i'd say yes coz beauty is about proportion. a libra thing perhaps. you could also have planets in air houses or aspects that modify you planets.IP: Logged |

Well, to have some sort of Venus-ASC is always helpful in looking attractive in many cases, or Venus on your chart ruler. Libra [and Taurus] rules Venus so that's one Air influence. I have an hour glass shape, naturally good proportions and an almost perfectly symmetrical face. I have Venus in Scorpio conjunct my chart ruler Jupiter in Scorpio. I have Venus trine Saturn and Saturn sq. ASC in the 3rd house of Gemini, Air sign, which gives me a very structured face with high cheekbones. IP: Logged |

One doesn't have to have hourglass to be proportional. IP: Logged |

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My Moon and Venus in gemini are in my 1& 2nd house and my moon is conjunct my Taurus ASC. I'd say air give you proportion and long limbs.IP: Logged |

Cindy Crawford has a huge Pisces Stellium (Sun, Moon, Mercuyr, MC, Mars, Saturn, Chiron) and is a Cancer Rising. Only air in her chart is Jupiter (detriment in Gemini).Linda Evangelista also has no air except for Jupiter and NN, both detriment in Gemini. Although, we don't know what her birthtime is so her ASC COULD be in Air. Lara Stone only has Mars in Air, the rest are mostly fire and water. Megan Fox's chart is mostly water, then earth, fire and air only making up 8% of her chart. My chart is mostly air and I am not considered universally attractive. It's sort of ridiculous to assume that most attractive people are air dominant. I also don't have an hour glass figure. IP: Logged |

I'm air dominant and very average looking. I think the best looking women are actually water signs and Libras.IP: Logged |

If these planets fall in air houses then she has air in her chart! I have 1 placement of water and one placement of earth in my chart...but im very emotional, and need help being grounded. Why do i have so much emotional water and no grounding when they both only have 1 placement in my chart? Because my saggy sun/merc fall in scorpio house, my leo saturn falls in cancer house, then my only earth falls in 12th, virgo moon in water ruled pisces house....so i have a lot of placements diluted by water...but nothing is stabilized by earth placements! I have alot of air, libra AC, venus pluto...gemini mars I also have hour glass even tho im little, for what i weigh i should look too thin, but i hold weight so proportionately that i stay curvy no matter how much i weigh. I used to love that waif look and hated my figure but ive had to accept im always going to be curvy...oh well! im 5'2, 103...even my daughter 4'11 85 is curvy, shes got her libra moon, libra mars falling right before her scorpio AC and sun, merc, jupiter, neptune in aqua to thank for that! Shes a knock and doesnt even realize it! IP: Logged |

I think Air overall is the most attractive element. Geminis and Libras...Aquarius too, when they try to look good ('cause otherwise, they care about comfort rather than looks).IP: Logged |

I disagree that astrology has much influence over the physical appearance. Demeanor, attraction, presentation, energy, yes, but looks.. Not so much imo. Behavior has a lot of influence on how you are perceived. You know how that really hot girl shows her psychotic, b*tchy, entitled side and all of the sudden not only do you want to get away from her, but you also start to see her as far less attractive. And how someone who isn't really attractive to you at first glance, has a glow of pleasant energy around them and as you get to know them, they shift into someone who is not only a joy to be around but also to look at. I think its kinda like that with air signs, they are generally people people. They have that natural charisma that draws people to them because they are so social and pleasant to be around therefore influencing your perception of them. That being said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My Gemini stellium (Sun, Venus, Mercury, Chiron, Aqua ASC) friend IS what I would consider universally beautiful even tho she doesn't take care of herself. But she is overbearing and struggles to maintain relationships. A Libra I know with a Libra sun, Mars and Mercury has a disproportional face with a wide flat nose a wide square chin and short teeth but she is confident and sweet. And she looks like her mom, another Libra. The beauty of their family is the sister/daughter who is an Aries with the only air placement being Saturn in Aqua, her face is a lot "softer" around the edges. IP: Logged |

I've noticed the great beauties tend to be air dominant- Gemini and Libra but no so much Aquarius (I think too much Aqua makes a person look weird), probably because air gives an ethereal quality. I've seen a lot of strong, beautiful women who are fire dominated and they're usually very jealous and aggressive and have major diva attitudes. They want to be praised and seen as the most beautiful whereas, Air dominated beauties tend to be a bit more distant and even platonic.I'm very air dominated. I have Gemini Sun, Mercury, Venus and Libra Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, and Libra-Libra Ascendant. I've not ever encountered people who have said that I'm ugly nor rejected me because I didn't "look" good "enough," but I have had a lot of people treat me like crap based on my appearance because they think that would shatter my confidence. In reality, I could give a sh*t what people think of me. One of my Aries friends who is very fire dominated has major fits if we go places and not everyone's eyes are on her. She is a major flirt and an egotistical one at that, and she loves guys asking for her number. On the other hand, I get overlooked not because I didn't pass the muster on appearance, I just get passed over because I don't go out of my way to approach others. Or rather, I don't approach anyone at all. IP: Logged |

Most of the people I consider very attractive don't have air in their charts at all (or only one planet). I would also not count house placements as actual elements because they're not. I prefer heavy earth and water people. But I think it's more the vibe I get from them. I don't think that astrology has that much influence on looks at all. I feel like people make up stuff like that to feel better about themselves but whatever if that's what you need.... IP: Logged |

I believe this is all relative because i've not been attracted exclusively to any air signs. On the contrary, i usually overlook them almost immediately.IP: Logged |

I feel like this is the 9th billionth thread I've seen that seeks to validate the notion that only air (or fire) makes you attractive. I'm not sure if this is meant to take a dump on the other two elements or if people try to elevate themselves by claiming things like ~universal beauty. "She's pretty and has no air? omg no way! She MUST have some air somewhere! Quick look at all her house placements! NO? Must be the wrong birth time then! She's clearly a Libra rising! akgawkgawk".......ugh IP: Logged |

Beauty and attraction are completely different things. The OP asked about universal beauty and it possibly being linked to air dominated charts, not what posters themselves find to be "attractive." Attraction and attractiveness are linked to many things and are not universal.I don't think any of these threads are specifically trying to dump anything on anyone so taking it to the next level of being offended that you don't have air or fire and think that others are saying you're not pretty because you don't have an element is really ridiculous. Whiny people must have heavy water and earth in their chart. Oh, whoops, did I type that outloud? HAHAHA IP: Logged |

I knew this would be coming and missing the point completely. It is sad that the self-obsession with some is so great that any challenging their little self-love fest is immediately put into a corner. This isn't about me. I have enough aspects and elements that would fit into this little theory. I take offense to this ridiculousness because it A) reinforces a standard of beauty that is currently promoted to us by the media B) excludes certain characteristics as being beautiful - not taking into account the differences of its perception in regards to era and place. This surely seems to be too much for some to grasp. IP: Logged |

I have to say that I don't buy the theory that Air dominant people are universally more beautiful then the other elements.I think all of the elements are beautiful in different ways. I'm pretty sure you could find examples of gorgeous people who are dominant in anyone of the elements. I have noticed that certain aspects involving Venus, or the Asc/1st house do enhance universal attractiveness though. But that is not the same thing as element dominance.
