I don't think anyone has 'bad taste', it's everyone's own individuality and expression.. Clothes are an extension of your personality~ Nothing bad about that IP: Logged |

Venus Square Asc (This girl) I can look pretty tacky but I try to go with basics when I go out. At home my comfy clothes never match. IP: Logged |

I once saw a chick who i swear must've killed 7 hens for her shirt. I wasn't sure whether i should boil her or toss her into the air to see if she could fly. IP: Logged |

"taste" i guess is a construct of living in a society so it is in a sense conformist.. IP: Logged |

i see...cant think of anything..maybe too much aqua/uranus in women or too much venus in a man..according to me anyway. both of these can have really good extremes and really bad extremes. too much aqua/uranus in a women gone bad = likes to wear anything thats looks different, like will walk into a store and pick up the first thing that looks torn up and unwashed. too much venus in a man gone wrong = wears floral shirts and wears his scarfs a little too tight around the neck. lol well in that case, i would just give in and let you where what ever you want. and btw i was just sayin that is what might be considered "asthetically abromal" for males and females in general. i could really care less, everybody should rock what they like! IP: Logged |

I think too it depends on what people consider 'bad taste'.Personally, I don't like anything too cray-cray or freaky-looking. I like suits, glamour, elegance, polish, classic beauty. I like a lot of looks from the 1950s. That's my sort of aesthetic. I'm not a believer in the "wear what you want" philosophy if it goes too far. It's one thing to do unusual accessories or something in small doses. However, at other times, too much crazy doesn't look nice. On top of that, you do have to consider where you are and what's appropriate for that occasion. It would not be appropriate to wear pajamas to an office, or scrubs out to dinner, or jeans to a corporate job. People aren't going to take you seriously if you don't look the part. If you're doing to do a crazy print or accessories, to me it's better to have the rest of the outfit be tame and not go overboard. Crazy is really best left for comic-con, Halloween, costume parties, etc., to me. IP: Logged |

why?its true. everybody has different tastes, people like different colors etc. as an example I like the way I look in denim shirts, most people hate denim shirts but I don't give a fuk, I wear what I like.by the same token I think goth people look ridiculous, but thats only my opinion, just because I don't like the things they wear doesn't mean they aren't "fashionable". another fashion trend that baffles me is guys wearing skinny jeans, but women seem to like it. I tend to lean that way too. I would say that clothes are an extension of personality, BUT that doesn't mean to just "wear whatever". It's important to choose things that look nice to make a good impression, have people take you seriously, and just for the satisfaction of knowing that you look nice. Plus, again, some things are not appropriate to wear at all, and others are appropriate in some contexts and not others. IP: Logged |
