancer mooners. They're soooo kayoot. It's not in a way that is like, "aw, poor thing. i feel bad for you." It's in a way that I'm like "you're so lovable and adorable, and open about your emotions, and easy to like." and yes, their moods and their shyness are adorable, too.
The people i know with cancer moons are lovely people, and i have heard others say wonderful things about them, like "he/she is a total sweetheart! I love him/her"

I think cancer placements need to learn that when you stop chasing people to be your friends, then you'll notice that friends will come to you anyway. Even when you dont try, people will still beg you to be their friend if you just so much as try to be open for whatever and whoever, which most people do naturally. Even if you want to stand there quietly, there are still people that are going to be drawn to you, because your personality comes across anyway! So i think you shouldnt worry about it. If there are people who avoid you, Regardes, then just don't worry about it. They are probably just very judgmental. Once you stop worrying and trying so hard to have friends, you'll find people just naturally gravitate to you and seek you out.

lol well, we are cuddly

that one was to describe the moods

as in, we get MOODY

don't act on it, but moods/feelings are intense

basically, the point was that we (or at least I) drive people crazy with my intense moods

It is hard for me to relax and be comfortable with people. I'm trying to get away from people-pleasing mode, but I do feel a lot of pressure to not annoy people, and I do apologize a lot. I screwed up today by over-apologizing, and it's a mistake that I don't want to make. I feel really ashamed to have done that and really embarrassed about it, but I'm hoping that it'll blow over and that I'll get past it eventually.

I do feel ashamed of feeling anxious and insecure, and worry about being clingy, annoying, and overloading. I try not to do it, but I worry a lot about how people see me. When people are avoiding me, I'm worrying that I come off wrong and that maybe other people think that I'm bad, too.

but being anxious around people is adorable and only someone who is cold mean and judgmental would think otherwise. i went on a date recently with a libra guy with cancer moon like you and he got tongue tied a couple of times and i thought it was so cute haha . i love it. people arent judging you as harsh as you think, sweetie. and saying sorry too much...again, that is not repulsive, its disarming. and there are tons of people who enjoy making others feel comfortable and raising ppls self esteem who would find that very endearing and would want to help you by helping you see that there isnt much to really feel so bad about

are you drawn to shy people? i am draw to shy people. bc theyre adorable and REAL. not like so many other ppl who go around pretending to be happy nd outgoing when inside theyre really not.

I think ppl only dislike someone when theyre rude. not when theyre shy or anxious/nervous. thats actually cute.

my cappy friend says sdrry way too much all the time but its adorable and disarming. i find it hard to say sorry so its inspiring that she finds it so easy to do all the time

Well, I just don't want to make people uncomfortable.

I don't want to be like pitied or anything, and I do want to feel better about myself. I just worry that I do things that are freaky or creepy or off-putting.

I tend to worry a lot about that. It causes a lot of anxiety for me.

It depends on the shy person.

Someone who is really unresponsive and who can't deal with emotions--someone who's a cold kind of shy--makes me uncomfortable. Not like creeped-out uncomfortable, but like I have to watch everything that I say or do uncomfortable, and like I can't be myself.

Someone who has low self esteem 24/7 can bother me, and I myself get upset with me when I get that way. However, everyone has bad days or off-moments. So, I can live with it a bit, but not constantly. It's not the worst or most annoying flaw in a person, though.

I think that the kind of 'shy' that I like is when someone is a bit more reserved in public, but able to open up more in private. Like someone who may not be the life of the party or outgoing, but they aren't standoffish, either. Medium-shy.

Right on!

I'm actually a sister, but high five back.

Thnx for support...
Me too, have both sun and saturn square Cancer moon.
With those saturn square moon , I think it has tendency to be more depressed than any others. And the sun square part , I think I could work it out fine with my age getting older , I have no longer to have any issue.
