Im a sag with capricorn moon scorpio rising. Most of my planets are in capricorn and scorpio. Im a very assertive person, a little to assertive at times. My sag is the only fire I have which really only helps with how blunt I am. Just depends where planets are and placementIP: Logged |

I have to be pushed into being assertive, unless I feel physically threatened. I'm becoming more and more comfortable standing up for myself in those cases.I'm really afraid that if I'm honest with people when I'm upset, it'll hurt me socially. I don't want to be disliked.

I wouldn't say this about lack of Fire specifically. There are definitely compensating factors.

I'd say I am, at least I can be. And I'd attribute that mostly to my heavy Sag energies (many planets & asteroids) with Leo ascendant, but even Libra (and on the Scorpio cusp for me), which also heavily influences me (sun and many planets) is also a cardinal sign, even if I can frequently feel my Libra trying to reign in my Sag (which helps best when Libra decides firmly--and hopefully realistic--on what's to be achieved, what's acceptable, is it worth it, etc, and keeping all that firmly in mind, otherwise my Sag can get me to express myself when it's not the best idea). Mars-Uranus. Impose on their freedom and you are DOOMED. They assertive themselves uniquely and sometimes unexpectedly. A tornado out of no where! I wrote an article about it on Brown Owls forum. 'My way or the highway' when you might think all is well, and they are not afraid to assert this philosophy. Mars-Mercury. For verbal forcefulness. The square can cause random explosions from built up tensions. The conjunction and trine might be easier but still a bit difficult. Lack of fire could be one possible issue. Moon sq. Sun in males could make them have a hard time asserting themselves with the opposite sex, maybe. IP: Logged |

Same here. My Virgo Sun and Mars are conjunct in the 10th. I am not afraid to speak up, though am seldom argumentative. I firmly say what needs to be said, make my point and that's it. I detest tactless arguments. I'm also a fire void, though I certainly don't lack in resoluteness. The classical ruler of Scorpio (my Asc.) is Mars so that also helps. IP: Logged |
