Curious about this, some aspect on one's chart means..listening is a second nature.Others..find it very boring to listen. Which aspects lead to the ability to listen (and perhaps counsel) and which are least likely to put away their own interests to listen to someone else? IP: Logged |

hands down Pisces Moon.you can talk for ever and they will listen. They are perfect for my Gemini Sun Cancer Moon to pour my heart oUt! Sometimes I keep talking and talking and realize a hour has passed and finally stop for a gasp of air and look at his face and am like "omg i'm so sorry, im doing it aagain, you should have told me to shut up! lol and he just says.. "no i think its cute, i can listen to you blabber all day!"... so yeah...def Pisces Moon for me, not to mention great at comforting. ------------------ The love you seek, you will find within. I'd say heavy water, although I have little to back it up.A stellium involving Mercury. Like, Moon-Mercury-Neptune or Moon-Mercury-Saturn, but that might make someone who over rationalizes their feelings as well. When I think of a "concentrating" person, I think of Saturn, because Mercury by itself is flighty and goes from one subject to another, skimming the surface where Saturn would be the anchor to help it focus it's energy. Pluto also, as it can fine tune it to look in depth. Pluto wants to encompass and fish out the "truth" so I would include Pluto. Moon-Neptune, Moon-Pluto, Moon-Saturn. Or replace Moon with Mercury. Uranus is shocking and erratic and insightful...but I wouldn't call it "attentive". As for house, 4th, 8th, and 12th house may be leaned towards understanding as these are emotional, water houses, but I'd focus on the last two more than the first. Signs are kinda here and there. Fire signs would technically be the worst listeners as they have that over-sized ego and attentiveness to their OWN problems, but I'd say Sagittarius has a chance, if they have a Scorpio Mercury or Capricorn Mercury to pick details. Virgo makes a good listener, as does Pisces. I'd advocate any of the mutable signs as they are the prime negotiators. These signs in a Sun or Moon or even Mercury. I hope this answer made sense, as it is speculation. IP: Logged |

Mercury in the 7th is the first one I think of. Probably a more patient sign or planets in the 3rd house? Mercury in Libra enjoys fair communication, in theory . Also patient planets in aspect to Mercury. ------------------ Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius ASC, Year of the Earth Snake "The Manticore is a mythological creature that is half-lion and half-scorpion." ^^ The person I speak does have Pisces Moon in the 7th house and his Moon trines Mercury... Manticore maybe you are onto something and has a Gemini Sun in the 10th House so there is saturn influence as pointed out by lazyscarecrow. Yup, explains why he is a good listner. ------------------ The love you seek, you will find within. IP: Logged |

Ah yeah that just reminded me, I had a therapist who was a Libra sun. I dunno why I didn't consider Libra, as they are very good listeners (and advisers) too. Might not be the same as 7th house placements but Libra is the ruler...IP: Logged |

Interesting, I am jealous of your moon in pisces experiences , I have not met a single one but from what you have said they sound great!

Ummm, I meant like the Moon and Venus, they are "softer" and "gentler" planets.
Whereas Mars and Jupiter might be considered impatient or excitable. ------------------ Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius ASC, Year of the Earth Snake "The Manticore is a mythological creature that is half-lion and half-scorpion." IP: Logged |

I would actually like to through in Gemini as well becasue we are pros at talking & listening due to curiosity. I would also like to add Scorpio in the list becasue all the Scorps i have known or know are so sweet and just as curious, they are good at convo and at listening as well. Cancer is pro at comforting as long as you havnt disrespected them in anyway! Then of course there is Pisces and Libra, same thing applies here as cancer, Pisces and Libras can both be mOOdy as hell. I know many. My sister is a Libra Sun, Taurus Moon and you would think she was a good listener lol but she has a very give me attention and then move on attitude. The placements and hard or easy aspects are really key here i think. ex. Pisces Moons are all good listeners but Pisces Suns can be moody. IP: Logged |

I have moon Pisces in the 12H I'm generally a good listener, but if your one of those ppl that are talking just to talk, and the story is not going anywhere, I'll eventually make up an excuse to leave. However anyone that has a problem and they need someone to hear them out, then I'm all ears IP: Logged |

aww, lol! you havnt met any? water moons usually have a way of easily finding each other..they are really sweet-hearted people, my 5th house is all Pisces maybe thats why they get reeled in easy..where does Pisces fall in your chart? either 12th or 1st since you are Aqua rising i can see. ouuuu and thats it right there. if its your 12th house then i dunno what to say people with moon in my 12th make me FEEL more than ever.kinda spiritual.kinda people i always remeber. now its exciting to see what your expereince with one will be like since your moons will also be compatible and not to mention it might be karmic for you if 12th(either way you will really feel them and have something really special with them). You are the first Aqua Riser i have ever talked to knowingly. i guess you will meet one when your meant to but i hope soon ------------------ The love you seek, you will find within. IP: Logged |

Mercury conjuct venus people are said to be good listeners. In my experience, mercury in libra, mercury in cancer have been good listeners. In my experience, mercury in scorpio and gemini people listen to you but generally hit you with some sarcastic conclusions after listening to the whole stuff.Mercury conjuct saturn seem usually quiet and come up with short“oh”,“uh huh”,“go on”.You never know whether the mercury in pisces/mercury in 12th are listening or lost in their own world, you may spend 30 mins telling them about an incident and in the end they tell“huh?”,“what?”.IP: Logged |

I've always been a very good listener! I have Mercury in Pisces in the 7th house. Many times i prefer staying in the background and just observe whats going on.IP: Logged |
