Can Astrology help with weight loss?I've tried everything for weight loss including Weight Watchers,Nurtrisystem,Curves,Gym Memberships.I've lost some weight unfortunately I've gained some of it back already.Now I'm trying again anyone else her struggle with weight?

I read your mars sign has alot to do with physical activity.My mars sign is in Leo and I hate exercise with a passion.

I tend to not like it because it gets me sweaty.. Ironically, once i'm actually sweaty, i'm ready to do anything but i put up one long fight to even stay in the AC.

Maybe what's not working for you is that you're throwing your body into starvation mode and that may be why you gain it back quickly. At the start of any of those diets, what you'll lose is water weight... Not fat.

And if we could figure out how to lose weight astrologically then EVERYBODY would learn astrology!

I have learned my lesson. But truly have lost hundreds of pounds.

I always wished we could "choose" someone to put OUR extra pounds on. Like celebrities. They would all be huge! lol

I've noticed that Sun/Mars aspects can be useful in being active, if you post your chart I might be able to see what's blocking you but personally, I think emotional reasons are far more likely to be the cause of excess weight and if you can address those it could help.

I lost lots of weight when Saturn in Virgo was transiting my 1st house. It made nice aspects and my will of achieving that goal was very strong! But when it ended afterwards I regained everything back...

In 2013 Saturn in Scorpio's going to aspect your Leo Venus-Mars conjunction. It should trigger some weight loss, but I hope this is the only thing that's gonna happen. I cringe every time I see someone's chart with planets squaring/opposing in fixed signs and think about Saturn in Scorpio. You are going to be a little luckier. Saturn will also trine Chiron and Sun which are in your 4th. You'll be able to overcome obstacles easily. It's like your inner emotional mechanism which is responsible for how good or bad you feel will get an long-lasting upgrade. You can now start exercising at home if you want! I know you're in the right mood to do it!! Saturn is now aspecting your Cancer Mercury - Virgo Moon mutual reception and also your Asc.

Don't forget to keep working out when transiting Jupiter will conjunct your natal Jupiter and your Cancer stellium!

^i think i have some of these..

i'm a 0 degree scorp asc.. the ruler of my asc/h1 is pluto in scorpio also at 0 degrees and saturn is transiting my asc/h1 ruler atm..

Thanks again everyone for your replies..Its so good knowing I can use astrology for my weight loss journey.Gonna be taking advantage of Saturn and Jupiter.

DeathIsanllusion I lost alot of weight when saturn in virgo was in my 6th house too.I'm hoping this time around with saturn in scorpio, I'll have just as much luck with my weight loss.

6th house for sure. When Saturn entered my 6th a little over 2 years ago I started getting serious about working out, then once it hit Pluto in there I started learning how to eat better. Once Saturn entered Scorpio (6th) my knee healed enough I could start running again and now I am just excited I can run so I make sure go on days I am not at the gym. And I just noticed in a little over a year, Saturn will hit Uranus (still in 6th) and I am wanting to do a half marathon and a triathlon around that time. (and with an above average finish time)

However all of this also coincided with a breakup of a long term relationship, in which I had not been very active for years. It did force a shift in perspective. But now I tend to go to the gym because I am bored and have nothing else to do...

Aside from astrology, losing weight shouldn't be about losing weight. Thats not very sustainable. Its about being healthy, its a lifestyle change. Real sustained weight loss doesn't happen until there is a real shift in thinking/how you want to live. Thats why fad diets don't work, unless people see it as a long term change....it is still better to learn to eat more nutritiously (NOT calorie count). Thats even more important than jumping on a treadmill, in terms of health and weight loss.
