I think that with Neptune conjunct Mars in the 8th I may die from a stroke and lapse into unconsciousness beforehand. It may be a mysterious death. I have come close to death by drowning twice.However the 12th house can also show our demise especially if we are institutionalised at the time. IP: Logged |

Virgo on the 8th house cusp; Mercury in the 7th, quintile Pluto (eighth house), sextile Jupiter-Saturn (8th house).I'm probably gonna live a longggg life and then go "suddenly", when it's finally my time. Exactly HOW, I have no idea. I think I have a mild hard aspect between Mercury and Neptune though, so maybe in my sleep. Libra occupies most of my eighth house too... OMG you people!I don't care to think about it. But, honestly, I think dying in a plane crash would be absolutely horrifying. Up there with drowning. I want to be drugged up the ying yang so I feel no pain, and then have someone sneak up from behind and lop my head off. Yeah, that's the ticket. IP: Logged |

Cancer, empty on my 8th..The moon in the 6th, aspected by all my funny t fixed t squares, opposed to my Scorp asc. Venus in the 4th~ I know I will die fully awake, probably from an illness (probably derived from nervous stress) with lots of family around~ IP: Logged |

an astrologer told me (many years ago) that smoking would be the death of me (Virgo 8th house, im gussing?)I hope it's peaceful in my bed, fully aware of what's going on and knowing that i am taking my last breaths. I've a feeling it could be by heart attack or some other heart related illness. Suicide is always a possibility with me, sadly. If I am alone and old and not able to function well on my own, i might go out seppuku style. I just hope I go with all my marbles as they say we take our minds with us onto the other side. I want to know what's going on when I do. Nothing too crazy or violent for me. My wish is to cross over peacefully in some way. To take a peaceful state of mind with me when i do... IP: Logged |

*meaning, i don't want to go in a state of mind that forces me to be scared, angry or not ready (murder, accident, rape or some other terrorizing situation, etc). That is not an ideal state of mind to cross over in. It can keep one stuck there...in that emotion. And take longer to cross into the light...or unable to see it, because of the traumatic soul shock.I want to know what's about to 'hit me'. and be ready and at peace with it. IP: Logged |

Hell, I don't know..I don't even know how to guess.Any guesses? 8H ruler Mercury, conjunct Sun, Neptune, and Uranus (10th, 5th, and 4th house rulers) all those planets (incl. Mercury) are in my 2nd house. square Mars (6th house ruler) in my 5th house. I've actually always joked, but kinda thought seriously, that I would die from shark attack. I have always had horrible dreams about being killed by a shark, and they're the only dreams in which I feel pain. The pain is always in the same spot, too..it's on my right side, on my torso, slightly below my rib cage..and in the dreams the sensation is so overwhelming that it wakes me up. Sometimes in those dreams I am not even being killed by the shark, I am just viewing the shark and suddenly that pain occurs in my side. Funny thing is, i never had been to the ocean and had no reason to fear sharks growing up..but when I was 19 I first visited the ocean and have since been back many times and i LOVE it. I want to live near the ocean, it draws me. Maybe this is why. IP: Logged |

In retrospect, I wonder if I might die during childbirth.My Cancerian (motherhood;family) Mars makes hard aspects to heavy outer planets in my eighth house, including Saturn and Pluto, the planets usually associated with death. Moon conjunct Pluto in the eighth could be a second indicator of that also. I'll probably conk out in the middle of popping out twins or something (Gemini on the fifth house cusp). Incidentally Mercury, the ruler of my fifth house, makes an eighth house aspect too - albeit a positive one, but still... I've had other astrology-heads suggest to me lately that I'll probably burn-out or self-destruct in some way, but I don't know that I'd buy that unless I had Pluto or Saturn in the 12th house natally, which I don't. Not because the 12th is death - it isn't - but because of Pluto's/Scorpio's/the eighth house's association with death (in terms of transformation and destruction). Sorry to butt in Stacy but how did you handle transiting Uranus in hard aspect to Saturn/Pluto in your 8th? That's as good a hint as any as to what to watch out for, at least in terms of basic theme. Just my 2. Feel free to not respond just something to mull over that I was reminded of in reading your post. And to clarify I don't mean death exactly (altho hello H8, don't worry I have my Sun there) just how it could get shaken up.IP: Logged |

No no, that opposition is just about to start soon for me - although, I should state here, that Pluto and Saturn aren't conjunct in my chart, it's Jupiter and Saturn.
I should say here though, that I did just handle Saturn pummeling first my Saturn, then my Jupiter, then my Moon-Pluto conjunction all in quick succession, and I'm still here to tell the tale. I'm pretty sure I'll get through the Uranus opposition just like I got through all of that - optimism, hope, God. Besides, Uranus figures prominently in my natal anyway, I'll probably have less of a hard time adjusting because of that.

I always think that I will have a violent death...at least I will not have a 'boring' death..it is a bit freaky..don't know why I am thinking that.8th house cusp = Aquarius
