Cap Moon I try so hard not to cry in public.. and I don't. No one has ever seen me cry except my mom and it was recently. She said "I'm so happy because you're crying" (Cancer Asc) Hahaha! She's never seen me cry and I needed to let it out really bad.. I wouldn't say I'm detached. I'm VERY empathetic and want to be the healer and dig into people's problems psychologically. But I won't express the feelings I feel for them. People that are close to me have learned that I'm not really showy with my emotions and instead I do things for them that show how I feel for them.IP: Logged |

I can relate to that. When I say detached I don't mean you don't feel anything, rather that you analyze your feelings to death before deciding what way you think is appropriate to feel. I have Moon trine Saturn and am working on understanding how big (or little) a role it plays in my emotional personality. I can relate to your behavior a lot. My parents are the only people who can make me cry and who've seen me cry. IP: Logged |

I have Moon trine Saturn and when I was younger, I was an extremely emotional person. I couldn't understand why, when people offended me, I would cry so much. So, in an attempt to "boy" up an not be too much of a "girl", I enrolled in martial arts; firstly because I felt that that would enable me to stand up for myself and secondly, it would give my powerful emotions some much-needed release. At the time, Saturn was forming a trine with with my moon and soon thereafter my parents noticed an increased withdrawal from them(which they associated with adolescence) I think Saturn aspecting anything makes you "grow up" and choose whether to accept something as is or change it. In my case, Saturn may have prompted me to get a grip on my emotional state and not let things run out of control. Saturn inhibits and prohibits(a lot). And so, in a way, this filters also in relationships. I have Saturn aspect Moon, Mercury and Venus nataly and with the current Saturn in Scorpio transits, more "culling" of "unnecessary" stuff is coming. When you are with a Moon in Capricorn(unaspected) or with someone with Moon aspecting Saturn, they usually are dealing with contradictions of keeping it together vs letting it all flow. So, there is an expression of emotion, and when its "too much", Saturn will have them pull back and behave stoic. Saturn dislikes pretension and so, if the moon aspecting Saturn individual is showing emotion, be sure that its from the heart.

THIS! This right here. I do this frequently. It's more stressful to hold it in like that but I'm too embarrassed and uncertain of my feelings to express them at times. IP: Logged |
