I've noticed a recent trend among my friends (okay, admittedly, and myself) of dating people from your same modality.

From your experience, are the outcomes usually good for mutable signs dating other mutable signs, etc?, in other words, the square-sun sign pattern?

For some reason I have never had luck with dating other air signs, there doesn't seem to be much of a rapport there. It seems I get along well with people with elements I lack. My strongest connections have been with people with fire or earth, which I don't have much in my own chart.

I only like to date fixed suns! I know I said that before. Squares and Oppositions and conjunctions!

I like the steadiness in fellow fixed suns. I really don't have much insight to give except. YES, I do this. I prefer to do this.

Modality would be other cardinal signs for you, not element. I am guessing you're a Libra so libra, Aries, cancer and Capricorn are all in cardinal modality, like you

Were any of these people Aries or Cap?

Personally preferably people with at least two, I have three within my Sun/moon/asc all in different elements.

I am Taurus Sun/ASC and Pisces Moon.

On the whole, I find myself attracted to cardinal signs more than anything with the exception of Scorpio.

Too much fixed energy would probably be a bad thing for myself, and the mutable sign people I know are a little too flaky

Yeah I prefer at least 2 of 3. I am triple fixed like you.
1 of 3 is fine if the sun is fixed at least.

Oh, my sister is an Aquarius and she has been with a Taurus guy for four years now. My other sister is a Leo and she was with her Leo ex for five years.

So it can work in regards to your post.

I don't think I could be with a Taurus or an Aquarius long term, they are just too different from me. A Scorpio possibly, because of my moon.

I'm quite mutable dominant and I find myself dating people who have at least one of the luminaries in a mutable sign, too. In all cases of committed relationships this has been the case. #1 was mutable sun-moon, #2 was mutable moon in a stellium with venus and mars, $3 was mutable sun, #4 is mutable sun, too.

I think I just am hesitant to date another guy without fixed placements in big 3 bc the two I did, ended up having like double lives and cheating on me. Maybe it was me. I read people with Scorpio asc can be cheated on bc their sting, something to that tune. I would suppos fixed placements could handle it better and relate or find comfort in my triple fixedness

One realtionship I've seen have great success over the years with no cheating and a growing bond of love is one of my closest friends and her boyfriend. They have been dating for I think either eight or nine years now (and they're both 25!). They've made it through college, living in different countries, unemployment, etc. They are both *very* fixed people. My friend is Scorpio (4 planets), with an Aqua moon and mars. Her boyfriend is an Aquarius with Taurus moon.

It can work if the partners are willing to learn from each other. Even though there is of course tension, there is underlying similarities and approaches to life which is comforting. For fixed signs--stability. For mutable signs--adaptability.

My best friend is about to get married, and her boyfriend is mutable sun like she is. Going on nine years now, too, I think.

Every person I have ever been dumped by has been a mutable sign. Needless to say, I'm hesitant to date anymore mutable signs, lol. And I look at moon sign compatibility a lot more now as well because I realize that it only comes to the fore when you live with a person, but it's huge.

peach, what draws you to fixed sign men? I'm just sort of dating a fixed-stellium for the first time myself. The guy I'm seeing has sun, moon, Mercury & Mars all in Taurus. He is the most predictable man who ever lived. He has done the same thing every Friday night for the last, like, 7 years.

This makes a lot of sense to me. Honestly, I only know of one cardinal sign couple and they're a conjunction (Capricorn), but I know a LOT of mutable-mutable couples and a few fixed-fixed. I've noticed, for instance, that Ashton Kutcher, who's an Aqua stellium, only ever dates fixed-sign women - Scorpio (Brttany Murphy), Scorpio, Taurus, and now Leo.

Hahaha I love that about fixed men. They're predictable. I guess socially I'd like a guy who likes to go to the same place every week, like how I am. That much Taurus would be a dream come true to me. I like creatures of habit. Even with the guy I'm seeing now (aqua/Virgo/aqua) I always know what he's doing because he laid out his schedule for me and vice versa before we even hung out alone. He always wants to know what I'm doing and how it was. It's nice to ask someone what they're up to and already know the answer...every time. I like that much more than id like mystery. I also think it's harder for fixed signs to leave you (or for me to leave them) and if they do (or I do) it was probably well thought out and emotionally for the best. Just my take

I know exactly what you mean about the moons. I dated a Cap with a Scorp moon and when we moved in together it was awful. I really have liked earth moons after this with fixed suns. You have to be able to relax with someone without trying. Especially for the long-term I imagine.

Aquacheeka, what is your moon? Im sure at one point I knew

It's Pisces but it's Scorpio-flavoured (8th house, trine Pluto). I'm pretty eager to commit and make things exclusive, I can't relate when they say Aquas are commitmentphobic. That doesn't sound like me at all.
