Hmmm.... interesting. RAS, your OP described me pretty much to a *T*. I have a late Libra Asc (along with my Sun/Mercury/Venus) and when I first meet people, I'm so sweet and polite, it's ridiculous, haha.  Don't have much to say at first, am just very passive.. as you said.But... when I get to know someone and get comfortable around them, ehhh..... yeah... can be a bit too forthright with my opinions, to say the least. But like you said, if the person knows me well enough they know it's not me being mean or rude because I am genuinely sweet and nice. I'd never be malicious. I just get that foot in mouth syndrome. I've been told "you don't think before you speak" many times! But it's so the polar opposite of how I am upon first impression... can take people aback. Generally, I've always blamed my Sag Moon and Uranus in the 3rd! RAS, do you have any Sag positions, by the way? IP: Logged |

Something everyone needs to understand about Libra AC is that it's the biggest front Astrology can produce. That said, I myself am a Libra AC and know many others, so I can attest to that. Our core dilemma is that, without others, we cease to have an identity. We need the emotional reciprocation from others; the validation that, yes, we are indeed charming and lovable, and in essence, the best! We do this by being accommodating, agreeable, diplomatic and surface-oriented. And let me say, people LOVE that surface. Libra AC are mirrors; we show you that sugar-sweet part of yourself you only wish you could access. The sad part is, that's not us at all.Only once we are completely comfortable with someone or a certain environment will we show our true colors (aka the rest of our chart). In Britney's case, because the X Factor is a permanent gig in which she already has the love of the audience and cast, she feels safe to let her Sun/Mercury/Uranus conjunction shine through. Libra AC will only be tactless when it is safe to be so. It is important to look at what Venus is doing, too. For example, Brit's Venus is in Capricorn, a naturally critical/elitist sign. I myself have it in Scorpio, conjunct Pluto, so I may seem very sweet, but best of luck to those who cross me or my loved ones. yes this is really true i do have uranus in the third as well as saggitarius ruling my third house and mercury opposote uranus and conjunct jupiter. i also have my sun and mercury in the 9th. i am very much like evrything you described here. people tell me the same thing and are shocked after knowing me a bit better ------------------

I have libra rising but I don't think I would attribute that with being tactless, I have pluto in the first and mars in scorpio square mercury in leo so it's hard for me to not say things I believe are true, and the truth hurts, and I think I can be not so tactful in that respect. If i think someone's shirt is ugly, I would NEVER tell them that. I have sun and venus in cancer, so I am very considerate of other people's feelings and how my words affect them. I am a pretty quiet and reserved person for the most part. I don't like to waste my breath. But when I do open it, the words I say I mean with conviction and passion and if you ask me for advice, well, you asked for it basically lol. IP: Logged |

god that woman is thick as a plank. her own vocal abilities leave alot to be desired. gyrating and lipsynching are her areas of expertise. i don't understand why she is on that panel. paula abdul's vocals were average but at least she offered proper advice and (when she wasn't slurring)always articulated herself wonderfully. i miss paula  IP: Logged |

my brother is an Aqua sun libra Asc (with jupiter in 1st). his personality just absolutely repulses me. and being tactless is one of his many lovely qualities  .. i've never met anyone more tactless than him.he just takes it to a whole new level. but i don't think its really a libra thing. hes got a lot of things aspecting his Asc. his tightest Asc aspect, is his aries moon opposite Asc by 1 dg. he's also got merc conjunct saturn

Okay so my boyfriend is an Aries sun and Mercury with Libra rising... he doesn't know how to censor himself when needed. His Aries mouth will say some outrageous, outlandish **** but people totally disregard him because of that Libra charm! Because of it, he gets away with anything because he's "so cute"...gets on my damn nerves... IP: Logged |

LOL. me and my mother are always talking about how unbelievably rude my brother is to other people. the way he treats ALL of his friends, and how they ALL just take it, is unbelievable. i seriously resent him for this....i secretly hope one day, he gets punched in the face by someone he THINKS wouldn't object to his mistreating ways. he talks to his friends as if they are his peasants, and he's some king. it drives me crazyyy that NONE of his friends stand up to him, yet STILL hang out with him. the other day, he fukkin FLIPPED out on one of them for using his cologne without asking. embarrassed the guy while the girlfriend was there. and he's STILL friends with my brother O_O.i just don't get why he always gets away with this!
