This thought just crossed my mind. Is it more of a certain type of sign that comes out to be gay? I'm curious as of what everyone has to say on this matter. Inquiring mind wants to know! This message is for PixieJane, leaving that nasty lil paragraph of who YOU think is a troll. You apparently have no sense of humor and get off labeling other people what YOU think, (that is if you can think) and live on the internet looking for reasons to bash on others. Since I can no longer post on this webpage, you got your wish. The only real troll I see here is YOU and some of your croonies. Make my day. ------------------ ~Sunny~

No i do not think any sign is more likely to be gay. I bet you will find equal amounts of gay people among all signs..I do think it might have something to do with certain asteroids, or mars-uranus/venus-mars-uranus aspects. IP: Logged |

Nope. This is one of those things not explained by astrology, just like astrology doesn't explain why some people are left handed instead of right, or perhaps prefers blondes to gingers (or vice versa). And if astrology was a significant factor then one gay person born would mean that nearly all born at that time and time zone are likely to be, and I've never heard of a reason to think that's ever happened. Plus, plenty of identical twins are born (that is same genes & environment as well as natal chart) where one is gay but the other is not (and neither being bi), so I just don't see much astrology at work here. Sure there are many pet theories, but I never heard of one panning out. My own guess is that if anything astrological has to do with it then it would be one of the asteroids, probably an unnamed one, and perhaps even how asteroids interact with each other and/or the moon or a planet, but even if this turns out to be the case then there's still more at work than astrology. This is a bit like wondering, "what signs are likely to be male, or Asian". It is a valid question, but it is something more accurately answered by a statistician rather than an astrologer.Astrology is the individual box of crayons each of us has been given in this life. What ends up on the page is based on so many factors; the color or style of crayon only ends up playing a small part in our masterpiece. IP: Logged |

I've noticed sun conjunct Uranus in charts of a people I know that are openly gay. And I know a lot of gay men, I know a Taurus Sun, a Leo, a Libra, 3 Scorpio Suns that are gay and a Sagittarius that is gay and a transgender Aquarius Sun. So no specific Sign pronounces this obviously. IP: Logged |

There are only 1-2% of the population that are homosexual that includes bisexual. Having said that, there are many in the entertainment industry who are homosexual to bisexual. This is plain opinion but I find these common denominators: - aspects that cause flamboyance (mostly looks, but also career, money etc) - aspects causing sheer desire to be appreciated or accredited by other people - narcissism (the need to be in the limelight or center of attention.) - harsh aspects to venus/moon for a male or mars/jupiter for a female - mars in a fixed sign - gives the desire - mars in a mutable sign - allows things to be set in motion. - childhood experiences with homosexuality/ bisexuality So again this is my personal observation.

Actually, sun conjunct black moon lilith has one stroooong preference for the same sex. I've found it true every single time i've seen it in a chart.Other than that, i've just noticed bisexuality and two-at-a-time for mars and venus in gemini. Not much else. IP: Logged |

One thing I'll say that it's not: Uranus in Libra. Despite that this placement is typically one that inspires exotic and atypical romantic & sexual arrangements (and sometimes very accepting of pansexuality, polyamory, etc) I knew a guy with this placement who attempted to become bisexual when he was 20 as he felt bis had the "best of both worlds." But try as hard as he could he couldn't manage it. And it's not like he's just inhibited, the guy isn't at all and is very comfortable mixing with gays, lesbians, and transsexuals, there's just simply no passion for men and he finally gave it up as useless to even try. That said, I thought Libra had a rep for bisexual women and gay men, though granted that's probably from confusing psychological gender traits (which Libra is known to balance in the men & women under this sign) with sexual orientation...(btw, the guy I mentioned with Libra Uranus above was also a Libra Sun.) Coming from someone who identifies as gay... quote: Originally posted by Dreaming111: There are only 1-2% of the population that are homosexual that includes bisexual. Out of that list, the only ones that I fit are the fixed Mars (in Leo), and I'm not completely sure what you mean by "flamboyant planets", but maybe that one. quote: Originally posted by C1ND3R: Actually, sun conjunct black moon lilith has one stroooong preference for the same sex. My Lilith isn't conjunct my Sun, but...it's in Gemini and it's squaring my Pisces sun with an orb of less than a degree. My chart if anyone is interested: Placidus House System - http://i.imgur.com/DGwg9.gif Equal House System - http://i.imgur.com/0iCjI.gif

I am not gay or ever had leanings that way and I am a Gem Sun, Merc and Venus. I think it has to be much more than a single sign. I would say Venus sq Mars. I think Uranus may be a factor, too. This is just a thought but one person who had leanings to being a lesbian, but was not, had Jupiter oppose Uranus. I am thinking Uranus may be there as part of the picture, as well. What backwards state do you live in, exactly? Have you left your farm to interact with any real people, let alone gay one's? Take a trip to nyc.. By all means. IP: Logged |

Maybe, just maybe. I don't think that these things could be explained by traditional astrology, like all that have that and that kind of aspect or placement, are gay. However, i think it still could be explained, maybe, by individual asteroid placements which are prominent in one's chart, for example, conjunct DSC or other rather personal points, perhaps. I know a guy who has Sun conjunct Uranus, conjunct Venus, conjunct Mercury. No way he's a gay, he is happily married and with children, with very conservative mind in all things.

A lot of my bisexual friends have Gemini somewhere in their chart. My one friend who has a Gemini Sun dated a transexual. I've met a few Aquarians who are gay. Uranus in the 8th house can be something to look at. IP: Logged |

He told the doctors he wanted to do the full sex change and have that done before his chest, but, he never did.. Just got the bits inverted and removed: http://www.themanginaman.com/ -> he's an aries.I have his birth info stored in one of my accts...
