I should add there is nothing wrong with materialism but imo the key is finding a balance between the two polarities (material and spiritual), you want to enjoy and embrace the material without becoming too attached to it.

There is the physical body, the mental body and the energy body, you don't want to over identify with your physical body or your mental body but you also need your spirit/soul which I see as the energy body to be integrated and at peace with your physical body so you can feel grounded and enjoy your experience of being human, you want your body and spirit to be nicely integrated and working together, it not an unbalance occurs that leads to issues.
