I actually really liked the Venus retro article that you posted Sand. It feels A LOT more true to me than most of the interpretations I've read on Venus retro (of course, that's mostly because the Venus retro interpretations are some variation on how the retro Venus person 'abused the love principle' in a past life and are now paying for it in this one which is total bunk IMHO). Still somewhat hit and miss, but I liked most of it. Definitely retro planets are about the energies turning inward. What I liked about the Venus retro article is that it noted in big bold letters: PEOPLE MAKE ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT YOU. This is true for everyone to some extent of course, but for me it usually feels like it happens a lot more often, and it is BECAUSE I turn my social/relating energies inward. I'm more introverted, and even though I excel in social situations because I am an empathic listener, I rarely ever reveal a lot about myself. So other people will make incorrect assumptions because they don't actually know all that much about me as a person. They don't know that I hold integrity, honesty, loyalty, and empathy to the highest standards in myself and others. It is very surprising to me sometimes the things I hear other people say about me when they have NO IDEA of the truth. The upside is that usually when people are making an incorrect assumption about me, it is because it is based on how THEY would approach the situation... So I learn something about them anyway. I have Mars rx... I usually have more energy at night. I get the urge to tan and go swimming when the weather's fair (meaning right in the beginning or mid-fall).. I feel like cleaning AFTER company has come and went. I like to workout in the middle of the night and not in the day. I abhor heat! And when transit mars go rx i usually feel so much at ease.IP: Logged |

Wow Mars Retro is kind of rare, I think. I never heard it explained, that way.
Do you have any unaspected planets.(I know it is off topic, but you explained the Retro so well, I was curious :joker

^^ all my life i'm asked if i know i'm 'peculiar'. no idea why people often think so! to them i'm a brick wall because i don't say much/am deeply private.Uranus in H1 makes people stare at me when i enter a pub or restaurant? lol why?! my clothes and i blend into the pavement for god's sake. ps: oops Lilith 2°57' Scorpio IP: Logged |

...not exactly - generally speaking you can relate Jupiter with the defining sign: Sagittarius - and their will for expansion, both from a spiritual point of view and life experience (they do love to travel don't they)... - but in a natal chart - "you have a specific placement for Jupiter (house/sign) and that shows in which area you can expand" - if Jupiter is in House 2 - then yes, it can imply material/financial growth (if it's positively aspected)... wile in Retrograde - it should imply inner growth... as in: you can be a hobo "with a rich life experience" and you won't feel like "lacking" in terms of self-growth... wile "money alone" can make you feel poor even if you made a fortune - like those that strive to make more and more and inside - they feel poor... cause money can't fill their inner growth. I do speak before I think occasionally, but only when I'm hurt. Otherwise most of the things I say are carefully thought out if not written down first, especially if I'm talking to a group. The only time this guard is let down is when I'm around people who have known me a long time and I don't have to worry about how they're going to react to what I say. I trust them to love me anyway
I talk to myself, in my head, a lot 
I've always expressed myself better with writing than spoken words.
I definitely felt misunderstood as a child by my peers, but I think it was because I was put into situations that made me nervous ALL THE TIME. Being put on the spot for an immediate answer or opinion in school, even by other kids, made me uncomfortable, it still does depending on the subject matter. I've learned though not to hold back and to say what needs to be said. And sometimes I have to focus and pull out my Leo ASC to help accompany my Merc Rx thru situations that it finds terrifying. I've been doing it all along with a fair amount of ease w/o even knowing it because of the trine between the two!
The Pluto section struck home (no pun intended) for me especially...

Pluto Rx is in my 4th house and I have gone to great extremes to seperate myself from most of my blood family minus a few key people that actually stand out and shine as good people. I, even at a young age, felt that they were vile, mean people and that I didn't want anything to do with them and the bad juju they seemed to bring with them. I was actually seperated from them in 2 ways: at 14 months I was adopted by my great aunt and uncle and moved 900 miles away. Then there was the lack of contact that later ensued. I'm not sorry for it at all. My opinion that I formed long ago of my blood family still stays with me and is in fact reinforced occasionally through their own actions. I've made a close knit circle of friends my family. People who's values and morals at least coincide with my own.
I also liked that it gave ideas to deal with retrograde planets. How to overcome the obstacles that it seems to lay down.

apparently I'm the odd one out here, my NN is direct. And it's opposite my Pluto retro..where are my psychic powers? (being blocked by my smoking habit according to some)All of my fiance's planets are direct which i thought might be a little uncommon. with his Saturn conj ASC and his Uranus both in the first house, I'm glad. Otherwise he might've been impossible to get to know As it is though, this explains why he's a little impatient when I need to internalize things. ------------------

(yep, i'm stern and inflexible. as a female i have no female 'friends'.) this i want to know... ok, i don't normally like to look at strangers in the eye (most people are dead to me), but when i do they avert their eyes but in a creepy manner. also, i sometimes 'catch' people looking at me as if in a trance, again in a creepy way. ------------

I have Saturn in Pisces, in H3, retrograde. It trines my Scorp Venus+Jupiter+NN. It semi-squares Neptune&Uranus. It squares my ASC. I don't really know quite how this manifests for me... I feel it is even worse since I have Saturn as my retro planet, the planet that already struggles with being rather difficult in the chart. I feel that having it in the 3rd makes me a very deep and intelligent thinker... one who is also obsessed with achieving 11th house goals through the way I write and speak [since my Scorpio planets are in the 11th and it trine my NN]. I've done research on Saturn Rx and it is described as an 'old soul' in a person which I feel is so true - and wherever Saturn Rx is in your chart you will demonstrate an exaggerated sense of wisdom and responsibility for the matters of the house. E.g., I always felt the need to speak up and mediate situations, writing is extremely important to me and I am and unusually profound and well-spoken for barely 18 [so I've been told ]. Someone I know with Saturn Rx in the 6th has such an extreme, detailed and dedicated work ethic that they will never rest until the job is done... the seriousness they have for their work rivals someone in their 40s and they are only 21. What does your Mars do? Aspect, house and sign wise? Maybe, you have a Mars in Scorpio or another favorable kind of placement and

I don't have my north node in retrograde maybe I am the odd ball.....nah I learned my karmic lesson no more taking over empires and forcing people to adopt kitties. I have Saturn in 9th house, Pluto in 6th, Uranus and Neptune in the 8th in Retrograde. IP: Logged |
