I'm an Earth Snake, and I don't hate kids. It took awhile to bring out my maternal instinct. My mom was narcissistic growing up and cold towards me, and I'd never had siblings or been around babies that much. However, I LOVE babies and kids. I just don't want any of my own (I also have Pluto in the 5th though.).

ALSO, RunAround are you wearing a red shirt in your profile picture on FB? So cool that I sound effing CREEPY right now.

I've also met childfree Cancer suns and have heard of a few Leos who don't want kids, and know a few who never had any (not sure if the ones who didn't wanted to or not; they never mentioned it one way or the other).

As for Chinese astrology, remember, too, that everyone born under the same year is the same sign, and even having the same sign, as with Western, there's a lot of diversity.

I myself like feminine things, but, other than cooking and decorating, I really don't have an interest in domestic stuff. I'm a lot more bossy and in some ways outright not-feminine, though I hide it: Linda Goodman called us Libras "iron fists in velvet gloves" for a reason!

And, too, being kind and feminine and being good with kids aren't mutually exclusive. That is, someone can be very feminine without liking kids or wanting them and can be very kind without liking kids or wanting any. When I am at my most kind/loving, I still am not good with kids and still don't want to have any or be really involved with them. (However, I've never met a puppy that I didn't love). Likewise, someone can also be very butch and be a great mom/great with kids, or else maybe be less sweet/nurturing but still be a good parent. So, just because someone doesn't like or want kids does NOT mean that they aren't feminine or kind. They can be both and still not be really into kids.

Omg this is me as well! I Too am a libra.

Even though I've never liked kids, and still dont.. I am very very nurturing/maternal with animals, and boyfriends. Show me a picture of a baby in a trash can, and not a thing happens to me inside. But show me an animal with obvious signs of abuse? Omgg I'm in tears, and I get depressed.I am very nurturing with my boyfriends. Can't help it. I just looooove it (especially when they're sick LOL).I too would like to know what aspects would make someone not want kids. Could it be an afflicted moon thing? I have cancer chiron in the 5th. That makes me wonder too

I'm the same way. (The part that I quoted).

I mean, it's not that I don't feel bad about the first scenario, but the difference is that seeing/hearing about something happening to an animal just rips my heart out and reaches me on a level that the other doesn't. Frankly, it doesn't bother me--I am who I am--but I tend to not tell people this because most are judge-y about it. Really relieved that I'm not the only one.

Some of my best friends are snake women and they love kids.
One is even obsessed with having children. She loves to work as a babysitter and thinks about having her own children all the time.
