Topic: "Enjoying" Your Crushes

Hey LL!I was having a discussion with a friend over the weekend about a minor attraction which I developed on a classmate a long time ago, which has recently become a major one in the last few weeks. So, I call her saying: "Oh no! I like someone and it sucks!" I don't know what it is about attractions, but I always feel so vulnerable and I HATE that! (Must be that venus/uranus conjunction in Sagittarius?) But my friend gives advice and says: "Enjoy yourself!" And I'm like..."Enjoy?" That word and this scenario never crossed my mind! LOL. (Btw, my friend is older and so much wiser than me!) So, what are your placements and do you "enjoy" your attractions? Try to act on them? Avoid them? Share! :-) My placements are: Sun in Capricorn, Moon in Taurus, Mercury in Capricorn, Venus in Sagittarius, and Mars in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

Aww, Sorcha, me too, haha!  I almost always have a crush on someone. It don't feel right if I don't, which is the case right now. For me, when crushes happen, it's "crush at first sight" and then a whole lot of daydreaming, which I enjoy the most anyways, lol. Sun in Taurus

I enjoy a new crush for about a couple days before it starts to get nerve-wracking and feel painful emotionally to me, like the equivalent of blue b.alls for dudes or something.IP: Logged |

I enjoy my crush for a couple days and then I start being too intense and focusing on them. I hold onto my crushses a LONG time. It's even annoying to me.ASC Gem sextile Venus in Aries in 11H

WOWi have the exact same AWKWARD VULNERABLE effect... and the whole time it just feels like "DUNNO JUST What TO DO W MYSELF" i want sthg to either happen quickly , or to fail quickly, so i can be put out of my torture I have uranus trine venus - Sag, Aries respectively... sun and moon in pisces... i m always finding the combination of my extreme senstivity – and rash PASSIONATE lust v hard to deal with! they re always fighting! I have a lot of water in my chart--12th house moon (reallllly sensitive) and a mars pluto conjunction in scorpio in the 5th!. I know EXACTLY what you are talking about here! It's like I want to hide my feelings (moon) but I feel so transparent anyway! And what I'd really like to do is just get it started already. That Scorpio energy is just too much to deal with for me sometimes. It's good for focus on goals/achievements in life, but not so good for relationships I think.

I can really be emotionally obsessed when someone catches my interest. I'll stop at nothing to get them to be with me, and us have a relationship. I really can conquer someone if I try, but I can feel a little ashamed about it. I'm very powerful when I feel desire for someone. I thoroughly enjoy the chase, but it can make me have serious mood swings and emotional turmoil if things don't go to plan - yet I'll keep on going until they do, until I either absolutely win or absolutely lose. I feel this is totally represented by my Mars placements, since my Mars rules my 5th of dating/sex/fun, and is in my 8th of intimate relationships. For me, most of the time, the most interesting and fulfilling crushes are ones that end up being serious to me. I rarely can lightly enjoy a crush, it's usually full-blown emotional obsession for me or nothing at all. Sweet-Scorpian....That sounds INTENSE! Pause. I like it! LOL :-) I'm always fascinated by how people "conquer" others and just go after whatever it is they want--especially when it comes to people. This. I'm at the point where I'm "trying" to ignore him so I can stop obsessing but he pops up even more .-. He's super shy and awkward in social situations so I feel I might just scare him by possibly coming on strong  blehh Oh and scorpio rules my 5th house with mars and pluto in scorpio in that house, so yea I definitely feel obsessive when theres a strong attraction to someone

Oooooo I just am like this. I forget I'm like that. Like 6 weeks ago I made a post about a crush I had on an aqua. And someone responded like "are you even on his radar?" and I'm like in my head "what are you talking about? Of course I ll get him?" but yeah now we re exclusively dating eachother. It's going slow but definitely getting there. Anyways, my Aries Mars is in my 5h. My seventh house is ruled by Venus and my Venus is in the 8th. Sweet scorpion - what sign is your Venus again? I'm very much someone who can charge ahead but feel guilty for it. I feel it's a mix of my Mars-Pluto and Mars-Uranus, and then Mars opposing Neptune, and also being in the 29th degree of Cancer... so sometimes my Mars can unexpectedly masquerade as Leo-like and when it happens I can feel the extreme Cancerian guilt. But nonetheless, I am very much magnetic and intense and definitely go after whoever I please. It isn't always right, but most of the time men, especially more vulnerable guys, feed off of and sense this kind of energy in me. It's caused a lot of issue in the past when I DON'T want it to be happening, e.g., I'm not interested, trust me. But I'm giving you advice, don't follow my example and act purely on instinct. Because that's what Mars-Pluto is, especially when either are in a relationship/sex house [7th, 8th, 5th]. It's animal instincts taken to a higher level with love. It isn't always right to charge ahead based on strong feelings since like the saying goes, you play with fire, you get burned. I always take risks with love but sometimes they do not pay off at all.
