Scorpio sits on my DSC and I do find myself attracted to some of those traits. Depth, intensity, passion, etc. Just about all of the guys I've ever crushed on had an aspect between their Sun and Pluto.Just haven't been in a relationship with a Scorpio (yet)! IP: Logged |

With a Virgo DC, a detail-oriented, grounded, and humble partner really appeals to me. I've read that a Virgo DC can mean a Woody Allen neuroses type of partner. lol No thanks!

Well, a Virgo DSC may not be an actual Woody Allen Each sign has it's exaggerations and this is ,probably, one for Virgo. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I attract men with scorpionic traits but it goes against the grain with my venus aquarius. The push pull affect drives me crazy because I love that intensity but then the rational side of my air signs kicks in and I feel suffocated. IP: Logged |

I am so drawn to the sign of my dsc that most of the friends i make are aries. The ones who arent definitely have strong aries traits (even if they dont have any aries in their chart)...assertive, nature lovers, go getters, very enthusiastic and energetic, charming, impatient, leaders, pioneers, attention seeking, cant sit still etc...finding out about my dsc helped me understand why i feel so very depressed around shy people. i could not for the life of me figure it out before, since i always figured we'd be more compatible, but i realized I need someone to complement me, not be like me! I have a had a few close shy friends before, but those were interestingly enough still the leaders in the friendship. I do know a couple of other libra risings who arent drawn to aries-like people at all, though. weird. ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

Well, the majority of my 7th house is Gemini, as my descendant is 25° Taurus. I've only been attracted to a couple of Taurus men. Two were both witty and funny, not particularly attractive physically, but once they appeal to my mind it overrides all preconceived notions of what 'sexy' is. They both had planets in Gemini, so I found them intriguing to say the least. The only other Taurus guy I found myself attracted to was one of my TAs. His Sun was exactly 25° Taurus, and he had a Gemini Moon. He had a quiet air of sophistication and intelligence about him, which he was. He dressed to my taste, almost a male me in terms of dress. We made eye contact only a few times, and there was a mutual 'clicking' between us. I won't call it 'eye f***ing' because I hate that term, but you get the idea. Anyway, every time he opened his mouth to talk to the class, he exuded this smug pretentiousness that turned me way off, so the initial attraction went out the window for me. IP: Logged |

about our dsc driving us crazy. no, i think the people who have what we dont need drive us crazy, but those who complement us make us feel whole. The aries suns i know who are arrogant and have tempers and douchey tendencies are not what i need and definitely not my complement but the aries sun friends and the friends represented by my aries dsc who are independent, assertive, energetic, go getters etc totally make me feel balanced and whole. there was no worse feeling than being with someone who was so shy they forced ME to take the lead...something i am so not accustomed to. Being supportive to someone else who took the lead felt like heaven. The people who forced me to take the lead definitely made me pull my hair out and drove me crazy, but the people who truly embodied the aries dsc traits felt like heaven.------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

I find Geminis to be big flakes in the dating department, but I do love mental stimulation..not superficial conversation but of a deeper nature. I love conversation. Gemini men are hot, but I can't see more than a fling with one. They tend to chase Capricorns, Scorpios and Pisces anyway, lol. :P And I am none of those signs.Tbh I find that my attraction nature depends more on my Cancer 8th house. And when people have their planets touching my Mercury (7th house ruler) that is also a manifestation. Many of my friends have Gemini planets or Gemini-natures. They are airy, talk fast, superficial, and rather lax on commitment...I attract lots of people like this. Mutable. IP: Logged |

i think its more important to look at the actual balance that the people in your life bring to you by your dsc sign. It doesnt matter whether they are that sign or not, or are even remotely like that sign at all. It is they qualities that you PERCEIVE that they bring to you. Everyone's dsc relevantly describes what complements them and brings them balance. It's not a question of IF, but of getting the person to understand HOW and WHY. And possibly.. who ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

I think we are always attracted to the traits of our Dsc Sign to some extent. And I mean the qualities, not always the sign itself. In my case my Dsc is Gemini is on the Dsc and I’m really attracted to witty, intelligent, talkative men… But not necessarily Gemini itself. Although, I have been attracted to Gemini placements in the past, not every guy that I’ve gone for has had personal placements in Gemini…. I quite enjoy Gemini placements as long as they are combined with other things that add passion, enthusiasm, the ability to be considerate, stability, and a responsible attitude. (I’m a Cap with Cancer Moon and a bunch of fire in my chart) Also, when we look at our Dsc, I think it’s important to consider the placement of the planet ruling the Dsc, and any planets in the 7th house. These will modify our taste.

There are many of these on the internet. And as much as i tried, i couldnt find one that described just why we needed these qualities integrated into our own personality. For example, i attract the assertive charming go getters because i need to learn how to be less passive and the only way i can be more confident is to know what qualities i should model in social situations. these people teach me the qualities i can model, which help me speak out not be passive.I wish this link would explain things more along those lines so ya'll can become aware of what your friends and acquaintances bring to you and why you are drawn to them, and they to you, but this is good enough for now.. http://visforvirgo.tribe.net/thread/9fa696e6-b945-4ab7-97cf-6e6455316fa6 ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

yeah exactly, lotis, it's not that u are drawn to those signs or placements, but just those qualities, because they teach you what you need to integrate into your own personality.it's hard to realize by ourselves, though, without reading a description that points it out to us first. That's why it's important to research what your descendant sign means in terms of who you feel completed by. EDIT: if you have gemini dsc that also means you like guys with varied interests because you tend to look at the forest instead of the trees, they tend to miss the forest for the trees and bring variety and superficial interests into your life, while you give them the big picture. they help you to stop being so bent on changing the world haha and just accepting things as they are and enjoying superficial interests here and there and just letting your mind wander and become curious about scattered subjects that may not add to anything substantial in your "grand philosophy of life" ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

I think this is true. Even with my approach to astrology my mind automatically zeros in on the core theme of things rather then all the random, trivial details that surround that ‘theme’…. I’ve got a knack for capturing the essence of things. I think the reason Gemini types ‘complete’ me is that the do supply all the random details that I’m looking for to add into the framework of my ‘grand theory’ type of thing. This also extends beyond Gemini energy itself to my third house…. I’ve noticed I really enjoy people with personal placements in my third house… Aqua, ruled by Uranus in Scorpio…. They have a way of supplying me with all kinds of interesting information that I’m able to incorporate into my framework perspective… I feel as if I make a good team with such people, like we are two sides of the same coin…. The intellectual coin… and that, yes, they complete me in a way. Interestingly, I’ve got Jupiter in the 7th, and my Dsc is ruled by Mercury in Sag, which resonates strongly with my Asc…. It’s like I’m looking for someone who is the same, and confirming with me in some ways and yet completely opposite in other ways… like while they agree with me on some levels, they can also offer a fresh perspective that I may not have even thought of.

I agree with what you're saying RunAroundScreaming. It's interesting though in my case, my Taurus descendant isn't that far off from who I am. I have an Earthy, dependable Sun (Virgo) and a Venusian ruled Moon, Merc. and Venus (Libra). I don't feel that I have to stretch that much to attain any particular traits of my descendant, though I understand that a lot of people do, and it is challenging. I enjoy a stable relationship, as I have been the last 8 1/2 years, and it's lasting partially because the varied qualities of my 7th house (mostly Gemini), which my partner's Moon is in, are being fulfilled. Lotis! exactly. yes that is true as well. that is also a common description of gemini vs sagittariusMadameButterfly, yes i have leo moon, mars and venus and jupiter singleton in gemini so i can feel like i have aries qualities as well sometimes...impulsive, chatty, enthusiastic, adventurous....but it still doesnt deny the fact that the way i approach the world (my ascendant) is libran. I think that you may very well be dependable and all, but scorpio asc still is obsessed with finding out the truth and mystery about things and people and is much too private sometimes...and is too obsessed with self control and power over others sometimes, as well as self-improvement....taurus doesnt care about these things at all and they give freely though a common problem u both have is jealousy and possessiveness. But you still need that easygoing nonemotional careless approach of the taurean which brings aesthetics into your life and matter of fact practical open book solutions. it gives you a break from being so obsessed with finding the fly in the ointment. ------------------ $3.50 ebay compatibility readings | testimonials | Past readings IP: Logged |

It is true, I am a very private person and I need those relaxed, down to earth qualities of the Bull. But jealous and possessive... ooohh... those two words make me shudder. They are traits that I certainly do not exhibit. I've met a lot of Scorps and Tauruses who have though. There once was a time though, when my biggest Scorpio trial was perhaps expecting too much of an emotional investment in friendship, and consequently was disappointed. I learned to not have such high expectations in others, and really for once embraced the words "Let it be". That was Paul's Taurus Venus talking, no doubt. IP: Logged |

I agree with RAS. I have a leo dsc. and my 7th house ruler is conjunct mars. There was this guy who had leo/aries traits, at first I didn't like him but then many years later I was attracted to him and I didn't know why. Now that I look back, the reason why I wanted him was because he had all the traits that I lacked. He is the strong, bold assertive aries/leo and I was the shy pisces that let everyone walk all over me. I admired him and I wanted to be like him...But I had to let go to find my own identity. Same here. I find them dull and cold, stiff and bossy too and I can't take that. I only like the no-nonsense attitude. I'm good friends with Cappy women. They treat me like a best friend and I like it.
