Same here, have tons of supposedly "masculine" traces, spent a nice evening listening to a bartendress share her fear that Issac would be like Katrina to New Orleans in 2 days She lost her home etc, nearly lost her brother, in Katrina so I came to understand that for a NOLA person..that is serious 12th house Pisces, which imo, that fish balances out all of the masculine traits. Gemini influence makes it hard to listen. They just wanna talk and talk and talk.Mercury conjunct Pluto.. These people cannot shut up! Or they're like super silent. All in extremes. Okay now for good listeners.. I would say Mercury/Saturn, cause it stands for concentration and the ability to focus.
Pisces Moons, sounds right to me! (and maybe 12th house Moons). But most of them talk a lot, too. And someone mentioned Taurus Mercury, I'd have to agree with that.

Do you have any moon mercury aspect ? I think people are right, prominent 7th house planet, moon-mercury and moon in a water sign usually indicate someone with great listening abilities. I have a very tight moon-mercury conjunction sitting on my descendant in the 7th and I love listening to people. Not necessarily to give advise or else but I just listen to what people say and pay a lot of attention to it (the intonation, the words they use and so forth) because I find it to say a lot about people. Oh, and I also love people who blabber nothing is more uncomfortable to me than people who don't talk and don't want to talk or listen because sure, I do listen but when I talk , if I'm comfortable enough around the person, I can talk A LOT And the best listener I ever knew has his sun in the 7th. and his venus squared my moon-mercury conjunction. I felt so understood. IP: Logged |

People not prone to talking...
Chiron in Gemini comes to mind, Saturn aspecting Mercury, maybe Saturn or Chiron in the 3rd. Possibly Mercury in the 12th? ------------------ Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius ASC, Year of the Earth Snake "The Manticore is a mythological creature that is half-lion and half-scorpion." IP: Logged |

You are the first Aqua Riser i have ever talked to knowingly. i guess you will meet one when your meant to but i hope soon
Pisces in my chart is intercepted in the 1st house.
Maybe I haven't met any because they are all too shy and don't come say hello? Oh, I forgot about Moonfish! I "technically" know her, does that count? lol I hope I meet one in RL soon as well I'm your first Aqua Riser! I am honored , you sure though? Nope no Moon-Mercury aspects; Mercury in Leo 4th house, Moon in Gemini 1st. Probably just my Sun, Jupiter and chiron in Cancer 3rd house with Pisces Decandents. I have Mercury conjunct Ceres 4th house

Interesting - My moon is in Pisces in 11th house & Mercury in Pisces in 12th house - Prob explains why listening to people's problems is what I do for a living! AND on the side as well...IP: Logged |

ahh ok flip that around then, to me people with planets in my 12th have some sort of a hold over me but once it hits my ascendant and on to 1st house, these 1st house people i think i have a hold over.I have come to this conclusion that all the people whos planets fall in your Fire houses naturally take initiative to get to know you. You are right they maybe be shy or over overwelmed by your presence at first, especially since they are Pisces influenced to begin with. My 1st house is Scorpio and people with significant stuff there are always good to me. They easily gravitate to me and actually always make me feel lively. So yeah, all the better with your Pisces moons then. a friendly hello on your part if you ever meet one wouldnt hurt though lol yes technically you do know Moonfish and she is a lovely example of Pisces Moon but still i think feeling peoples energy face to face can be completly different. yess thats why i said "knowingly", as in actually noticing you are one. You are the first one i have noticed interaction on my part with. ------------------ The love you seek, you will find within. IP: Logged |

Moon in Gemini. I don't believe in listening. Just talk. And talk. And talk over you while you're talking. Especially when you make no sense, in which case i want to do all tge talking. Mercury Trine Pluto. IP: Logged |

Depends on what one considers a good listener. Some people need to be heard and others want to be understood. I don't know whether people need one or the other but i like to find solutions and make it quick.I'll listen for a bit but i'll let it go shortly after it's discussed because i meet SOO many people almost on a daily basis; i've learned to stop listening to people who just sob and want to be ehard.. I refer them to a therapist but those that like to find solutions, i gladly offer my time and advice.. I guess it's because that's the kind of listening and understanding that i'd like to get from other people. I have the trine between jupiter and mercury. IP: Logged |

Wow that's intense i feel so bad for her... but yes I agree about the balance of pisces. I have some pretty masculine placements (mars conjunct sun-Pluto, and trine Asc) I feel like my Pisces placement softens it. IP: Logged |

@violet7887"lol yes technically you do know Moonfish and she is a lovely example of Pisces Moon but still i think feeling peoples energy face to face can be completly different." ^^^I agree, face to face is very different. This may be even more so for water moons as we feel things quite strongly in person. @Moonfish "and yes themanticore, I'd say we know eachother pretty well " ^^^Agreed ------------------ Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius ASC, Year of the Earth Snake "The Manticore is a mythological creature that is half-lion and half-scorpion." Yes it was, and I eagerly listened b/c imo, most people just really really want someone to talk to about things on their mind. I don't mind listening, BUT I'm also single, which gives me time to listen, when I'm in a relationship my partner finds that really annoying. IP: Logged |
