In all of my relationships, I've always been accused of being "too intense". What aspects in the chart could indicate that? In the chart, where my asc is at the degree as time remembered by my mom, I have 3 planets and my NN in the 8th house. In my rectified chart, I have a Sco MC. Which one is more likely to contribute to the intensity? Are there aspects in one's chart who makes that person intense? I'm often told that "I don't miss anything" Is that Pluto? Saturn? I'm using it in the sense of: Being focused, serious, follow a single course, being high strung, not missing anything, expecting people to live up to yours and their own expectations, AND being humorless about it. Yikes.IP: Logged |

You can also add Saturn to the pile, because of the things you mentioned like focus, expecting others to live up to your expectations etc. (at least how they view you).IP: Logged |

oh and yes, of course Scorpio MC definitely fits in there big time. Especially with its ruler in the 8th house. Very introspective and sometimes others may feel like they are being x-rayed.IP: Logged |

Hi Ceri, According to my mom, I was born with a late Aqua rising which will put my MC in Sag and my Moon, Pluto, Uranus and NN is the 8th. According to a chart rectification someone did for me, I'm Sco MC and all the planets stay in the 8th, xept Uranus, which moves to the 9th. I know that both a loaded 8th house and a Sco MC can give me the intensity. I was just wondering if anyone else here is perceived as intense and what the astrological culprits may be. Certain placements? Aspects? Saturn's dancing on my Moon right now and making me very cranky and depressed but also INQUISITIVE. LOL. IP: Logged |

Is there any chance of you being a scorpio moon?In my experience, scorpio moons are the most intense among all scorpio placements, moon in scorpio would fit your scenario perfectly, dont miss a thing, intense in relationships. One difference I have noticed between 8H moon and scorpio moon is that 8H moon show their intense feelings only to those who are really close with them whereas scorpio moon’s intense emotions really appear on the surface most of the time, which one can you relate to?IP: Logged |

I can relate to both. BUT. I'm a Sag with a forceful Leo Mars so it get's more complicated. LOL. Tell me about your intensity, anonymidarkness. Who can handle you? IP: Logged |

Interestingly enough, the only person I've been with who was more intense than me was a Sco Sun conj. Venus and Uranus. But that was hell on wheels. I'm thinking Cappie placements can handle my darkness in some way but Cappies have their own brand of depression that I can't handle. LOL. With me, the intensity is more short lived and passionate. Having said that, I NEVER forget a slight. As petty as that sounds. I will wait years to see myself vindicated. Not necessarily do something but just wait it out. That sound like Sco MC? LOL. Could Venus square Saturn be intense in relationships? IP: Logged |

Yeah caps can handle intensity pretty well. The person that had venus/pluto had 5 planets in cap.Being vindictive is again scorpio moon/moon in 8H trait,Scorpio MC does not make one vindictive,it makes one interested in careers that include searching, investigating, getting to the bottom of things etc.Venus square saturn does not make one intense, difficult placement,it may make one feel unworthy of love, may make them think that they have to earn love,I have venus conjunct saturn and its similar.I think you are either a scorpio moon or a libra moon in 8th(libra :relationships + moon in 8th:intensity=intense in relationships) BUT that being vindictive is a scorpio trait(I have scorpio ascendant and I am vindictive as well) and I dont think libra moon would make you vindictive. Intensity is generally related to Scorpio, Pluto and to a lesser extent the 8th house. What aspects does your Pluto do? Is it a singleton / angular? Is it prominent? I wouldn't in any way associate Saturn with intensity, but that's probably because intensity to me is being extreme in emotions, interests, and especially in (significant) relationships. That to me, is all Pluto. Saturn on the other hand is about restricting, moderating, being in control. Just my pov.

Please don't quote me. I feel VERY...well, a word that rhymes with "witchy" right now. I get that all the time--that I'm "too intense". I have to I have to constantly bury my expressiveness and be a perfect little Stepford robot because people refuse to face their emotions and deal with intensity. I resent it, highly. I have Venus conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, in the 12th. Also have an 8th house moon, and a grand trine in water. FML. IP: Logged |

If you're from the generation with Pluto around 21 degrees Libra, then yeah it does. Sure, it's a WIDE conjunction, but it's still a conjunction nonetheless. IP: Logged |

There you go..both sun sextile pluto and mars sextile pluto can make you intense..I have sun square pluto and mars square pluto and its hard for me to control my intensity,as sextile makes it easy for you to control your intensity I think you probably have lot of self-control over your intensity and emotions.I also have pluto conj. NN but I havent found much info about it. IP: Logged |

Yin,Pretty cool, your Pluto is right on my Sun. I'm not sure a sextile to the Sun and Mars would make you very intense, but it definitely does add to it, for sure. And I agree with anon, it would make it easier for you to control your reactions, unlike the hard aspects. Plus, if Pluto conjuncts your NN, you're "meant to" feel intense about things, and transform yourself and the world around in a positive (or negative) way. Is Pluto the only planet in a water sign?
Also, if it really is in the 8th, its natural house, it is more powerful and "at ease". The only "problem" would be the Moon there, cause it's not very comfy, usually, in the 8th. IP: Logged |

Yin,Saturn on Moon - phew, Ir emember when it was opposing my Moon - I HATED it so much, was really cranky and depressed, and wanted to isolate me totally. Well, I only associated Saturn with intensity in your case, because you mentioned how focused you are, and the thing about the expectations. That could very much be a Saturnian trait as well. Saturn lacks the emotionalism of Pluto`s intensity though.

Pluto is in Libra. I have other outer planets in water signs. Like the ruler of my Sun. Yikes. Also, if it really is in the 8th, its natural house, it is more powerful and "at ease". Ohhh, I like that.
The only "problem" would be the Moon there, cause it's not very comfy, usually, in the 8th. Yeah, the Moon stays in the 8th even with the rectified chart. Also, my Moon opposed Chiron in the 2nd. I'd say that has a HUGE impact on my life. So, Pluto is the culprit, huh? Well, Pluto in my chart IS well aspected so you'd think I can tone it down a notch. The problem is that intensity is what makes me feel alive. Why would anyone want to live any other way? People tell me that I need to chill. I say: Why not live, burn, feel, express, desire? Hence my original question: Who can handle this? Plutonians only? Why is it so unbearable to be intense? IP: Logged |

Ceri! You get it! (You always do, Saggie sista. ♥ ) Saturn right now is making me feel SO low I want to curl up somewhere and cry myself to death. Nothing is working out in my personal life. I feel miserable and betrayed. My relationship is at a standstill with no promises of progress and I just want to feel sorry for myself. When I express those emotions in the only way I know how - animatedly, breathlessly, with lots of passion, I get the "chill out" comment. So, Pluto always stands by me, helping me with the passion but when I try to express my very strong current Saturn transit, I scare people off. (Doesn't help that Saturn is strong in my chart as well.) IP: Logged |
