I have recently noticed that in all of my most significant relationships, the other has had some kind of hang up with the past. Whether theyr'e holding a grudge or can't let go of bitter feelings towards an ex, or whatever. Even when we are arguing it will always turn into something that's related to an event long ago. I just realised that all of those people have a certain sign in a significant planet. Can you guess what the sign is?

I have a hard time letting go of hurt feelings if I don't express/talk about it to the person (sag moon) but letting go can be hard. Venus in Cancer & Pluto in aspect to Sun, Moon, Venus & Mars.

If I am guessing I would go with Scorpio & Cancer placements but I consider myself a beginner still.

Yes Cancer. My first husband had moon in Cancer, a close friend who just lives his life through the past has Cancer Asc and my current partner has Mercury in Cancer. I swear if we have to have ONE more conversation about 20 years ago I will be very close to leaving!

Lol, I love talking about the past and my Venus in Aquarius husband is not to interested in those conversations

Just take those people to yard sales, thrift stores and antique shops to keep them happy

Planets in 4th house, especially Sun or Moon, could cause someone to want to talk and be sentimental about their past.

My BF has this, and he is very, abnormally so, attached to his home and his roots. He also has Scorpio Moon conjunct Pluto. His roots give him pain yet he's so attached he can't break away. Moon near the Nadir/IC squares his ASC, making this obsession/tie that hurts but helps him very apparent when other people get to know him, and he flakes out a lot from familial duty and always playing up to what his family wants him to do.

I've noticed Moon square ASC from the IC people tend to act similarly to that in many situations and times I've seen it come up in the natal chart. There's this weird overemphasis on the family life or a tie to it for better or for worse that can make them hard to understand.

Not so much sentimental, but more holding onto past hurts, bringing up IRRELEVANT stuff in arguments. For example, I made the mistake of being totally honest with my current partner by telling him something deeply personal about my past. Something that doesn't affect him in the slightest, and every time we argue he uses it to hurt me and throw it in my face. Even though the argument is on a TOTALLY different topic and isn't even remotely tied to it. And my close friend can't let go of his bitterness toward his ex and won't shut up about her, Even though it was only a fling, nothing serious and so far into the past he should have completely moved on by now etc etc. I mean holding grudges type thing.

omg this happened to me with someone who has Chiron in the 4th house. and yes it was my fault being honest too, I shouldn't have opened up that much to a new friend as he didn't open up much to me either. when he said I just want attention, I was really shocked. reading your comment I understand now why he said that. I know he has childhood pain, he didn't say much about it, probably because every time he opened up, his family would say he wanted attention. doesn't make it right that he said it to me (or other people) but I understand why. I would never say that to anyone experiencing childhood abuse. yes maybe some of them are just making it up, to get attention but there are still honest people out there.

A friend of mine who is born 4 days before me, has Sun in her 4th house - and she's a Cancer ASC. And she is totally obsessed with childhood, doesn't like anything new, modern, etc. Even before i knew she was Cancer ASC i thought she might be one, because of that, LOL.

"I have a hard time letting go of hurt feelings(VEDIC MOON SCORPIO)

if I don't express/talk about it to the person (Vedic venus gemini---holding back expression of love because of secret pain?)

but letting go can be hard. Venus in Cancer & Pluto in aspect to Sun, Moon, Venus & Mars.

If I am guessing I would go with Scorpio & Cancer placements but I consider myself a beginner still."
