Also the 7th house isn't the only thing that plays a role in our attractions. What the7th house only shows is who we feel is our best compliment, and who we like and feel completed by…. The 5th house opens the door to romance, and shows what makes someone exciting to us. Who ‘wow’s us. The 8th house explains what we look for in deep intimate connections. How we want to be privately cared for within the relationship. And the Vertex Axis (both ends) shows who gives us that feeling of fated love... And scary synchronicity.Usually our partners have natal charts that resonate with all three of these houses, and the Vertex Axis in some way… Or at least our ideal partner would have this.

Yes yes and yesI love capricorn traits BUT I don't find myself attracted to or get along with them at all. Maybe it's just the bad experience with the caps I've encountered and the ones in my family plus the one who's dating my mom, but it just doesn't work lol. Oh and I second the whole business suit thing... Words can't even explain how attractive that is to me lol.

Lotis, where'd u read that? Sounds interesting. I'd like to know more about it. For me nothing is more romantic than a shmexy, passionate, highly sexual arian type, and the gemini ruling my 8th and pisces ruling my 5th doesnt seem to do much for me...yes, i love poetry but it's not the key to my heart. I also love wittiness, but the key to my heart is just that! being happy, energetic and really passionate and sexual. ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

Hmm...Taurus on the DSC. Tauruses usually love me but I don't typically return the feelings. I guess I do kinda like some of their traits...being physical, sensual, and laid back..but I actually like the qualities of my own Venus (ruler of my DSC), which is in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

The first time I encountered this type of information was in the book 'When Will You Marry' an astrology book by Rose Murry (She mentioned the 5th house, along with the DSc in attraction)... From then on my passion for investigating romantic taste using astrology as grown. And my approach has become more subtle and complex as time has gone on. I did tons of research, reading articles and studying my friends, myself, and celebrities and such to gain more insight... Here's the crux of what I've learned... From an astrological perspective, the 5th house is the ROMANCE/COURTSHIP period of the relationship, where we fall in love, and observe how special and unique the other person is. The 7th house is the MARRIAGE/COMMITMENT period of the relationship, where we relate as individuals, exchange appreciation, and make agreements… And the 8th house is the CONSUMATION/MERGING OF RESCOURCES period of the relationship, where after the being ‘united as one‘ officially, we become interdependent on each other through the sharing of ourselves and our stuff. Here’s a more detailed guide for examining the symbolism of …THE THREE RELATIONSHIP HOUSES THE 5TH HOUSE… The 5th house cusp and ruler, plus planets in the 5th … Show who is romantically exciting to you, who impresses you, and who is the ’Apple of our Eye’. This house is the one in charge of romantic sparks, infatuation, adoration, and the epic saga of your personal love story… With a certain special someone. THE 7TH HOUSE… The 7th house cusp and ruler, plus planets in the 7th house…Show who gives you feelings of sweet affection, warmth, established acceptance, and completion…. As if they offer you what you ‘need’ in a partner. The 7th house is not always exciting like the 5th house, rather it represents who you LIKE, and want relate to as a partner and friend in your daily existence. THE 8TH HOUSE… And last but not least, the 8th house cusp and ruler, plus planets in the 8th… Show who attracts you in an intriguing, magnetic type of way… Here you want to figure the other person out, and merge with them in the most deep, intimate way possible. This house is where we share ourselves, and what we have to offer, with another physically, emotionally, and financially… to the point where our lives are inextricably intertwined. (Note: for all of these houses also take into account the sign next along after the cusp sign, if a large part of that sign falls into the 5th, 7th or 8th house.) Partners whose natal charts reflect the characteristics of these houses will be those who are most attractive to us. The more they reflect this back to us the stronger the attraction will be… The people who reflect, or influence, these houses in our charts bring the THEMES of these houses vividly alive for us. There are THREE major ways to connect with your partner’s chart using these houses… 1. Sign/Planet/House Matching (Symbolism Matching). e.g. you have a Leo Dsc and they have strong Leo/5th house/Sun in the chart. 2. House Overlays. 3. Aspects to the House Cusp Rulers. For the symbolism matching part look at the sign on the cusp, the position of it's ruler (sign/house/aspects), and planets sitting within the house itself... To get a complete image of the energy we look for in that area of life. Also, I've found that using placidus house cusps works best for this particular area of astrological study... The 7th house has the strongest pull because it is an angular house, while the 5th and the 8th houses accessorize our taste. IP: Logged |

Nope. I'm attracted more to Scorpionic/Plutonian guys. My DSC is Leo.I think really what a person is attracted to is a total chart thing. I have a pile-up (stellium) in the 8th - including Pluto - and Venus parallel Pluto, my chart ruler is in Scorpio and conjunct Lilith, and Mars in aspect to Pluto. Take all that into account and my attraction makes sense. IP: Logged |

I love TAURUS and taurean traits. Hands down my favorite males. I like their steadiness, practicality, and honesty. So yes their traits too. In general I only date fixed suns. I have dated some people that weren't and it didn't go over as well, specifically if their moon isn't either. The more fixed the better. PS My moon is conjunct my DC by 20 minutes. And I'm triple fixed. If I haven't posted that enough times IP: Logged |

I have Aqua on my 5th House Cusp. I am not attracted to Aqua, at all. It is the sign which grates on me the most, actually.I would look at the sign on the 5th house in a larger context. I would say that I am attracted to people who are Uranian, in that they can be their own person, rather than follow a conventional drummer. What do you all think about that? Maybe, I should start a new thread ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

My DSC is Sagittarius, perhaps the best of of putting it is whoever lacks these qualities comes across as not-so-desirable. It is a must that a person should act cool and independent, have opinions of their own etc. etc. i love charisma, energy, all that saps who will tag along after me sharing my opinions stand zero chance, neither as friends nor as anything else. saps who nag stand no chance. this is essentially anti-Jupiter, and by coincidence what i hate most about people. shyness, weakness, humility - all of these are massive turn-offs IP: Logged |

I'm always attracting Aquarians. And they always like me, regardless of sex, educational background or race. They're a little bit too wild for me, but they're a lot of fun! IP: Logged |

I am heavy cancer and pluto so i dont do pushy really well. The males do have something i really admire in a man, they are open and have little insecurities, and confidence is sexy. The females I either love or hate( no clue why). But what my heart craves is a gentlemen of a man with a tender-heart. So i wouldnt say Aries is my ideal in a partner.
You put that very well

my DC is in Scorpio, i am not very much into them. however, my neptune is the only planet in 7th. i definitely fall for neptunian people (moon-venus-sun piscis) or with some strong neptunian aspect to personal planets.IP: Logged |

I have both in Pisces. And if there is one sign I usually am not very curious about and try to avoid, it's Pisces. They do nothing for me. Some are nice but they make me uncomfortable. I rather spend my time with somebody else. IP: Logged |

It's also important to look at the rulers of the house cusps... what are Neptune and Jupiter doing in your chart? (by sign, house, aspects).... Also look at what is going on with your 12th house (sign on the cusp, and the position of it's ruler). The sign Pisces is symbolically linked to the 12th house... And I have noticed a lot of Pisces Dsc people do appreciate a Leo energy... Leo is usually on the 12th house for Pisces Dsc, although sometimes it's Cancer or Virgo depending on the Asc degree. Any planets in the 7th and the 12th houses could be quiet illuminating on your taste. The 5th house is part of your attraction pattern as well (Cusp sign, house ruler, planets in the 5th). And if there is a lot of Aries in your 8th house it's worth taking into consideration. IP: Logged |

Yes.mines virgo* looking back... my first play friend when I was 4 was a virgo and it was cool because he was a boy and we never fought , we were like partners in crime. growing up I had a few virgo friends in school that bonded with me instantly, still, no problems. my best friends mom is a virgo and she would put down all her friends and life in general, the biggest nag everrr, yet.. I secretly thought she was entertaining and funny (weird? I know) then now the only man I've ever considered to marry in my whole 29 years of living is a virgo man but it's hard say if it's the DC that attracts me to them, cause it could be my capricorn sun idk but I can say this... for some reason, and I have absolutely no virgo in my chart whatso ever, I act like one?? clean freak/very picky/detailed/ love to serve others.... it's umm.. weird now that I think about it. OHHH Something just hit me. We project out our 7th House( in my experience doing charts) so why not that we project out our SIGN on the DSC? This makes perfect sense to me, as I have no Aries planets but I do value standing up for what you believe to a very, very great degree. It is one of the things I respect most in a person. There, we see another "use" of the DSC. What do you all think? To sum it up, we respect the traits of the sign on the DSC and incorporate them into ourselves, as we mature. I think we do this as a maturation process, perhaps. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
