Whenever my friend would read synastry charts for me and I would have this aspect with the other person, she'd get super excited. I didn't think it's that big of a deal because they are outer planets but she said this was somewhat like a "soul mate" aspect. What do you think? I've never seen any kind of Saturn aspect as "soul matey".

there was a thread on this a while ago.
And one website describes it as karmic soulmate aspect.

I believe that if you have this with other strong saturn contacts or if you were born years apart then it has a lot of significance.

I have this with nearly everybody I come in contact with though! Doesn't feel like it should be that "special" if it's just a generational coincidence. Then again I haven't checked out the thread yet.

I also have it with a lot of people, because in my own chart saturn and Neptune are just 4° degrees apart.
Yet, I truly think that if you have other major saturn contact such as venus-saturn, moon-saturn, sun-saturn, or angle-saturn then it is indicative of a certain theme and past life bond.
I think that what the author meant when she said saturn-neptuen aspect in karmic relationship. I think she meant relationship that already have karmic aspects AND have this saturn-Neptune aspect.
I am not sure that the saturn-neptune aspect means a lot if it is the only aspect though, unless you're not from the same generation.

I've had the aspect in synastry, twice.

The second time was nice.. There were other aspects for it, though... The first time, it was not.

They ridiculed most of all neptune related things in my life.

In defense, though.. That aspect would have their saturn squaring my mars.
