Right now I'm very much into the instrumental tracks of popular songs and not so much their lyrics. I absolutely loathe (with every fiber of my being) the monobeat mind-numbing techno tracks artists are coming out with today (Chris Brown, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull). Those tracks need to go die in a fire, seriously.

I really like acoustic stuff so I've been listening to a lot of Lumineers, Joshua Radin, Of Monsters and Men, etc. Oh, also Niccolas Jarr (sp?) which is a bit of remixed electronica music.

Moon in the 11th (always searching for new, unknown artists) Venus in the 11th, Mars in the 12th (I need music leaning towards the calming or quiet side vs. seizure-inducing Nicki Minaj's "Starships")

I try not to limit myself by saying I like only one type of music. That's probably because of my moon/mars in the third house of libra, and my eclectic sun/uranus conjunction in a sagittatrius fifth house. A strongly placed jupiter in the seventh house of aquarius gives me a tendancy to look for global music.

These have been on infinite replay as of lately. But it can change in a heartbeat. I listen to music that will enhance my mood, not change it. So if I feel sad/depressed/melancholic I'd probably listen to some real dark classical music or something that will make me more sad/depressed/melancholic.

What are my music related placements??

I have Venus conj. Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Ceres in Cancer 11H and Moon in Cap 5H.
