I was thinking about this question for s year or two myself, glad you ask.

I figured outthe differences, thanks to understanding the difference and opposition of fire and air energy.

Sagittarius is fire energy, so its self centered, or ego driven,, self. Centered more. How does this play out in real life? Well you can thank sagittarius energy for defining culture, principles, and the ability of the human senses to work together to perceive things and make knowledge. Sagittarius is truth, gemini is fact.

Gemini energy is the sir energy, the detached air energy, the energy that gathers knowledge outside the senses: science - using tools that are able to sense things or do things beyond our senses.

For example, sagittarius energy believed that the world was flat. We depended on our own senses to believe. Then science, gemini energy, actually found, in fact with the help of science, that its round.

Fr me, this is how it plays out with people in life too..

Saggy people are more likely ruled by belief, not like pisces ( belief in a higher power) but belief in tht what they know is right. We call them principles. This is how cultures are separated, how laws in different regions are vary, its the reason people can never agree on what is right snd wrong in philosophy, its opinion, decided by ones senses. Sagittarius energy.

This is why sagittarius energy and gemini energy are botht important. We need gemini energy where the senses are limited. We need dsgittarius energy to define a conscience for society that we agree on. Because saying its wrong to kill some or an animal can never in fact, be proved right or wrong, it just comes down to your principle beliefs, which are more ruled by how you feel, rather than hpow you think.

Ad we need gemini because theres things we need to know to help us learn more and understand better, which is were irrelevant, personal belief or feelings are irrelevant.

I always used Aries as guide at first to understand oppositions, it defines fire signs sd competitive, ego driven, and more self centred, so i imagine aries in the 5th house or put in a world where itd ego only thrives where society appreciates it. Or where the world of knowledge and learning matters.

And i think it works.. Sagittarius love travel because they want to experience these e things first maybe, but most importantly, they are feeding their 5 senses, geminis senses are all about the brain and the facts

Just my opinion and conclusions i came to after a long time of analysing.

theres a good scene in the film 'Seven' that kinda displays these differences, brad pitt, who by no coincidence to me is sagittarius himself, and morgan a gemini. play roles that are opposites in this manner.

many scenes through the film.. an example would be when they are looking for evidence or a clue at a murder scene and they have reason to beleive this painting is a clue, brad pits sagittarius reaction was first and said theres nothing behind the picture or on it. then morgans character, somerset, uses some science to discover that there is infact something: finger prints.

I don't know any Gemini with more than 4 speeds - slow, very slow, fast and very fast... the medium is missing...

...not true - they excel at this compared to Geminis - their sense of direction is superior to any sign from the zodiac... Virgos are better with spotting details - but a Sagittarius might spot something on the ground from long distance... something that Virgos can't spot till it gets in their field of view.

I have a friend like that...and he's a Hippie in the true meaning of this term... he promotes love and peace on earth, he likes to go in faraway places wile "hitchhiking" - we live in Europe and he even has India in plan for a future trip... - he's already been to Africa with the red cross foundation... but... it's a sad hippie story.

...if i read only the title of a book i don't intend to talk about it - that's a Leo thing... not Gemini. -_-
