Mars in the Twelfth! I'm not sure about alone time...I know that I do things more efficiently when I'm alone! Because otherwise I'll be distracted with talking to or making friends. If I'm alone and not at home, I generally get into mischief...I like to explore or play games, like hide on people and wait for them to find me or type things on their computer and watch them get scared.

Mars and Venus in Cancer in the 12th. I have to have it too and haven't for more than a year now. I kind of snapped last night and I'm demanding it. I can't even remember what bills I've paid lately. I can't ever seem to catch up on anything and I've got a rough week or weeks ahead with the landlords in court. I don't know if I'm gonna win or lose but it aint gonna be fun with this justice of the peace. He's just off the turnip truck and doesn't know or care what the law is. I think most Leo's are going thru a lot of crap right now with 4th house issues. I've got Moon in the 7th square Neptune in the 4th natally so this has been interesting to say the least. Yeah, I need alone time to think and fantasize because it's how I get my best ideas and intuitions. I try to hear God's voice. Anyway, I hope this works cuz I need it right now.

Mars in Capricorn in the 12th. If I didn't have my alone time (and I mean two hours in a row, at least) every weekend, I would be really short with people. It's an absolute necessity. I am always scheming to have my son (Gemini rising, never stops talking, always wants something, bless his lil heart) go out with his Dad or with his Nana so I can just listen to my own music and lay down and relax.

I spend too much of my awake time (at work, in the house) talking to people or catering to people. My alone time allows me to regenerate and focus on me.

Why do you think it's 12th house related, though?

Just need a few hrs in a day... Mornings and nights are my time. I don't like to rush. I become super exhausted if I'm around people all day and I ave no moments to myself... This doesn't include the ppl I am very close to.
I guess thats why I love coffee and tea time... Its like stopping to smell the flowers

YES! Totally need time alone every day, or else I go batty. I'm a natural loner to begin with, and without long stretches alone I start to lose it with people. It feels like a huge weight is off my shoulders when I'm alone after being around others for too long.

Yeah.. if I actually did something with it. I usually lounge around and procrastinate. The time has flown by and I'm still at square one. Goofing off here or somewhere ... I feel bad afterwards because I haven't accomplished what I took time out to do.
Its ridiculous because when I do what I am supposed to I feel relieved afterwards .

Saturn chart ruler in the 12th. It may be fun for Saturn but bothersome for me.

My Chart Ruler Jupiter is in the 12th house.
I love my time alone, unfortunately I don't get a lot of it.
Sometimes, a person just has to recharge so I'll close the doors and windows and just hibernate in my study.
(or the kitchen, 4th house Sun here)

Mars in 12th (leo) - ALONE time is VERY important to me. I'm with RedScorp on being more efficient when I work alone and being distracted when working with others. Usually, at public functions, I'm pretty much an observer. I do tend to explore on my own, as well (i.e. stores, investigations, etc.). On fb, my chat thing is always off. I'm not really into the phone chat thing just for the sake of talking either.

Don't all people need to recuperate by being alone for a while? It would be more to the point to ask if anyone who does not have planets in the 12th need alone time as well.

The point is that 12th housers reading this thread are bound to agree but so would most other people.

I need alone time to dream about romance, it's what keeps me going sometimes and changes my mood in an instant. I can't handle being around a lot of people for along time.. I always have to go to the bathroom and stay there for awhile or go to another room or outside.

Empty 12th house in Cancer with a Pisces Sun.

I lived in a house with 8 other people... the bathroom was dubbed my bedroom because I was in there so often. It was the only place I had to escape from everybody lol

BUT I only *NEED* alone time if I'm upset about something or don't get any time alone at all. Like when living with 8 other people Just a few minutes a day to gather my thoughts and energies is usually enough for me. Other than that, bring on the masses

hmm maybe.. but I think its vital for us 12th housers.. my experience has been that most people don't understand my need for solitude.

an only child so i am used to, and have always been content with, my own company.

saturn does play a part i think, softly aspecting sun and moon, for me solitude = at-one-ment. pets don't count lol <3

i've got saturn, uranus and neptune in capricorn with neptune sitting right on top of my ascendant. i only need alone time to recuperate (shower/sleep/eat)... other than that i much prefer to be out and social. i like to keep busy because otherwise i get too comfortable and lazy, wasting my time just lying around.

Have three planets in 12th house. Moon, Jupiter, and Mars, my time alone is very important to me. It helps me regain my thoughts, and meditate on things that need focus. I think without my alone time, I would be overwhelmed with serious anxiety. Have tried before going without it, only ending up with sleepless nights, and acting b**chy around people.
